"Mediocre service, felt a bit ignored. Ordered the pizza and we asked for it well done and it was not very hot. Should have sent it back. Also asked for red pepper from the server. Never received it he just took care of other guests. I will say the manager did bring it over and apologized and offered to make us a new pizza but we declined. Finally our main courses came. I ordered the octopus. I couldn't even chew it enough to swallow. I sent that back again with the manager because the waiter although very nice was no where to be found. I just ordered a salad which was just ok. Husbands had ribs. He did enjoy those and it was a nice portion. As a family we were sadly disappointed as it came highly recommended."

"I am not sure how this place is rated this high. I am leaving this review to warn people not to eat here. Food had no flavor and the flavor it did have was off putting as it tasted the food was old. My fiancee had two beard hairs in her chick peas. We did not bring it to the attention of staff for at this point we did not want any more. I immediately had GI upset after eating there food and had to rush home. Ate at 1000's of places and the area around this place is rich in good food. Try something else and save yourself ! I simply leave this review to let people know this place is by no way a 4.8/5 and makes me think the reviews are fake!"

"Please stop changing the menu, Maman! The bread for the sandwiches is really hard and crumbly, making it quite a mess to eat. The chicken salad isn't your strong suit either; it’s rather mediocre. The place still has a charming atmosphere, but the menu and the bread need some improvement. I also had a much cuter experience at other Maman locations compared to this one on 25th Street. This location is a bit smaller and louder, and they serve food in plain clear glasses and plastic cups instead of the adorable blue dishware. It just doesn’t live up to my initial experience."

"I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza with a Neapolitan crust and some garlic bread. The pizza was decent—neither outstanding nor bad—but it was a bit dry for my taste. However, the crust was excellent. I was really let down by what this restaurant calls garlic bread. Their version consists of sliced and toasted baguette pieces brushed with oil and a hint of garlic flavor, which was not what I anticipated. I was expecting something more like garlic rolls or something similar. I would definitely suggest steering clear of the garlic bread."

"We were curious to try this place since it was on restaurant week and seemed to offer some tasty bites. The place was pretty okay for a restaurant attached to a hotel. The prices were definitely over the top for the value of the food. Through restaurant week, it was affordable other than that it was not. My friends were sure to tell the server it was my birthday and he didn’t even say happy birthday which I found odd. Seemed like he really didn’t want to be there. Food was tasty but I would probably never go back"

"Run. Abort. Horrible Shrimp was chewy, You also only two pieces of pita, rice tasted like too much saffron, the tsaziki sauce wasnt in a separate container so it flew all over the meal. Horrible food, horrible presentation honestly. I never write reviews but this was $27 thrown in the trash as the food wasnt Edible. Seriously. It was that bad. It does not even come close the Greek restaurant, souvlaki Fast on Spanish river and federal. I should have verified. Their shrimp is grilled, ricke is white iwithbveggies, a whole pita wrapped in foil and the dressings and sauce are on the side. Same price. Ugh."

"most bakeries have 0-1 vegan items, so why bother? this is different. rise has approx. 4-6 vegan items. that's not stellar, but it's nice. their attention to food restrictions means that they know that these vegan causes are vegan. it's beautiful. they mark objects as soya free, nut-free, egg-free and milk-free with a color-coded system. the selection ranges from muffins and fast broths to bars and cupcakes. the baked goods are not bad, and they don't taste terrible. they do not taste phenomenal. However, they will not leave when they go with their friends and are gluten-free. it is a beautiful place to support so go on and buy vegan (gluten-free! at this 100% gluten-free bakery. the more people who demand vegans. the more vegan choice it will be!"
