"I was quite disappointed with my experience at Chicago Health Foods. I visited for lunch and ordered the Amish Chicken Sandwich. When I unwrapped my sandwich, I honestly thought they were joking. The amount of chicken and toppings was less than half of what you’d expect from a typical sandwich. At $10.99, you’re essentially paying for a very small portion. The sandwich itself didn’t impress me; you can find better value and taste at almost any other sandwich shop in the city. While I was waiting for my order, I overheard another customer complaining about the $9 price of her guacamole. An employee explained it was “freshly made,” but so is the guac at Chipotle for only $3. Besides the food, I found the protein shakes to be no better than those from Protein Bar. Overall, this place is significantly overpriced, and I would not recommend it."
