"This place has something for everyone. They have SO many specials, two menus for lunch specials, then if you miss this they have an early dinner special as well as regular dinner specials, special chef's dinner, low fat menus (food is steamed and you can choose the sauce which you can add on yourself) and dim sum (biggest sui mai) I've ever seen, they have northern Chinese dishes and traditional Cantonese dishes (like egg foo young, which someone called an omelette LOL. Although not the healthiest for people ordering from the healthy menu when you order a dinner vs a la carte, you get a wonton skin appetizer which are like tortilla chips you get in Mexican restaurant which will take the edge off your appetite until you get your entrees. Also not on the menu, they do something that Chinese restaurants used to do, which is serve you a pot of tea, jasmine, which they give you without charge ! They put the money in portion size (large amount of meat) not in the overhead as the place is very simple.Want to address some criticisms, someone claimed that their dish only have celery, the menu describes what vegetables are in the dishes, if you get one that just says vegetables, you will get a large variety that includes mini corn, mushrooms and water chestnuts ! They do have a photo menu in the restaurant posted but a HUGE printed one. Unlike another review there is NO brewery below but they DO serve liquor. And they are very pleasant and I have the feeling if you are unhappy about something they will please you,"

"I used to come to this restaurant with confidence that the food would be consistently good. However, in recent visits, the quality has severely declined. My mother and I typically order the same items, but they have been lacking in quality lately. The California rolls were poorly made with barely any rice on the sides. One time they even forgot the avocado and substituted seaweed with soy paper, charging us extra for the mistake. We were extremely disappointed when we found a plastic lid in our ramen, and although the owner promised to comp the dish, we were only given a 20% discount after it was replaced. All of these issues occurred during one visit, leading us to decide to find another place to dine. While the wait staff is excellent and efficient, the management and food quality control are lacking. This restaurant used to be great, but it seems they have fallen short. I would not recommend this place for Japanese cuisine unless they improve their standards or hire better chefs."

"I went with a large group and the owner didnt want to take separate checks as most restaurants do these days. He didn't quite know how to handle a group of 8. He would take to us as if we were family in a wayy I felt that we were being scolded by him. Non the less the food was good and just had to chalk it all up to an adventure. Even with his nephew running around wanting to sell you tickets on his toy train. Defiantly got that family owned feeling :"

"My wife ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was very hard and rubbery. It looked like the fish was too frozen when it was fried, so it didn’t even cook at all. The waitress was very nice and apologetic and got the manager that was on. The manager offered for a fresh plate or to order something else. My wife declined as she lost her appetite. The manager then offered a side of fries, which my wife agreed to. It would have been a decent experience except when the bill came, we were charged for the side of fries. We were kind of taken aback since we thought it was to make up for lack of entree. We didn’t say anything, just paid the bill and left. Overall, we felt like the waitress cared a lot more than the manager. The waitress’ service was great; the way the manager approached us and handled the situation is why we will no longer go here."
