"The food was delicious, especially the new spicy chicken sandwich. I have no complaints about my experience at this restaurant. Thank you, Zaxby's, for your great service! However, I did find it puzzling that children are not allowed here. While we were dining, a group of high school track and field athletes came in and placed their orders without any issues. As for parking, there were plenty of available spaces, and accessibility was straightforward. Overall, it was a great visit!"

"I love the food here. I swear the chicken has such a terrific flavor that is very unique to Zaxby's. I enjoy multiple things from the menu. Salads, sandwiches, chicken; whatever you get, you'll enjoy. The drink machine is amazing and makes buying a drink worth it in any regard. I wish more places had that drink machine. The staff are friends and make sure any mistakes are amended. The only downside, that I ever notice, is the price of the food. It's a little much to me, but it's good food."

"Went to pick up my online order. Went to the counter to advise the cashier I'm there to pick up my order. I observed a group just standing around and talking. I stood there with no greeting for atleast 10 minutes. One employee turned around and asked me what I needed. I stated I was there for my online order. The employees turned back around and started resuming their conversation. I saw my order behind the counter. I waited another 10 minutes while they talked. One of the employees in the back stated to the front that I was still standing there. The employees turned around and asked again what I needed. I again explained I had a order online and pointed to my food behind the counter. They just stood there. One employee finally grabbed my order. My food was cold by that time I didn't care. Will not visit this establishment again. Also during the time I was standing there, I was the only person waiting."

"The Sylva location of Zaxby's is a joke. Don't go if you actually expect fast service. My fiance and I like to get salads from here for lunch every once in a while and it doesn't matter what time of day or how many people are in front of you, you are guaranteed to waste close to 30 minutes or more trying to get through the drive thru. Today I got there at 1:50pm and there were 2 cars in front of me in the line. One was sitting at the order menu and I heard the employee on the speaker ask them to wait a moment. After sitting there for 10 minutes, the car in front of me left. After 15 minutes, the car at the menu was finally able to order and I pulled up and was also asked to wait a moment. I sat there for another 10 minutes and finally gave up. That is the longest I have ever waited with such a short line and I only waited that long because the line was so short I did not imagine it would take that long. I also heard a lot of loud voices coming from the back of the store and thought it sounded like possible arguing or something and after waiting that long I decided the food probably wouldn't be worth eating anyway. No other fast food places take as long as Zaxby's does. I understand a lot of places are short handed and I try to be understanding and patient but that was just ridiculous today. It is pretty slow most of the time anyway but today was the worst I've ever seen and it wasn't even busy."

"Second time I've driven through with a craving for fried chicken. When ordering I repeatedly stressed I did not want chicken tenders but the bone-in pieces. "So I went through the drive-through to order a single sandwich combo. They were three cars ahead of me each one was able to make it through the entire line within about 90 seconds. Once I arrive to the window I paid for my meal and was instructed to pull forward to wait. After paying for my mail and pulling for it I waited an additional 17 minutes. "I had a great first experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the convenient pick-up option. My order was ready, and all the extras (dressings, utensils, sauces) were already in the bag waiting for me. I didn't interact much with the staff since I didn't need anything and they were busy attending to other customers. The inside wasn't as crowded as the drive-thru. I also found the prices to be quite reasonable for a six-piece chicken tender meal, a Zaxby House Salad, and two nibblers. However, I wasn't a fan of the nibblers; the bread was so hard! It was basically a chicken tender on a small toasted bun, but it didn't meet my expectations. On the bright side, I did enjoy the sauce that came with it. Overall, I will definitely give Zaxby’s another try."

"We love coming to this location. The staff is always kind and friendly and the food is always delicious. Sometimes the drive through line is really long but that's just because the food is so good! It's also one of the few fast food restaurants where I prefer to eat inside. Their dining area is very spacious and clean. One of our favorite places to eat for sure!"

"I called to place a catering order this evening and was greeted by a person by the name of Allen(who claims to be the GM) but refused to take my catering order. He claimed that he had closed the registers for the night, which was 15 minutes before the posted store hours. If thats the case, why even answer the phone? After I expressed my dissatisfaction with his decision to refuse conducting business with me it resulted in a rather sour impression of the Zaxby 's brand. I have always wished that there were more Zaxby 's locations available in my area because the catering delivers the ultimate value. The sad part is that I actually get excited when I have the opportunity to provide Zaxby 's for the office lunches that I host. What even more unfortunate is that a loyal customer of over 10 years may be lost due to pride. From the General Manager??? I assume that I should expect the rest of the staff at the Overland Park location to follow Allen 's lead and deliver the same level of service. I submitted a formal complaint to their website and received a callback from the Assistant Manager apologizing on behalf of his GM. Mentioned that he isn 't surprised about what he was hearing.... Indicating to me that this likely isn 't one of the first incidents with his boss . Said I would receive a call from the regional director about this incident. I have yet to receive said communication. Either someone 's pride is hurt, or they just don 't care about preserving their local relationships. I recommend finding a different Zaxby 's or a completely different establishment if you want quality."

"Id like to start by saying I’ve always enjoyed Zaxby’s, and felt most locations take fairly good care their customers as well as supply good food to the general public. However If I could rate this location any lower than one star I absolutely would. I am typically pretty patient, but this particular location tends to get to my last nerve as their hours are all over the place. Sometimes they’re open sometimes they’re not. They are almost never open during the posted hours online or the hours listed on the physical building. I live nearby and the past FIVE months I’ve stopped by many times to get food (at decent business hours for a restaurant if I may add, you know, such as lunch and dinner time) and I have only ever gotten to order twice. I was in the drive through for about 15 minutes this evening and they came to apologize as they close at seven (I was in line before 7 and they came out to tell me this before 7 as well)… again not the same time posted on this location OR online. They don’t bother to finish off their line, or even correct their hours. I understand COVID has put many businesses at a deficit of employees, but it is absolutely no way to run a business to not have proper hours posted on the building and for them to change so consistently sporadic as they are at this location. At this point, my wife and I have completely disregarded this location as an option any time we are looking for a place to grab food as we assume they won’t be open after we get off work (we have stopped many times after work at 5 and they have been closed)."

"We were looking for a place to have dinner late at night (around 8:30) and wanted to avoid the usual fast food options. After discovering this chain was open until 11, we decided to give it a try. Our group ordered a variety of items, including chicken tenders, a grilled chicken sandwich, a Cajun chicken sandwich, and two types of Buffalo wings (sweet heat and their most popular flavor, tongue torment). While the fries weren’t as crispy as I would have liked, they were still quite tasty. I appreciated the toast as a nice alternative to standard rolls, and everyone enjoyed the chicken. It was a refreshing change from typical fast food fare. However, the highlight of our experience was the wonderful young lady who assisted us with our order. She was sweet and personable and made an extra effort to ensure we received excellent service. Milaya was fantastic!"
