"I recently dined at this restaurant for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. The price per person is between $10 and $20, making it an affordable option. The food was exceptional, receiving a perfect 5 rating from me. The service was also excellent, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. "This place is completely horrible they it is so hot in this place they refuse to put air conditioning on you go in there and you got to stand in line because the guy behind the counter will just sit in the chair and completely ignore you when you're at the camera their customer service sucks their food is horrible and it's old and they got roaches in there so they leave all of their meat for their subs out all day long and that heat and I personally have been sick from it and then they charge you whatever they feel like charging you the one day I go in there the owner tells me it's $8 for 12 eggs done a few days later I go in there he tells me it's 399 for a dozen eggs this is just ridiculous this place is absolutely horrible"

Location is super convenient but ingredients were kind of sad, overripe strawberry and wilted celery in our drinks (which were also very expensive).. presentation overall is not this diners strong suit. "I must review the experience last week. Have been dinning here since late 90s. Always had either a great experience or very good. So the food we all can agree is stellar, Chris Ward has been creating delicious, passionate cuisine for many years. On one occasion his behavior was deplorable arrogant rude P. O. S. With that said the dozens of other encounters have been pleasant and charming. Decor is dated and it's borderline de-classe. Now that's my opinion and I'm not knocking him or his decor. So we have a restaurant that delivers the best food . Menu has been edited from time to time. It almost hurts me to review Mercury because I absolutely live it. But the staff has been lack luster I was the host of a party of 8 and the amount of service errors are unacceptable. I won't mention the servers name, but this individual has a chip on his shoulder. Was sloppy, rude forgetful and his wine knowledge was basic. I mean really bad. Had no idea about spirits. A martini made with Bombay Sapphire was ordered and he asked what kind of vodka did I want. As I write this I'm getting annoyed because my Xanax is wearing off and my wife's wearing her lulu lemon yoga pants for the 3rd day and I am not in the mood for Mackerel..... Look it was a off night for the waiter , I get it. I still tipped him 30% because he's handsome and has a rocking body and doesn't smell like lulu lemon mackerel. Sorry Chris."

"First visit for lunch. We both had a corned beef reuben however asked for with coleslaw on mine vs sauerkraut. it’s called a Rachel with coleslaw if paired with fish) Our waitress said, “we have coleslaw so sure” Well, my first bite and I was hooked. Told my husband it was the best tasting corned beef i’ve ever had i’ve been known to frequent Jewish deli’s for a great corned beef. Even the grilled bread was delicious!! Our waitress Shelley I peeked at the bill to see her name) was a sweetheart. We’re definitely going to return. We don’t get out that much anymore so Thank you for a wonderful afternoon."

"So I purchased the coupon number 13, which included a party size one topping pizza, 2 L bottle of soda, a large garden salad, and 20 wings. They delivered the food except the salad so when I called back to see if they could send the salad out the gentleman told me he didn’t charge me for it. The coupon states that it’s 5799 I gave the gentleman $65 And he told me that he didn’t charge me for the salad and I then went on and it looked up the coupon and reread it to him and he was like oh well I didn’t see that the salad was on the coupon I said well that’s not my fault that he didn’t see coupon listed or what the items were and so the owner said he’d give me a five dollar coupon for the next time I called and ordered from them again but when I told the young man on the phone that I wanted my salad he told me it was gonna cost $10 so I said to myself why not give me a $10 credit instead of a five dollar credit to make a long story short their customer service sucks and I’m really disappointed because my family and I have spent a lot of money at this restaurant and this was not the way to handle it we will not be returning here Here."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is hands down my favorite place to be. While I am not a huge fan of the food and find that there are only a couple of dishes I enjoy, the service can be quite slow at night or on weekends. However, I am in love with the atmosphere of the restaurant. I will happily spend an hour sipping on my coffee just to relax. I particularly enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and I appreciate the friendly and familiar daytime staff. They always remember me and my kids, our orders, and are consistently welcoming. I also appreciate the unique and delicious food and coffee options that are not easily found elsewhere. Despite being in NYC, I doubt I could find strapatsada or the perfect Cafe or Iced Viennesse anywhere else. This place is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a celebration, date night, or just hanging out. Even after renovations, it remains a beloved neighborhood establishment full of cherished memories. It's always a good time at this restaurant. The coke is also quite tasty, although not suitable for those with gluten intolerance. I personally enjoy it, even if it means a bit of suffering afterward."

"I am so disappointed with the service here. Visiting a friend who frequents this deli with her husband and decided to order for dinner. The sandwiches came and her husband's was smothered in ranch which he is allergic to. Mistakes happen fine she calls back to let them know of their error, hoping they would rectify it quickly and was first told that she would be called back which was strange but then they said they would send a replacement sandwich in exchange for the messed up one. It's been 30 minutes and the deli is less than a mile away and no sandwich. The first order came within 15 minutes of us ordering. Now that I see some of the reviews it seems they have an accountability issue when they mess up and take it out on the customer. Smh"

"To start, ordering our food was frustrating, I had to repeat at least 3x for each item we ordered. They didn’t give us our total, we paid with visa and got charged to use a visa debit. We ordered 3 items, medium pizza with one topping, a wrap and cheese fries and the total was 50$. Seems a bit too high for the items we ordered. When we called they explained all the little charges, delivery charge was $4 and visa debit was for 3$. Absolutely insane. Do not eat here. You’ll be ripped off. Food was okay, but not for the price. "Ordered an Asian Chicken Salad for lunch, and after an hour wait, I got a salad with turkey and the wrong lettuce. Parts of our group got their food 30 minutes before the rest, and we finally had to leave after an hour and half without everyone getting their food. This was for lunch so all we had were sandwiches and a salad. There's no way, even with staffing shortages, that 6 sandwiches and a salad should take an hour and 30 minutes. If you want a two hour lunch, this is the place for you. Some of us have jobs though."

"We had a lovely dinner here. Service was good, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed our food. It located in the Publix shopping center on the west side of 441. The road is busy so it's not the easiest to make a turn into the center coming from the south. Hopefully, they will activate the traffic lights that have been installed. Inside it's nicely decorated booths along one wall were the busiest. And there's a sushi bar as well. I started with a small silver soup. I was curious to try it as I'd never heard of this type. It's a lot of veggies in a chicken based broth with a shrimp and a few chicken pieces along with clear noodles. It was good. And now I know. My husband had their mini sushi plate. Five smaller pieces of sushi and a tuna roll were a much larger portion than he'd expected. It was very good. I had a shrimp tempura roll that had lettuce, avocado, and cucumber along with the battered shrimp. The roll was huge! And I'd definitely get this again, but ask for no lettuce next time. The menu is quite large. Or rather I should say menus plural as there is one for sushi and Japanese and one for Thai food. There are many more selections I'd like to sample so, we look forward to coming back again. This place is a keeper!"

"Sushi wasn 't as fresh as it usually is. Eaten there many times and there is something always off about the quality of food. Tonight I ordered miso cod and almost choked on three very lengthy bones. I told the food runner and he went back to the kitchen and then apologized that the bones should have been removed. The second one they brought out was soooo overlooked which is very difficult to do with black cod butterfish which is a very forgiving fish to prepare and cook. My 5 year old could knock it out of the park. Such a disappointment we have given this place several attempts which I think they are beginning to run out of excuses for such poor quality and no attention to detail. Staff doesn 't seem to care."

"The pizza and seafood pasta are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place! The management and staff are outstanding, and the food is fantastic. The delivery is quick and the meals arrive hot. We order from Pat's in Havre de Grace at least once a week. They are also great supporters of a local non-profit volunteer organization, MDTS, which helps our Havre de outdoor community. I strongly suggest you visit or order some delicious food for delivery!"

"We booked the reservation through OpenTable for Christmas and then once we got to the restaurant for a party of 6 which included my family visiting from across the country they told us that they don't use OpenTable anymore. That was quite irritating considering how carefully I selected the restaurant being across from the movie theater. What was equally as bad as how they deliver the food. They kept bringing out dishes one at a time while the rest of us would wait up to 10 minutes for the next dish. The food was tasty, but after this experience I'm hesitant to go back again."

"Contrary to the review from 9/19/2021, this place is actually still open. It is my option that Hilltop has the best subs in Harford County. Most places I go, a side is needed alongside the 12 inch sub in order for me to really feel full. Hilltop's subs are what I'd call overstuffed, and a side isn't needed with their 12 inch sub to fill me up. And the best part is, compared to other sub places around, they aren't more expensive, so it really is more bang for your buck. Full disclosure. as of the time of this review I have not tried their pizza yet. Although, the last time I went in to pick up an order I watched them roll out dough to make one, and if I hadn't already ordered a sub, I probably would've been tempted to order a pizza. They are always friendly on the phone, and despite usually being busy around 6pm most days, they are usually pretty quick with the deliveries."
