"The atmosphere was decent, featuring a small, cozy dining space and a waitress who was busy and friendly, albeit a bit curt. We ordered our meals: I had a soup and salad, while my fiancé opted for the quiche of the day and a salad. The prices were outrageous—$29 for an omelet and $11 for soup is excessive! To make matters worse, the prices on the menu we saw online were much lower, so we were caught off guard when we arrived.
As for the food, it was just mediocre. It was underseasoned and served lukewarm. The salad dressing lacked any flavor, and my fiancé found his quiche to be mushy with an unpleasant shrimp taste. Definitely not worth the high prices.
At the end of the meal, we were informed that we couldn’t use the Groupon because we didn’t order two entrees, as stated in the fine print. We were told we should have mentioned it to the waitress so she could guide us on how to order. My fiancé attempted to explain that we noted it in our reservation, assuming they would check it when seating us. The waitress laughed at him and said, "Oh please! I'm not the one who took your reservation!" We were taken aback; she made no effort to understand what he was saying.
In the end, she did apply the value we paid for the Groupon to our meal, but this experience left a sour taste. In summary, the food was mediocre, the service was lacking, and it felt like customers were a low priority at this restaurant. I won’t be spending my money here again."
