"As someone who grew up in Dorchester, I can say that Cask Flagon is a refreshing change in a neighborhood filled with tourist traps. They really went out of their way to help me after my ankle surgery. The security staff assisted me with my scooter and broken ankle, and even found me a table on Friday night. The chicken sandwich was the best I've had in a long time, and the fries were perfect. Jose Romero and the team provided exceptional service, for which I'm truly grateful. Cask Flagon is a Boston staple! Big thanks to the security staff for their kindness. Peace!"

Awesome place to enjoy a few drinks literally right across from Fenway Park. Food was really good as well.

Great live music. The beer is severely overpriced, but it's expected in the middle of Fenway. I paid $10 for a bottle of Bud Light.

Fantastic sports vibe! The service was fast, the food was tasty, and the drinks were delightful. We ordered mac and cheese with pulled pork, a burger, and burnt ends with fries. Everything was excellent! View menu

We had a great time at Cask 'n Flagon! They graciously got us seated right away in the midst of a very crowded room full of Red Sox fans before game time. The server was very friendly and prompt and the food was great. I love the Cask 'n Flagon!

We visited on game night and were impressed by how quickly the service was. The food and drinks were both great and arrived promptly. The staff at the front were a bit rude about the mask policy, but it seemed that no one was enforcing it inside, which was really crowded.

This restaurant offers a wide selection of beers on tap and has a lively atmosphere, especially given its proximity to the ballpark. There's even a nightclub in the back that is connected to the restaurant. The staff is friendly, and the location is ideal! The food was fantastic as well! View menu

As far as sports bars go, Cask 'N Flagon knows what they 're doing. We had some late lunch with a nice drink and a couple of beers. The burnt ends were excellent and so was the chilli my wife had. Not a lot of people when we were there but I can imagine that during evenings and weekends the place is packed. Well worth a visit. Particularly if you want to watch a game with friends.

We were in the area for a tour of Fenway Park and, after receiving several recommendations, we chose to have lunch here. The neighborhood was vibrant and full of charm. The atmosphere of the restaurant was exceptional. We both ordered the clam chowder and the Fenway burger, and they were both outstanding—definitely 5 stars. The service was excellent, and our server, Norma C, was delightful and full of personality. We would gladly come back again.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
