"It seems the wrath of Covid has hurt them. Poor service in general. We started with 2 old fashioned cocktails that had so much simple syrup and orange bitters the whisky was not present Wedge salad was a unique twist cut in a flat slab with excellent dressing, blue chees and amazing bacon chunks Steak was delicious. I had a fresh catch of the day halibut. Over seasoned with garlic butter and salt Served with cross cut stump ends of asparagus? Swimming n garlic butter WTF Didn’t stay for desert My biggest issue with this place is it is expensive and parades and a 5 star steak house, the facade is shallow but seriously, if you need to get up to use the restroom you have to walk out of quiet classy restaurant into the bright lights of casino floor and make your way across to the restroom absolute buzz kill. Overall a mediocre experience"

"Churrasco’s has been a staple in our lives since early 1990’s. It’s one of our kids (now adults) favorite places to continue to dine. It hasn’t changed and continues to be outstanding in all categories. Gotta have the Churrasco Steak and all that comes with it-especially the caramelized plantains and end with the Tres Leches. When everything is done right, no need for changes. Keep doing what ya do!"

"Disappointed with this brunch. We were excited by the reviews but our experience certainly did not match others. Perhaps it was just an off day for the server? Ordered a **** Mary waiting with excitement to see their version as described on the brunch menu only to have the most underwhelming **** I’ve ever seen! I was told the **** with all the garnishes was an up charge and I needed to ask for that…still don’t understand this since **** MARY on the brunch menu includes the garnishes. The server sensed my disappointment and brought a few garnishes. We ordered a side of bacon which was not brought until later when the server checked on us. The food had a lovely presentation, unfortunately the whole experience just fell flat for us"

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"We made reservations in advance. Got to restaurant and was not informed ahead of time that we were to sit outside. They seated us under a small overhang which allowed rain to still hit us. Another table had their umbrellas up because of the rain. Then later they offered us a table inside after the other table was given an inside table. They then informed us that another party took our table inside. So ridiculous!!! The only thing they offered to do was comp us a $15 appetizer with a bill over $300 !!! Today I checked our credit card bill and was charged double for our meal. I called and spoke to the manager Samantha who I told the whole story to and expressed no apologies until I told her I was gonna write a bad review. We will never go back to this restaurant!! So unprofessional!!!"

"Very busy but plenty of tables and seating. I was seated within a minute after walking through the door. Shortly after that, I had the menu, my coffee and orange juice. My server was friendly, showed lots hospitality. And was Johnny on the spot. As usual, I forgot to take the picture of my breakfast before it was half eaten. But I think with that you get the idea that it’s a pretty full surveying. The hash browns weren’t anything fancy they were probably previously frozen, flatten down on the grill and browned. The bar was well-stocked with a myriad of types of alcohols. Even at 10:30 on a Saturday morning the bartender was pretty busy mixing up the early morning cocktails. It’s definitely worth giving it a try if you’re in the area"

"Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Bend."

"I made a reservation on a night when there was a private event happening, along with a few other activities outside. My friend and I were seated at the first table downstairs, where we were ignored for eight minutes and were also met with a sewage smell. Given how busy they were due to the private events, it's understandable that they might not have prioritized us. As a result, we decided to leave and go to another bar, so we didn’t get a chance to try the food, drinks, or see the prices."

"We returned after a few years since our last visits, which we enjoyed. This time, however, the experience was exceptionally better. I remember enjoying the food during our previous visits, but this time, the entire experience was truly memorable. The drinks were beautifully balanced and presented. I appreciated that the bar service runner returned after we had a few sips to check how we liked the drinks—such a nice touch. Our server was friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. We were dining with another couple celebrating their birthdays, and we sampled a variety from the menu, including starters, traditional dishes, wood-fired items, tacos, snacks, and dessert. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience."

"We made a reservation for 12 send then had an additional person added when we arrived to the restaurant and they were able to accommodate us which was one of the things I loved most about this place but wveything else just wasn't up to par. The table took over 10 min to get ready eventhough we had all arrived earlier and were ready to be seated 5 min before the intended reservation time, the server was a little standoffish, we asked him to split check in the beginning and he brushed us off and proceeded to do things his own way. The food that was recommended was ok. What really bothered me was when ee had to pay the bill, he split the bill in four without asking us and we were left trying to figure out who had what and some of us needed up paying a lot more then others. I understand there's a shortage of employees but they should still be selective with the ones they hire because this experience could've been a lot better had the server just stopped for a minute and listen to his customers."

"We were promptly greeted when we arrived for our reservation. Our table was outside which was our request when we made our reservation. Lauren, our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Salmon Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh strawberries, pecans, asparagus and zucchini bread. The children’s meals of chicken tenders and French fries were amazing. We were very happy with our meals and our attentive server. I highly recommend Grindstone on the Monon for a nice dinner."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Overall, I was always impressed by Paper Doll. We have always enjoyed the entire atmosphere of the place and drinks they have to offer. About a month ago some friends and I booked places for the dollhouse at Paper Doll. We had been looking forward to it for months and I even had people from the city. When we arrived, the host told us that the dollhouse was not open at the moment. This was surprising because we had received notifications about our reservations for some time. He told us that they were low on the staff, what we understood completley, and that they would not be able to eat us back there. I told him that I totally understand that they were short employees, and we wouldn't complain yet expect ordinary service, but really wanted in Dollhouse because of 1) our big group size, and 2) the fact that we celebrated birthdays. He was very friendly, but not knocking, but was very helpful to make sure we sit in regular seats on Paper Doll. It ended all right, and we did all push and fit on the stands, but it was still not what we had expected. The next time it would be great to know before the time whether the place we book is not open because we would have gone 100% to another bar if we knew it in advance. The host was helpful and tried, but it was still frustrating that we came about 20 guests and no idea that the room should be closed. They also suggested that we have booked it on a separate website, but on OpenTable it was not clear that you had to do this with large groups. Beverages were great and the staff was friendly and helpful, just write this review to help anyone who can do the same in the future."

"My wife and I had a reservation at 545 before we attended a show at the Phoenix Symphany. When we arrived we were promptly seated. The restaurant was only about half full so it was not to busy. We waited over ten minutes at our table and no one even came up to us to grab a drink order or let us know they would be with us shortly. Since we had a show at 730, I walked up to the hostess and let her know that no one has came to our table yet and let her know we were moving to the bar in order to get service. There is about 10 seats at the bar and there were only four people sitting at the bar when we sat done. The bar tender watched us sit down and didn’t say anything because he was making a cocktail. He continued making the cocktail for 3-5 minutes and Finally said hi from where he was making the drink. He did not say “what can I get you” or “I will be with you in a minute”. My wife and I were pretty ticked off at this point but agreed to wait another couple minutes. The last straw was when another bar tender walked behind the bar to check the score of a game and then walked away. We ended up leaving because we were ignored for nearly 20 minutes between the table we had reserved and the bar. Overall this was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. We ended up going to Mi amigos down the street so we could get food before our 730 show...mi amigos asked for our drink order and brought chips and salsa AS SOON as we sat down. In closing I never write reviews, but this restaurant does not deserve anyone’s hard earned money and will absolutely never come back or recommend La Paz."

"Great service!!! The appetizer Chicken Salat Wraps were also big, only reason I must have this at 4 instead of 5 was because of the Steak ranchero dish.... Everything was good, all accept the main part, the steak was thin and the meat was terrible quality, barely ate half and this is with the ranchero sauce over everything.... worth a visit though I would say"

"while eating was delicious, the service was scary. the waiter was incapable. he told us we had to put our orders in a certain order for the proper delivery of food. we have received food, the first was for another table, 2. was delivered in 4 separate layers, all with delays of several minutes, 3. when we ordered coffee, he brought us a coffee when we wanted hot, 4. we ordered mimosa for the table and for the second round he told us that he did not have more shot glass for juice, so that he only gave us 2 of the hot ones. we have always enjoyed dove cote, but will think hard before they come back due to inept service. so despised."
