"We had a wonderful evening. It was so nice sitting ourside on a ;mild evening. However, an older man sat down next to our table and had severnal cocktails and then began to complain about the noise at our table (we were a party of 5 with a well-behaved 8-year-old). He started to get nasty, but the restaurant knew him well and basically asked him to stop his beligerence. The restaurant could not have been more understanding our situation. The situation handled so professionally. We love Arte Cafe."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"My husband and I came in at and sat at the bar. We chose this restaurant because it was date night, it was close to our house and they're open until We ordered drinks and asked for a food menu. The bartender told us that she would check and see if they we're still serving food. She came back and said yes but we had to order right then. We just ordered appetizers since it seemed like getting food would be an inconvenience. Food was amazing. One of the best spinach dips I've had. And the pretzel cheese sauce was really good although I do think it should have been mentioned that it had horseradish in it. My husband wasn't a fan. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I got but it was good. We were going to order another round but at she told us it was last call. minutes before closing? Then we sat on the patio while my husband finished his beer. A group of ladies came in after that and were served drinks. I would have gotten another cocktail and my husband would have gotten another beer. The restaurant had maybe or tables sat. I understand closing early if it's dead. But you can't last call guests and then change your mind when people walk in. We felt extremely rushed from the beginning. Bartender was nice and polite besides that. We were just turned off and will probably not plan this location for date night again"

Started with Prosciutto E Burrata and Carciofi Stufati. 2 Insalate Cesares next, Entrees were 2 Pappardelle al Ragu di Agnello Lamb Shank and Rigatoni all'Amatriciana. All the food was AMAZING! Some Tito's Birra Italia Lagers made for a wonderful night. We will be back Thank you."

"We had friends in from out of town and wanted to share one of our favorite restaurants. We eat at here frequently We all loved the bruschetta and our main course meal. The spaghetti and Nonas meatballs were excellent. We love the ambiance of seating outside. For the first time, we had a waitress that was attentive but a little too intense for a relaxing meal. We ordered drinks and she told us we needed to trust her and she insisted on bringing something different. My friend was ok with the substitution but I sent mine back and requested what I had originally ordered. Everything worked out fine and we weren’t neglected it just felt a little stressed"

"Flex always delivers. The food is fantastic and the cocktails are top-notch. The hostess made sure to check in on us, and our waitress Alexa was excellent. Despite not receiving much help from the bus staff, she handled everything with grace. Thank you!"

"I am a frequent customer who usually enjoys the experience. Last night, however, the restaurant was not properly cooled, and it was very warm and humid in the main area. The service was terrible. We waited forever to order and had to grab a passing busboy to ask him to find someone to take the order. The food arrived and I ordered Linguini Vongole that arrived overcooked with browned shells and many of the small clams were shriveled up. My guess is that it was cold, so they popped it under the broiler or in a very hot oven. After the meal, the table was cleared and the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, which we declined. We were talking quite a while, and we never got the check. Again, I grabbed whoever was passing by to request it. When I was ready to pay by card, for the third time, I accosted a passing waitress (not ours) to take the payment. All-in-all, a disappointing, sub-par experience."

"My wife and I went here on a Friday night we have to say we really enjoyed all the food the only thing that wasn’t so good and I had it at one of their other restaurants and it’s unfortunate to say the steak is not seasoned very well it just taste like a plain piece of meat unfortunately that’s why I gave it a four-star and a five star review on the other hand all the food except for the steak was absolutely amazing the pasta that is mean inside the cheese bowl is outstanding the fried calamari with the spicy peppers was outstanding the table side seating that was outside was awesome my wife actually said she preferred it better than sitting on the inside again other than a steak everything was amazing the Waiter Jose was On top of everything very polite highly recommend asking for Jose but all the staff even the hostesses were very nice would like to just Do you think the restaurant for a very good meal compliments to all the chefs in the kitchen and looking forward to coming back sometime soon"

"First time back here after the shutdown. Like all restaurants, you can tell they were hit pretty hard. Overall experience just average as compared to over years ago on multiple occasions prior. Salads small and too simple. Entrees were reasonable but when you factor in the pricing just average from a value standpoint. Not interested in returning. Sad to say, but a different experience then in prior years."

"I visited this restaurant to meet a friend for lunch while I was in town. He suggested it as the place for the best thin crust pizza, and I must say, I was not disappointed with the flavor of the pizza."

"I went to a restaurant to catch up with my girlfriend after not seeing each other for a long time. I ordered a variety appetizer, which was good, but the waitress forgot my chicken fingers and they came out 20 minutes later, although she apologized. While we were engrossed in conversation at our booth, my friend noticed something crawling on the top of the seat - it was a ROACH. We both jumped up to check for any other bugs and went to the restroom to inspect our clothing. We informed the female manager, who told us that an exterminator had been called and would be coming later. Although we were thanked for bringing it to her attention, we were concerned about the other patrons in our area. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"This was my first visit. Allof the baked goods looked really good, it was hard to choose what I wanted because they all looked great. I had a slice of pineapple coconut loaf cake and an iced chai and I enjoyed both of those. This place is really cute and the cashier who helped me was very friendly and helpful. That's where the praises end for me. If I ever came back it would just be for a coffee or a small baked good. I was VERY unimpressed by the lunch items we had. I had a turkey sandwich and while I liked the turkey, I hated the baguette. I think my teeth are just too sensitive for it and I think it was a little too toasted because it was very hard to bite into. I ended up eating around it. My daughter didn't care for her salad at all and she usually loves salad. Altogether my sandwich, her salad, an iced Chai, fountain drink, and loaf slice cost $40. For what I paid for thr sandwich and salad, I'll just go somewhere else when I want lunch. The cake and iced Chai were good. The food, not so much."

"First visit… food was wonderful, lasagna and pumpkin ravioli were excellent! Drinks were also good, lemon basil martini… yummy! Only criticism really is that we prefer seating be more private for conversation-not a fan of sitting so close to other diners. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back as well as recommend to others!!"

"You know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally transports you to your grandmother's house when you were a child. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I have not found anywhere but in my grandma's kitchen. That soup, by itself, was worth the trip. The sword fish appetizer was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know, pisco sour is not Mexican, but in any case, it was very refreshing and perfectly mixed). Price wise, well you are in NYC ... 'nough said."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant. Their Italian brick oven pizza is by far the best I have had in New York. Along with the pizza, they offer a full menu of other delicious dishes. The restaurant also has a full bar and an impressive wine list. And don't forget about dessert - the coccole con Nutella (fried pizza dough with Nutella) is absolutely divine. Overall, the food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Steak was good prime angus beef cooked the way I asked. Salmon was dry though. Waitress forgot to give us the specials until we asked and didn't come by often to check if we needed anything, when I did. Very crowded and and noisy setting if you are looking for a setting more personal."
"For being in the suburbs, away from Waltham proper, and within walking distance to several hotels, you could do a lot worse. It's a clean, warm and modern Italian restaurant that has its flaws, but I'd give it at least a try if you're tired and not willing to risk hotel food. The green salad with blue cheese had a tad too much dressing and the cheese needed to be crumbled more but the lettuce was fresh(ish and the dressing had some nice tang. The clam pasta was passable if you overlooked undercooked pasta (I'm all for al dente it shouldn't be this hard and lumps of garlic (not even golden brown or thinly sliced sigh . The sauce was buttery and spicy which was at least the saving grace (or I was just hungry . The service was friendly enough and the beer had some killer selections on draft. They have the bones to be a much better restaurant, but I've eaten here enough (don't judge! to know that's unlikely anytime soon."

"If you 're in a pinch and jonesin for italian food, this is your spot. First impression: Luby 's of italian food. To be fair, Mandola 's doesn 't have the food sitting out buffet style and someone plating it for you. Not knocking it, it just reminded me of going to Luby 's and standing in line to order your food. The line moves quite fast; ponder the menu while you wait inline and by the time you finish and decide what you 'll have, you 'll be at the counter. You place your order at the counter then go grab a seat. Their service is pretty speedy, as our side salad order was there in no time. The entrees came out before we got done with salads. The salad wasn 't as fresh; felt it was made earlier in the day and refrigerated. Not saying it was bad, just not as fresh as freshly cut greens. We had thin spaghetti, one with shrimp one with 1 meatball. The shrimp were fresh and the meatball was a baseball sized and pretty tasty. The sauce, in my humble opinion, lacked flavor. From the description of the ingredients, garlic, basil and olive oil, I 'd expect a pretty tasty dish oozing garlic, basil and olive oil but all those flavors were lacking. Also, it seemed as when the pasta was cooked, it wasn 't cooked in enough salt. IDK, maybe it 's me and maybe I 'm used how I cook my pasta and sauces. Either way, dish was good, just added a dash of salt and pepper. It has quite a steady number of patrons so it must be good and maybe I went on an off night. I may return to try something else."

"Have you ever entered a restaurant and found it eerily quiet, with no sign of the hostess or bartender? That was the experience here. Once the staff showed up, they were friendly enough. The food was decent—neither bad nor exceptional. However, it felt a bit pricey for the level of service provided. On the bright side, the beer was cold, which was a definite plus. If you're traveling solo and just need a meal without venturing too far, this place will suffice. But if you're looking for more than that, you might want to consider other options."
