"We so looked forward to trying this place their website states that they are open for dinner starting at 5 pm! Well here we sit this uptown cafe isnt open at all! How lazy do you have to be to not alert the dining public that your operation is closed, has changed its hours/days open, etc? I doubt we will give them another opportunity after this incompetent failure."

"Annie's is a lovely family style restaurant that I go to regularly because they serve liver and onions (the only place in town that does, I believe). You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner whenever they are open (which is not Mondays, be aware). The COVID conscious will be glad to know that the restaurant has very high ceilings so it feels extra spacious please still wear your masks when you're not at your table! Enjoy the amazing array of collectibles featuring Coca Cola and other soft drinks of yesterday and today."

"We were traveling through on our way to California and needed to stop for the night. I made a reservation on the road and arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. Our hostess was extremely kind and personable and got us seated right away. It's a lovely, historic building with lots of character. Our server was prompt, and attentive. Though it was an hour before closing time, our food was delicious and hot! My husband and I both ordered steaks, all entrees come with soup and salad, bread, one side and a scoop of ice cream. Both of steaks were seasoned well, cooked exactly to order, and so tender! Everything else was prepared well and also delicious. I definitely recommend this place and will stop again if traveling through!"

"This is a cute little cafe that serves mostly sandwiches and salads. It is located in historic uptown Butte. Even though the waitress was really busy and getting overwhelmed, she acknowledged us quickly and got our food to us fairly quickly. I had the salmon salad with the green goddess dressing, and it was honestly the best salad and dressing I have ever had! Next time I am in Butte, I definitely will return to the Hummingbird Cafe and get the salmon salad again!"

"A very mediocre restaurant. The inside is really nice clean w/ modern decor. Staff is friendly, although we were told that they no longer offer coloring for the kids to preserve their tables. Considering they market themselves as a family restaurant, that was very disappointing. Their coffee was ass. Very thin watery. No milk substitutes are offered. Most food items were passable. Hashbrowns were crispy mostly tasty. Eggs were overcooked. Pancakes were rubbery. I asked if they used maple syrup the waitress said yes but it was clearly more like Aunt Jemima or Log Cabin. The difference is obvious discernable. They offer muffins as a side for an additional $1.50 (which wasn 't clear to me at the time of ordering). It would have helped if the waitress had mentioned this when ordering because it turns out the muffins aren 't baked in house. They 're generic Sysco type muffins. We couldn 't even eat them, they were so dissapointing. $3.00 down the drain. Not worth the money. The only redeemable offering was their bacon which was FIRE! Crispy salty just the way I like it. As a quick place to stop because nothing else is open, it 's fine. Just avoid the coffee, muffins, eggs pancakes."
