"Its a very pricy and overrated Indian restaurant with average taste (especially for vegetarian options . Salt was less in all the 4 dishes we ordered Hara bara kabab, Cauliflower 65, Methi chaman veg gravy (24$ and biryani. Even the chutney/onion thatwe ask for the starters has to be purchased. I heard from the people that the ambience was fabulous but I felt it was OK! Thereare many other indian restaurants with better ambience in NJ. The only attraction of this restuarant was the Robos, that bringsthe food to our table. Btw, I am the big fan of Deccan spice at Jersey city, ignoring the ambience."

"Modest in size with three rows of two person tables pushed together tables in middle and some in windows. Tables against walls on right as you enter are four person tables with high cushions, whereas on left side they were two person tables with high back bench cushioned bench seats facing out with regular wood chairs on outer part of table. Prices are decent compared to other nearby Indian restaurants. Not ADA accessible. Street parking only. Progressive Indian music over speakers. Only three staff and kitchen staff present. Service is laid back but when they are slow it is good. It appears a place for local Indian community rather than tourists. Maybe during work hours it changes. I was here at 6PM on a Wednesday 2023 and there were plenty of tables available with no wait. Flickering mining lanterns for ambience. Clean location. Bar in back of this narrow location. Bon appetite! Carson"

"Good Indian food. I recommend call them directly to order delivery or preferably eat at the restaurant. Chicken Tikka and Yellow Dal very nicely done. I called them and ordered. As close as possible (in the US to get) authentic Indian food at decent prices. Owner was courteous and went out of the way to ensure we got hot food delivered and followed every possible request on spices etc. Definitely ordering again."

"We enjoyed the unlimited vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis at this restaurant, and both were fantastic! Each thali included 3-4 curries, cut green chilies, poori, naan, masala idli, sambhar, rasam, fish curry, goat curry, mixed vegetable curry, mango dal, palak paneer, mutton biryani or gongura pulav, and gulab jamun. The standout dish for us was the haleem! The vegetarian curries were delightful, while the non-vegetarian options were flavorful and had a medium spice level. This is the best thali we've tried in the Herndon area, and the customer service was exceptional. The staff was very accommodating, frequently checking in to see if we needed any refills, all while wearing smiles!"

I visited this place a few times and tried both veg non veg food both cuisine where fantastic. Dine in is limited, but you will not regret. Pahadi murgh kababab and murgh kali mirch we? Chicken dum biryani best in Nj Makko Di Roti Sarshon ka Sag , veg panner dum biryani, Jeera chili aloo, Chole Punjabi, Panner Kurchan , Dahi wale kabab also liked it. This place rarely serves RUMALI Roti today in the Indian restaurant. Loved there fast and approached service. Eat spicy, make them spices like you like. Make sure you don't have any problems the next day? Do not judge according to his position and appearance. (BYOB)"

"Order never arrived on time, no matter how much earlier it was ordered. I literally ordered before 1 hour and after reaching the place at the pick up time, they made me wait for 15 more minutes to give my food. This is ridiculous and you guys definitely have to work on this. People order in advance to cut the wait time and what’s the point of ordering them before? Do you really care of your customers time? If so please respect it and work on your time management. It happened to me several times and each time I have to make sure I have my order ready reaching there.. this means you guys only start working on the order after someone reaches the place?Note: restaurant is not busy at all for dine ins to assume it took them a while to work on mine.Very disrespectful!!!!!"

"Okay first of all, anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars probably puts ketchup on their steak. With that said, this food is literally top notch. It's incredible. I get the chicken tikka masala everytime with the chicken Tikka Naan, delicious is not even enough to describe this food. And I normally always have to order it from grubhub, and it still comes hot and delicious. I would love to try it fresh someday. I have had a phone conversation with the owner when ordering, and he is extremely polite and just seems like an awesome person. He helped describe things to me, didn't rush me and made sure I knew all about the food I was ordering. Top notch guy and top notch food. Eat here. Oh, and if the price kinda throws you off just know that the portion sizes are massive. If you look at the photo I posted you will understand. This is more than enough for 2 people."

"I recently ordered Uthappam from Spice Venue along with other dishes. I have been ordering from this restaurant out of necessity, as there are not many options for Indian food nearby. While I do acknowledge that they have a few good items on their menu, I have noticed inconsistencies in their preparation. However, today I received a dosa instead of the Uthappam that I ordered. When I called to address the issue, a person named Bharani was rude and unapologetic, stating that this is how their chef prepares it and if I don't like it, I should stop ordering from them. This lack of consideration for the customer speaks volumes about the restaurant. This is not the first time they have made mistakes with my order, but today I felt the need to speak up. The attitude of the restaurant is disgusting, as they seem to care very little about the customer experience. I have always been patient due to the pandemic, but today I had enough. I had to confront them about their dishonesty and ask them to stop misleading customers with false information."

"Ambiance was decent and wait staff was good. Other than that nothing else I can say positively bout this placeOur meals were luke warm, blend and some of the sides had no taste to them whatsoever. While they have a bar and there own cocktails if you ask for something not on the menu, u probably wont get it. And yes, unfortunately even the cocktail drinks we did order tasted horrible. Bad bar staff..On top of all this, it took them almost an hour for them to bring our food out. Two kids meals, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least.Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area."

"We went because we were craving soup due to this unpredictable weather we are having in New York City. It's June and currently we are having low 50s for night time. I mean my house hearing system came on, so I decided why not go for soup and drums of heaven The restaurant is nice and service is quiet good but their Thai Tom Yum soup was quiet horrible and Drums of heaven was good but not great Last but not least I tried their Thai Ice Tea, which was pretty good"

"I went to this spot for lunch and I ordered my lunch via the internet. I ordered the vegetable kolhapuri and it cost $13.93. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. When I checked in it said I could get 10% off but one of the men that worked there said they didn't honor it and walked away which was rude. Another man came from the back and asked me if I was ordering and I said I was picking up and I told him my name. He said give it 10 more minutes. He was really nice ablut it. After a while he bought the food out and I left. When I got home I ate and it was just ok. I had to add some seasoning to it to taste but it was filling. All in all it was just an ok experience."

"There was this person standing outside the restaurant and was serving gol gappe. Boy I was surprised to see a person literally serving u gol gappe. Saw this only once in US in New Jersey before. The price was $10 for 8 pieces but it was worth it. Asked him for a good place to eat lunch and he recommended the place he was standing in front of( as expected). Went in and ordered chole bhature and aalo tikki chaat.Chole bhature were good but aalo tikki was dry. It had loads of chutney and yoghurt but still felt dry on the palate.5 stars for the gol gappe but not more than 3 for the food served inside.Host was very friendly and I liked the way he treated the customers.Maybe next time , we would try more dishes and get better taste."

"The chaats were disappointing. The papdi chaat was lacking nearly every spice, resulting in a bland and soggy dish. There was barely a hint of yogurt, and the sweet chutney was more sour than sweet, missing any spice or chili flavor. The Gobi Manchurian resembled a large cauliflower tree (it's important to break down the florets and crisp them up), and it was soggy as well! Surprisingly, the flavor was better than its appearance suggested. The samosa chaat was decent—while not exactly gourmet, it did have some identifiable flavors. However, it lacked the crispy edges typical of samosas and resembled more of a potato patty than a proper samosa, making it feel more like an aloo patty chaat instead. As for the vegetable biryani, I can't comment since they forgot to include it and asked me to return in person for a credit or to pick it up again. The paneer was average as well—nothing special, and while the cubes were soft, the curry was rather ordinary. The naan, on the other hand, was simply undercooked and felt raw."

"I am leaning more toward 3.5 stars on this one. Lunch buffet is about $20 per person. You get access to some curries, rice, some dishes, and a few desserts. The naan is brought fresh to your table. You can opt for garlic naan. Price point is really good. Food was good, but I wasn 't so impressed with it. The best thing here was the tandoori chicken. It was juicy and flavorful. I def went for more than one! The garlic naan was a bit off though. I feel like they use a different ingredient, maybe it 's the flour? I 'm not an Indian food expert, but sadly it was not to my liking. The service is good. They regard you as sir or ma 'am . Plenty of parking here. It 's just off Rosemead on the I-10 freeway. Bathroom available. Credit card accepted."

"We had a great experience at the new restaurant that has taken over Wild Mirchi. Our group included nine adults and three children, and everyone was delighted with our visit. The food was incredibly tasty! We enjoyed every dish we ordered and left our plates completely empty. The service was outstanding, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. We’re really glad we chose to check out this new place—it was fantastic!"

"I was only given a day's notice to find catering for our work Thanksgiving celebration, and everyone had agreed that we wanted Indian, Nepalese, or Tibetan food for lunch. I was concerned about finding a place that could accommodate such a last-minute request. To my pleasant surprise, Everest Cuisine was able to take our order with just 24 hours’ notice. Not only was the food outstanding, but the customer service I received while placing the order was exceptional. Everything was packaged beautifully, and nothing spilled during my 20-minute drive back to the office! I had never tried this restaurant before, and I am thrilled with the level of care, delicious food, and excellent service provided. I can't wait to dine in with my family soon— the atmosphere in the dining area was lovely."

"**Meal Type:** Lunch **Price Range:** $20–30 **Food Rating:** 2/5 **Service Rating:** 4/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 4/5 During my recent lunch at this restaurant, I found the atmosphere quite inviting and well-maintained, earning it a solid rating of 4 out of 5. The service was equally commendable, with the staff being attentive and friendly, also warranting a 4 out of 5. However, the food fell short of expectations, receiving a disappointing rating of just 2 out of 5. I had the Chicken Biryani and Masala Dosa, both of which lacked the flavors and quality I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the dishes did not live up to the restaurant's ambiance or the friendly service. While I appreciated the dining experience in terms of service and atmosphere, the food did not leave a lasting impression."

"We stopped to eat on our way back from San Francisco, and I have to say, it was a great experience. To start with the highlight, this is perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know that offers complimentary chai (Indian tea with milk), and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered chole bhatura (fried Indian bread served with chickpeas), and it was excellent. We also tried pav bhaji (bread served with a spicy Indian vegetable curry), which was decent. Overall, I would rate this place 5 out of 5 because the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was impressively fast–only 15 minutes!"

"Me and my family have been eating at this restaurant ever since we moved into this area five years ago. My daughter absolutely ADORES their Biriyani and it’s became a comfort food to her as she grows up. However, there has been a recent plummet in the service and food quality at this branch. We’ve eaten at other branches and none of them seem to be having this problem. First, the food’s edibility fluctuates every day. One day, it’ll be okay, and the next, it’ll be the most horrendous concoction of white rice and flavorless rubber-like lumps that they call chicken. Pray that when you order, it won’t be on a bad day. Sometimes it’s so bad that my daughter (who would probably eat their biriyani for every meal of the every day) begged that we would stop going to the branch. Also, their staff is sometimes unfriendly and unenthusiastic. I get it, it’s not an easy job. Most of them seem to be students and juggling work with a new country AND school is a difficult feat. But some of their workers are borderline disrespectful, showing favoritism to groups that are from their home state or have something in common with them. Please, just fix your management so we can go out for a nice meal."
