Our server was very knowledgable, communicated well, and was great as a server. They do require the entire table to eat the tasting menu if one person orders it. This made our final bill somewhere in the $350 range after 2 tastings $125 each), one canned beer $12), still water $7.50), tax, and gratuity."

"We returned after a few years since our last visits, which we enjoyed. This time, however, the experience was exceptionally better. I remember enjoying the food during our previous visits, but this time, the entire experience was truly memorable. The drinks were beautifully balanced and presented. I appreciated that the bar service runner returned after we had a few sips to check how we liked the drinks—such a nice touch. Our server was friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. We were dining with another couple celebrating their birthdays, and we sampled a variety from the menu, including starters, traditional dishes, wood-fired items, tacos, snacks, and dessert. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience."

"Wanted to love this place based on other reviews and beautiful view. Met my two adult children for lunch on a long Holiday weekend. Beautiful surroundings but not a great experience . Service was very slow, both a long wait for a waiter, long wait for non alcoholic drinks and water and then super long wait for food. Food was average beautifully presented but luke warm at best (as if it hadn 't been reheated long enough or had been sitting waiting especially long at wherever it had been prepared). Finally took at least 20 minutes to pay and that was after tracking the waiter down from across the dining space ! Probably better for drinks/coffee/tea or when you have at least 1 1/2 2 hours for a lite lunch. Again, didn 't hate it and magnificent view, but felt like it needed a lot more attention to detail. Won 't be back."

"My husband and I had been here before and liked it a lot. Because of that, we decided to take our son and his wife to dinner there for our joint anniversaries. Everything was great at first and went downhill after that. 1) Ordered a specialty drink, they didn’t have it 2) we waited over 20 minutes for our main course 3) there was a weird vibe in the atmosphere or maybe I should say No vibe. 4) I live in Greenwich and there are a lot of restaurants I would rate higher. Especially for the amount we paid. Sorry, I went in thinking we were in for a treat and left disappointed and thinking, “ That was an odd dinner”"

"I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS LOCATION THEY TREAT ME LIKE FAMILY. I am an avid strater and have been coming here every Wednesday for a few months now. Not sure why Wednesday but my favorite group of staff (EVAN,DIEGO, and BRIAN) seems to work this day. I’m not sure if it’s to see me but that’s what they make it feel like every time I come here. I have had the pleasure to get to know these individuals, and whether or not they knew I was having a bad day that day they always made my day a lot brighter. I always sit in the corner booth to the right and it’s even gotten to the point when I reserve on open table and walk in they have it reserved for me. How lucky could I be! I always order the Mimi’s meatballs for a starter and get the penne alla vodka add mushrooms red pepper flakes and shrimp. Trust me if you try this you won’t regret. I also add for extra sauce on the side because I like it saucy! I pair my meal with a recommended red wine usually a 2016-2017 red. I pair it with the tiramisu or the cannoli for dessert. I cannot forget my expression martini that’s one of my favorite parts, Diego actually recommended this item my first time and I have made it a staple every time. If you want a place you can come alone, and not feel alone or come with a group or a date. This is the place. I’ve done all three and they haven’t disappointed or made me feel like a burden. Thank you for making my days!"

"I came here for my birthday last year 2021) with my out-of-town) family and we all really enjoyed it. They even brought out our dessert with a candle on it. So I took my friend who was visiting here, since she had been complaining how disappointing thefood experience) in Chicago had been. We didn?t make a reservation did not have the best experience with the wait. Anyway,we got seated after ~45 minutes and ordered our food. We got Orecchiette, Spicy Scampi, Spaghetti, and Tiramisu. I liked thefood and I was really satisfied and as for my friend, she thought it was okay but better than the other places we had beento! I really liked the lights decoration inside the restaurant. The lighting was dark inside and the noise level was quiteloud; nevertheless, I had a great time with my friend and we both enjoyed the ambiance."

"There are some vegan options in Woodinville, so this is a good option to have. You have several vegan options. They are not marked on the paper menus, but are marked clearly on the online menu, so make sure to check. The ambience is beautiful, the service was good when we went, they have many outdoor seating, and it is dog friendly. We got the avocado salad (which was my favorite thing), classic broschetta, truffleries (no parm), and vegan pizza. The food presentation was beautiful and the food was fresh and of good quality. We lacked a taste. This is my only complaint. Maybe a bit more salt, garlic oil, truffle oil, vinegar, etc. would help. But overall it was good and a beautiful experience so that we would return. "I cannot recommend this restaurant, based on the food quality, poor value, and smoky atmosphere. I feel bad for the staff (who were polite), as it was obvious they were short staffed and overworked. The host was very nice, and so was our waiter, but she didn’t check on us very often. That was likely because they had her assigned to so many tables. The food was slightly below Carrabbas-level quality, but at double the price. A dinner for two (with tip), with one drink each, a small app, and two entrees will set you back a little more than $100. The entrees are small portions and the food was just okay. Also keep in mind the menu on OpenTable may be out of date (the Cello Drop cocktail is no longer on their menu). The atmosphere was loud and cigar smoke permeated the air. Unfortunately the restaurant is above a cigar shop and so that smell was pretty much everywhere. The layout is also strange and there appears to be other restaurants connected to it as we’d see servers bringing trays of sushi to other areas obscured by a thick black curtain. Just bizarre."

"Best live music in all of New York City. Good food (small portions though). Decent drinks. Good crowd. Worst disorganized rude customer service, even on a less busy night. I made the decision to dine here based on the location of the seating. After we were seated by the waitress, we were forced by the manager to move and sit with strangers, in the front row right next to the drums. Meal came, and no silverware or napkins were given. I asked the waitress to tip the band on my tab and let the band know, and she didn't let them know.My waitress had no clue what she was doing. The manager was extremely rude when I tried to express my concerns, and at one point called me a liar. The owner was nice, explained the reasoning, yet was unapologetic about my experience. I understand why the poor experience, and maybe it was just poor communication. But the cluelessness by the waitress, and the rudeness by the manager are not acceptable.If you can put up with their poor service, then come here for the band, the food, and the drinks."

"I also understand the expression that pizza dough is hard. Tough like chewing rubber Some might describe it as chewy, but I ate Joe's Pizza yesterday and Julianna today. Juliana Hack No Flavor Joe's Pizza dough is crispy on the outside, but I personally think Joe's tastes better. It's good for two people because they can get in faster than other groups. The toilet seems to clog often. no answer I think it was opened by an employee, but after a few people used it, it got blocked again, so I ended up going to Time Out Market."

Wait services was very good helpful and friendly. The restaurant is lively and initially was a bit too noisy for our tastes, but after seating noise wasn't an issue. The food was very good and as described in the menu. The portions and prices seem reasonable and we'll be coming back in the future."

"The ambience was beautiful. We sat outside in the nicely decorated patio. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We didnât hear from our server very much at all. It took too long to even be greeted and have our order taken. Food came out way before the cocktails. It seemed other tables were priority vs our table for two. Our server was pleasant but it just didnât go smoothly and that left our much anticipated experience at such a unique looking and lovely restaurant a bit of a let down."

"We live next door to Alta Strada and have been there a number of times. When I made the reservation (seven adults one 9 year old) I told them that this was a birthday celebration for six of us who had birthdays that week. The big one (we had balloons and a cake) was my wife’s 70th birthday. I called in advance, told the manager of our upcoming celebration and asked for a particular table. I was told “no problem“. Yet, we were seated in a completely different area. Kenny was our server. He was wonderful; but he was somewhat unsure of the menu and and other things since it was only his second day working at the restaurant. I don’t understand why you would assign a rookie to a large party, particularly one that chose your restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. But, his service was fine. Our food was good. But I must say, the portions are getting smaller and smaller. And through (I believe) no fault of our server, my wife’s meal was missed and ended up coming out significantly after ours were served. Finally, knowing that the restaurant management (that I had spoken to) was on site, and with balloons high in the air to show where we were sitting, how is it that no one other than our gracious server Kenny stopped by to wish us well and ask how things were. I’m sure we’ll eat at the restaurant again, but we’ll plan all our special event get togethers elsewhere."

"I hate having to write this review, but we waited an hour and twenty minutes to get 3 very basic dishes. The restaurant was nearly empty. Once the food arrived it was bland with little flavor. I also ordered a Pinot Grigio and was brought a super buttery Chardonnay. Unsure if that was an honest mistake or a decision made at the bar with the hopes I wouldn’t notice."
