"As a longtime customer of Sant Ambroeus in various locations, including Lafayette, Perry, and the Upper East Side, I have always enjoyed the consistent quality of the food. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, the service was absolutely awful. I had to repeatedly ask the server for simple things like salt, bread, and even to refill my glass, even though the restaurant was not busy. In the end, I was left waiting for my check, feeling like I had to beg for it. This really put a damper on the entire dining experience. Despite this, I would still recommend trying their Linguine Alle Vongole and Fettuccine Alla Bolognese dishes. Overall, I paid over $100 per person for a dinner meal."

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"I think it definitely wasn’t the best service or best Italian food I’ve had in my life but it was a good spot. We sat in the enclosed outdoor seating and had descent wine. They brought us biscotti for dessert with the check and we had a nice time. The ravioli and fresh bread were great and so was the eggplant parm appetizer. The gnocchi was okay and the chicken melanese wasn’t what I would expect. It didn’t have sauce it just had arugula on top lol. The arsnchinj were tiny."

"I am not the biggest fan of cupcakes in general, but after several people have heard that this place is better than Georgetown cupcakes, I had to put this claim on the test. Note that I only tried the Boston position of Georgetown Cupcakes before (and enjoyed it), and I wasn't waiting for two cupcake spots in Georgetown the same day, so take this as a disclaimer. I have two cupcakes, red velvet and strawberry. The red velvet was nowhere near the best red velvet cupcake I've ever had. Although I wasn't too sweet, I wasn't the fan of the cake to the frost ratio (was too much cake in my opinion). I liked the strawberry a little better because the proportion of cake actually had strawberries in it for text and taste contrast. Overall, if you do not like your cupcakes too sweet and with a heavy concrete on the cake, you might like this place - I would say it is a decent take on this style if you can call it that. But it's not my cup of tea, or I guess... cake. And I won't wait 20 minutes."

"Beautiful tea room. I have always wanted to have an authentic British tea experience and one Google search lead me to Robinson’s Tea Room. The waitress was kind and attentive, happily took me and my boyfriends picture when I asked her to, and asked me if it came out ok and the photo game out great. She checked on us often. The hostess was very sweet as well when I asked her to take me and my boyfriends picture at the entrance and she also took a great photo. Our table was beautifully decorated and so clean, the food was amazing and the decor is beautiful. I could taste the freshness in the ingredients in the pastries, sandwiches, and my rose petals tea. It was such a relaxing and calm environment to relax and unwind after a long work week. I am very grateful, thank you Robinson’s Tea Room!"

"I went to Camaje for lunch on Friday, December and I was running a little late as my train arrived minutes late from South Jersey. I was very hungry when I arrived and Matthew, the server, gave us some nice crusty French bread to nibble on. I was sold from the first bite. I ordered the Roasted Chicken Sandwich which was also served on the same tasty French bread along with piping hot pommes frites. I was in heaven as I love hot potatoes. For an appetizer, I had wild mushroom toast which was served on buttery toasted bread. The lunch ended with flourless chocolate cake served along with a scoop of raspberry sorbet, a very nice refreshing touch to a very enjoyable lunch. It was worth the trip from South Jersey. I will definitely come again. Matthew was the best and very attentive."

"My friend and I have visited tea by two twice now and we have been highly satisfied with our experience. It is such a fun experience from children up to adults. We did the high tea which comes with a soup or salad, unlimited tea, sandwiches, desserts, and a scone. It was delicious!! This whole experience brought me back to my childhood playing with tea cups! 5 stars. One negative is that I wish the staff was more attentive but they were so so friendly and did provide amazing service just wish they checked on the table more frequently."

"Mixed feelings with this coffee bar: the coffees have a very good quality but the service is not good for these reasons: -Officially they don't offer table service but you see they do it to some tables. Are some clients VIP or what? -Whenyou order the coffee and see you in a table, they still give the coffee to you in cardboard cups instead of proper cups. Theyshould ask clients what they prefer. -You pay more for big coffee size than for standard coffee size because they give you abigger cardboard cup if you take coffee away but if you ask for a proper cup to stay and you ask for a big coffee size, theystill give you the same size of cup as if you pay for a regular size.. -It's a nice place inside but it is very crowded andnoisy therefore lacking nice environment to take a coffee in peace."

"Edit 4/17/2022: I won't take away a star, but I'm really disappointed that the loose chopped chai I purchased isn't as strong as what I enjoyed at their location. The staff member who packed my loose leaf suggested mixing my chopped chai with black tea, as that's how it's typically brewed. However, that has resulted in my having a bag that feels more like black tea than chai. At the register, I was cautioned that the chai was quite spicy, which is exactly what I love about it. It was so delicious! I wanted that same experience for every cup at home. I guess I'll skip the black tea next time."

"I usually grab a quick treat to-go, but every now and then I'll challenge my family or friends to a game of ConnectFour or Checkers at the cozy shop. It's such a fun addition to the experience! They also have a lovely goodies and gift shop where I've found some of my favorite kitchen items, including a special find from Tifa Chocolate Gelato. And to top it all off, they offer a military discount, which is a rare and much appreciated gesture from a small business. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful experiences I've had at this place. From the delicious flavors to the friendly atmosphere, it's become a go-to spot for me and my loved ones."
