"I am an enthusiastic pizza type and Amante is a great pizza place! I always suspect on “gourmet” pizza, how that can mean that they don’t get pizza, but not here – they really have good pizza and good service. Most important for me is crust and cheese crust was crispy outside with some bubbles and good “Chewiness” once bite. Cheese was just enough, but not too much and was the real deal. The ingredients were super fresh- great peppers and the Italian sausage was great!!! Thin cut not balled. We also had a Greek salad and it was super fresh and really good olives and feta cheese. Service was so friendly and attentive and they just do a good job. Our night!!! I promise you you won't be disappointed"

"I always enjoy the food/drinks here and they give you good size portions at good prices. I've been to this place on several occasions and have noticed one sketchy thing on each occasion....African Americans seem to always be seated in the very back room off to the right. EVERY time I've been there this has been the case. I don't want to make the good suffer with the bad because some of the servers are very nice and attentive. Then you have what I believe to be the cooks coming out the kitchen and looking the dining room as well. Idk, I could be tripping but it kinda makes me wonder why this is and nervous."

"As someone who grew up in Dorchester, I can say that Cask Flagon is a refreshing change in a neighborhood filled with tourist traps. They really went out of their way to help me after my ankle surgery. The security staff assisted me with my scooter and broken ankle, and even found me a table on Friday night. The chicken sandwich was the best I've had in a long time, and the fries were perfect. Jose Romero and the team provided exceptional service, for which I'm truly grateful. Cask Flagon is a Boston staple! Big thanks to the security staff for their kindness. Peace!"

"This wasn't the first time receiving bad service from this place. Call and place a pick up order today, no friendly greeting just a HOLD no thank you for calling please hold and when finally picking back up just a rude hello. At this point we should have known better and checked the food before leaving, got all the way home to find out we got the wrong order yet again. We call back the delivery guy answered who was nice hands the phone back to the rude girl. Instead of offering to have it delivered or anything to try to make up for her mistake just ask if we want to drive back. Like I said before this is not the first time this has happened. They show no appreciation for their guest they make no effort to recover from there mistakes. The girl at the counter has no sense of customer service and this will be the last time we give them our business."

"From my first call to place an order for an anniversary party I knew I contacted the right place even before we tasted the pies. Joan was so helpful, didn't rush me and even offered to wrap the pies in ribbon with a happy anniversary message and include a pie server. Joan also made recommendations and told me about their best sellers. We ended up ordering the blueberry/peach, lemon meringue, cherry and pecan. Our family had a hard time choosing our favorite. The crust was flaky and the fruit filling was the perfect consistency. That pecan pie was sweet and decadent and the lemon meringue was perfectly tart and delicious. Thank you to the entire team at Granny's Pie Factory."

"Abbott’s has the best frozen custard I’ve ever had! You can definitely tell that it’s made fresh every day. Their customer service is great too, everyone is always extremely friendly and helpful it’s just an overall enjoyable experience anytime I go in there. They have a really good selection of flavors and topping options too. I also love that they have other desserts you can get there like the frozen bananas and turtles. But the chip wheels are my absolute favorite I always get some to go when I’m there to keep in the freezer at home! I also went to a company event once where Abbott’s was catering and it was the best idea! Everyone loved it and kept talking about how awesome it was. Whenever I have family or friends visiting I make sure I bring them to Abbott’s! Highly recommend!!"
