"pick two is a deal if you can't decide I love their ultimate nachos and that French dip Angus roast beef was tender and delicious the sauce was ok it needed something I'm not sure what but it did, the bread was A1 so yummy. I haven't ate my cheetoos yet but for $2.50 the bag is small. that's why 4 and not 5 stars"

"I ordered the Italian sandwich without olives and with extra onions, and it was absolutely delicious. I typically love Italian sandwiches but can only manage to eat half; however, I devoured the whole thing in one go without any regrets. I gave the restaurant 4 stars because my brother and sister weren't as pleased with their meals (the Steak and Cheddar and the Ham and Cheese melt). They watched me enjoy my food while they weren't as satisfied, which left me feeling a bit down."

"The food was delicious, and there was a nice variety of options to choose from. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. We were a group of seven, and our total bill, including separate taxes for beverages, came to around $109. Most of the group had never dined there before, and everyone loved the portion sizes. We returned about a month later for our next book club meeting since everyone enjoyed the previous gathering I hosted there! (A different person hosts each month.) Once again, everyone thought everything was fantastic."

"I really enjoyed the salad I ordered today—it's the second time I've had it this week! I would rate it five stars, but I requested delivery and they somehow noted it as a pickup, so I had to leave my office to get it. Additionally, I specifically asked for no tomatoes or cucumbers, yet my salad was filled with both. Since I'm allergic to tomatoes, I had to carefully remove them and the cucumbers from my salad."

"I really wanted to give this place a better rating, but they definitely need some improvement. My husband had never been here before, so we decided to check it out after noticing it on our way to the pet store. We ordered two sandwiches and three teas, but it took quite a while for our food to arrive. There were two ladies working in the front and three in the back, handling the food preparation. However, there was no one clearing the tables, and no one dedicated to the drive-thru service. All the tables were dirty, except for the ones currently in use. I wanted to lend a hand, but I know better than to get involved. In the hospitality industry, appearance matters a lot. While the food was decent, I'm not sure we would come back."

"The salad portions and toppings are quite generous. If you order takeout salads, make sure you have enough dressing, as it varies depending on who is working—sometimes the dressing cups are only filled to a quarter. Also, don’t forget to check if you have crackers. We've spent hundreds of dollars on salads here, and their sugar cookies and carrot cake are absolutely delicious. Kid meals for dining in are only 99 cents, so definitely give them a try!"

"My wife and I went to this place for lunch, even though I felt they are very over priced. The service, much like the food, was terrible. It was at least 7-8 minutes before we were acknowledged and we were the only ones in line. The cashier was extremely low energy and had a bitter disposition. My wife ordered a garden fresh turkey sandwich which should have been called a drowned turkey sandwich because it was swimming in oil and vinegar. She only ate the two thin slices of turkey and left the soggy bread on the plate. My culinary nightmare began with a half a French dip and potato soup. The sandwich consisted of a thick dried out piece of bread that was complimented by two paper thin pieces of roast beef which were also dry and tasteless. No cheese I guess they forgot). The picture is NOT what they are serving. The soup was so watered down that it tasted like water and sadness. No salt, no flavor and no potato. There were three shards of cheddar and a piece of very old bacon on top, which contributed in no way to the flavor. Not to mention everything arrived at the table ice cold. So after paying 35 dollars to this disgruntled employee we recieved absolutely nothing of value. Save your money and eat somewhere, anywhere else.Parking: very tight"

"Whenever I travel to Midwest I always enjoy eating at McAlister's Deli. They have a delicious Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich. Another favorite of mine is the Pecan Cranberry Salad. I love their ice tea which comes in sweet or unsweetened. When ordering a sandwich you get a side dish with the order. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean. There was a lot of seats. As it is a popular place the seats fill up fast"

"This was the first time I actually showed up here, although they often looked after us at work. The food is great. Always fresh and always a lot! This time. You have the option to order at the switch or order it by app at your table and someone will bring it to you. It's hidden in a small shopping stripe ball. Good parking. Beautiful and quiet area. I highly recommend if you want a casual, quiet place with great food. UPDATE 10/15/21. I've eaten again. My son is the first time. We had a wonderful, fresh, healthy dinner. Many options, including my favorite, 1/2 sandwich with bowl soup. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try."

"I had dinner around 7:15, and while the cashier who took our order was friendly, there was a man in the kitchen wearing a polo shirt who seemed to be in management. He made inappropriate comments about women, using suggestive language, which was quite off-putting. I couldn't tell who he was referring to, but it was definitely unappealing. While we were waiting for our food, the kitchen staff were loud and seemed to be throwing food at each other. We also overheard them discussing someone resigning. Although the food itself was good, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired."

"I absolutely loved this restaurant during my time working in Illinois. I haven't come across one in Pittsburgh or the nearby areas yet. While on a two-month vacation, I stumbled upon this place and knew I had to try it. I ordered the large Italian sandwich, while my daughter opted for the club, and both were delicious. "I enjoyed my tea, but I felt bad for the customer sitting next to me. She was quite unpleasant. I understand that you give away your teacups, but she threw a tantrum because her 10-year-old daughter bought a biscuit and assumed she would receive a cup as well. The poor child didn’t get a cup until her mother started yelling at her. I think if you’re going to give away the cups, you should clarify that they are only free with a drink purchase or for customers over 18. Just my suggestion—it would cause less trouble for your staff and potentially increase your business."

"I frequently get the savannah salad because it is really good. Even though it cost me 14.00+ dollars it is usually worth it, today when I got home and opened the box up I knew immediately the lettuce was bad, not just one kind but all the different types of lettuce were wilted and brown, nothing was crisp and fresh. "Owning a business next door to McAlister's I eat here A LOT! The manager, Johnathan always goes over and beyond to make sure that not only are his regular customers are taken care of but every single guest that walks in are as well. Since he has taken over this restaurant, I have notice a drastic postive change in the efficiency and overall quality in food and the dining experience. Being a a business owner myself, I understand and recognize the importance of customer service. This restaurant definitely has customer service down pat!"

"Please consider hiring more staff. We visit this restaurant every Sunday, but this will be our last time. The woman in the back making sandwiches was incredibly slow, and it felt like we were waiting forever. I felt sorry for the cashier who was running back and forth between the drive-thru and the front to get food; he was fit and quick, doing his best in a tough situation. With only two workers, the service simply can't keep up. I saw many people leave because the line was too long. There was also one employee sitting down the entire time; I'm not sure if he was on a break or waiting to clock in, but we were there for two hours and he remained seated the whole time."

"04/02/22 It was my first time eating here, so I ordered a sandwich that I hoped would remind me of something my German grandmother used to cook: the Horseradish Roast Beef. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical that it would even remotely taste like Gramma's cooking, so I didn't have high expectations at all. The friendly waitress brought a decently sized sandwich and set it before me. I bit into it and was pleasantly surprised: the meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful; the bread was soft and fresh; the flavor was outstanding! The horseradish was just strong enough to be noticed, but not so strong as to overpower the other flavors a balance that is quite challenging to do with the ground root condiment. The atmosphere was enjoyable, the service was good, and the food was delicious. VERDICT: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
