"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and in the words of my colleagues: "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."

"When a restaurant makes a mistake, and sometimes they will, how they rectify the situation can determine whether a patron returns to that establishment or not... Or in my case, if the reviewer will recommend others try said restaurant. Thanks to the efforts of our server Jacqueline (who was phenomenal all night) and her manager Allison, "Waterman Grille" is a very good establishment that sincerely cares about their customers. My wife and I had ordered the crab cake appetizer to split before our main course, but we noticed after one bite each that the middle of each crab cake was cold. We mentioned it to Jackie, who was genuinely sorry and took our plates away. Her manager Allison came to our table apologizing profusely, and had the kitchen prepare us a brand new order... Free of charge! The new order was perfect, & the rest of our dinner was wonderful. I enjoyed my pork chop with shredded red cabbage and johnnycake, while my wife was very pleased with her broiled codfish with broccoli rabe. We were each given a small glass of limoncello as an aperitif before our French Press coffee and desserts. Great service, a sincere desire to please (especially by our server Jackie, THANKS SO MUCH!!), a nice view of the Seekonk River... The next time we visit the Providence area, we'll be back!"

"I met some friends to this place and it's great. we had a wonderful time here. it's pretty busy so I totally understand that our food and drinks have not come to us for one thing. I warn that when they come during the working time, some delays await the next. Otherwise, the pricing on the cheaper end and the alcohol selection is excellent."

"Definitely one of my top 5 Japanese restaurants in San Jose! After being stationed in Japan for two years I miss and crave the authenticity of Japanese culture Sushi Masa definitely delivers. The food is delicious, a great sake variety, the staff is all very kind and warm and friendly! You get greeted as soon as you walk in by all the staff and thanked the same way before leaving which is something else I miss from the country. The decor makes me feel like I'm back at my local restaurant in town in Okinawa. Faith was an excellent server! We will be back soon!"

Walk inside and immediately feel like you're in a Tokyo neighborhood restaurant. Hungry for sushi? Look elsewhere. "I discovered this small Japanese restaurant by chance as I was passing by, and the lively crowd caught my attention. Intrigued, I decided to go in and sample their offerings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the experience was a culinary treasure. Despite its size, the restaurant had a cozy charm that added to the overall atmosphere. The diverse crowd, comprising locals and enthusiasts, spoke volumes about the popularity of the place. The menu featured a wide range of Japanese dishes, and I couldn't resist embarking on a culinary journey. From the moment I took my first bite, it was clear that this eatery had perfected the art of Japanese cuisine. The flavors were authentic and left a lasting impression on my palate. Each dish displayed a meticulous attention to detail, showing that the chefs took pride in their work. Despite the bustling environment, the staff managed to deliver excellent service. Their efficiency and friendliness enhanced the overall positive experience. The genuine food and warm hospitality combined to create a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, stumbling upon this hidden gem was a lucky find. If you appreciate authentic Japanese cuisine and enjoy intimate settings, this restaurant is a must-visit. It proves that great things often come in small packages."

"The space is very small, but it worked well for us; however, we did have to take our youngest out. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. My 10-year-old son absolutely loves the chicken fried rice, and the portions are generous. The others ordered various rolls, and I tried the rainbow roll, which was also good. Overall, we highly recommend PJ Sushi."

"Came here for a girls night and it was fabulous! The place was pretty empty since we came close to closing and it was about degrees out. We had a little bit of everything. The spicy miso soup and garden salad were yummy. The udon noodles and chicken teriyaki plate were very fresh and a great portion, just enough for a little bit of leftovers! We had the dragon roll, California maki, and a crab roll sorry not good with sushi names but it was all good and you could tell was fresh. Our waitress was so kind and patient with our large group. Can’t wait to come back"

"The service is generally pleasant, although there seems to be a shortage of staff, which leads to a focus on larger groups while smaller parties are attended to as needed. Despite this, the staff is quite attentive. However, it’s noticeable that some servers seem to circulate between the same tables, which can be a bit off-putting. In terms of food presentation and taste, the offerings here are impressive, standing out even compared to other locations. The tuna roll is well-balanced, with the right amount of rice and tuna, emphasizing quality over quantity. The squid balls are cooked perfectly on the inside, a feat that many restaurants struggle with. Unlike others that may serve undercooked, cold, or soggy versions, these are baked to a delightful finish. However, they did lose some of their initial flavor intensity over time outside the oven, which detracted slightly from the experience. The nacho sushi is a unique creation, bursting with flavors and complemented by a tangy sauce that adds a nice touch to the dish. Overall, this restaurant is a standout option for sushi lovers seeking a relaxing place to dine."

"Is there truly any Japanese restaurant in Massachusetts that serves real shabu shabu? Most Asian restaurants that are offering sushi and shabu shabu are Chinese owned and actually serving hot pot. Akai Ryu is no different when you see the selection of soup bases, proteins and veggies. The sushi and hot pot were good, actually better than Ten-ichi in Natick or Tokyo at Chestnut Hill Mall. One thing that really sets them apart is the rotating conveyor of small colored plates with all sorts of foods you can pick from to cook in your hot pot. Each color represent a set dollar amount for that plate and white was a freebie the night we went. This provided a lot of variety and not having to stick to the set menu if you just wanted for example king oyster mushroom and didn't want to order the whole plate of exotic mushrooms. Remember you can ask them to split the hot pot in half if you want to try 2 different soup bases. We usually do one spicy and the other regular to balance out the heat. This Cambridge restaurant has parking in the back which is an added bonus, but is conveniently located across from Porter Square station on red line."

"Facebook, you asked for my thoughts on Taisho Bistro, and I’m more than happy to share! Taisho is not just my favorite Japanese restaurant in Western New York; it’s my favorite restaurant in the entire city. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the menu features such a wide array of options that you could dine here a hundred times and still try something new every visit. Be sure to sample the Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Katsudon, and Omu Rice—there's no other Japanese restaurant in town that can compete with what they offer. As an Izakaya (bar-grill), you can expect a great selection of drinks, and Taisho certainly delivers on that front. They have an extensive choice of beers, sake, cocktails, spirits, and more, ensuring there’s something for everyone. What truly brings me back, though, is the exceptional service. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home and never rushes you. See you again soon, Taisho!"

"I came to know about Mori Sushi from yelp event and drove there to get some sushi experience. The maps will bring you to the back parking lot and this place has an ample of parking spaces. Restaurant is on the street side so if you take turn for parking before the restaurant than don't be confused as there is no board in the back but the right side of the place mentions reserved parking. When you enter the place you will see waiting area and that place can sit 4 people and there is a reception inside the door where you will meet the courteous staff. The place inside is not very big but has a very pleasing feeling. There are outdoor options too but due to winter time I think outdoor is closed. I tried vegetarian sushi and spicy tuna sushi and both the sushi dishes were fresh and really good. I highly recommend this place if you have sushi cravings."

"the experience in the restaurant as soon as I got a table was fantastic, but they said they did not take online reservations. although I showed them the screenshot of the reservation and time, they wouldn't honor it and I had to wait for over 30 minutes for a table."

"This would have been a fantastic dinner except the moment we sat down the fire alarm was triggered and it persisted for our entire meal (45 minutes) despite staff repeatedly saying the fire department was on their way. We understood there wasn’t anything they could do in terms of the alarm but we were seated directly under the alarm so it was extremely loud and didn’t allow us to talk to each other. They didn’t offer to move us either even though we saw others ask for a new table and they were relocated to a quieter part of the restaurant. Very disappointing experience, especially since the food was great."

"Food is excellent. Sushi chef prepared it nicely as we happen to be the last customers of the night. They close at 10pm, and in Chinatown area...this happens to be the only one open late on a Tuesday evening. It was our last night in San Francisco and decided to hit up Chinatown. The place inside looked decent. Location is accessible anywhere. Towards the end of my dinner, possibly 30minutes before closing, I was rushed by the waiter to hurry up because they were closing. Mind you, my sashimi was delicious and it comes with heavy sticky white rice meaning, I can't just shove it down my throat without choking. Yet, I had to do it. I wanted to be offended, instead I knew they had a long night and wanted to go home. Plus, it was a cultural thing so I get it. But...damn. Hold on. Lemme enjoy this meal, bro."

"For someone who has never had a Japanese BBQ style meal before, the experience was worth it. I was not impressed with the seating arrangements, but it was a Saturday night and I am grateful they were able to seat us (2). I appreciated their Covid safety measures, but I was hoping for a wider menu selection similar to other table top BBQ restaurants. I wish there were more menu options for parties of 2, but this place has received many 4-star reviews so they must be doing something right. On a side note, the sorbet dessert was absolutely fantastic."

"We were craving sushi and started looking for a restaurant nearby that was still open late at night. We came across Toryumon and decided to give it a try. Our waiter was very friendly and patient with all of our questions. We began with the seaweed salad, which was surprisingly delicious even though I'm not a big fan of seaweed. I ordered the Dancing Band Roll, which had tempura and eel with a delicious sauce, and also tried the shrimp tempura rolls. It was my first time trying eel and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. The rolls were great and satisfied my sushi craving. The miso soup was also good, with a delicious broth and fresh ingredients, although the restaurant overall seemed slightly dirty. Despite that, it was a great dinner and I would definitely come back to try more of the rolls on the menu."
