"We were craving sushi and started looking for a restaurant nearby that was still open late at night. We came across Toryumon and decided to give it a try. Our waiter was very friendly and patient with all of our questions. We began with the seaweed salad, which was surprisingly delicious even though I'm not a big fan of seaweed. I ordered the Dancing Band Roll, which had tempura and eel with a delicious sauce, and also tried the shrimp tempura rolls. It was my first time trying eel and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. The rolls were great and satisfied my sushi craving. The miso soup was also good, with a delicious broth and fresh ingredients, although the restaurant overall seemed slightly dirty. Despite that, it was a great dinner and I would definitely come back to try more of the rolls on the menu."

I had a wonderful experience at Toryumon Japanese House. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. My family and I really enjoyed our lunch there. There is a fantastic variety of sushi available at this restaurant. The high quality of the ingredients really stands out and makes it a must-try. I usually have it delivered, but decided to dine in this time and had a positive experience. Our waitress was attentive and extremely friendly. It was a bit busier than we had anticipated, so it wasn't as quiet as we were expecting, but overall it was a great dining spot.

Family went there for dinner last night. The service staff did not seem energized and seemed miserable. No one smiled. It took 10 min to get someone’s attention to come and take our order. Many servers walked by and saw the empty/dirty bowls and plates on our table and just kept walking on. We ended up stacking many plates and left at the corner of the table. The fish was fresh but the sushi rice was underwhelming. The food quality is not on par with other restaurants we had in the NoVa area. When we were done and ready to pay, it again took 10 min to get someone to get us the bill and another 7-8 min to come pick up our credit card. I would avoid this restaurant.
