"Edit- McAlister’s corporate made things right. Returned and had a much better experience. Food was hot and tasty, tables were cleaner, and staff was pleasant. Bathrooms still dirty however. Very much enjoyed my second experience. Went 12/11. I usually like Mcalisters at other locations. Bathrooms were unclean, paper towels out. No hand sanitizer. Food was cold, didn’t give our chocolate milk for kids or potato salad. I had to wipe off my own table because every single one was dirty. Male employee did not seem to care and seemed disinterested to get my missing order. Food was cold. Very poor experience given the price."

"The worst pickup experience ever. I checked into their curbside service and waited for over 30 minutes! They were busy so I figured that might have something to do with it I was wrong. My order was ready BEFORE my pickup time (it’s printed on the recipe). I called the store and was immediately placed on hold for FIVE minutes until I hung up and called back. They said they would look for my order, placed the phone down, and then just hung up. No apologies once they brought the food out. By this time my soups and sandwiches were cold and my tea was incorrect. Safe to say we are never going back."

"I always get a chicken Caesar salad, potato salad, broccoli and cheddar soup, and the pink lemonade. My only complaint is that their chicken doesn’t taste the best and seems a bit dry, but it’s really a minor complaint as I still get the salad quite often. Overall, I love this place though! The food is soooo good! It’s also very reasonably priced. I have been here many times, and I will continue to come here."

"Was getting ready for several hours on the turnpike. I wanted something filling but fast and preferably not typical fast food then I found McAlisters conveniently located on sunrise just west of the turnpike. Food was fast, delicious, and well prepared, Best corned beef sandwich I?ve had in a while. Wife had a terrific roast beef club, sides were fresh I had fruit salad for fifty cents more great deal . Next time I?ll try the choose two special make sure and ask about it. We ordered online and food was waiting hot and ready just a few minutes later. Fast pickup and curbside offered. Highly recommended"

"Been going here for awhile…never had any problems. I order some broccoli with my meal. It comes out dark and not fresh. I asked to get another and it comes out the same way. Only hotter. The girls at the front desk were laughing amongst themselves like it was funny. Manager just kinda have a look when I had to return food. After a 3rd attempt it’s looks a lot better. "Pretty disappointing. There were 3 people at the front counter playing on their phones. When I went up to get dessert, they were having a less than appropriate conversation one said I 'm a bad b+ I don 't smoke those another was saying they don 't smoke it bc it hurts their throat. (Sorry I missed what they don 't smoke). Now all this, I really wouldn 't have been bothered since it was slow. IF the store hadn 't been disgusting. Bathroom had (hopefully water) everywhere around the stalls. The cleaner stall had no toilet paper. All the pictures are from me walking. Not just taking pictures of a single straw wrapper. Except the roach in the lobby. So the lobby had trash and rodents all over the floors. The tables hadn 't been wiped. We were in there for over 30 mins and they never got wiped. Like I said, they were slow. One person ordered before us, one after and one pick up while we were there."

"We haven’t been here at this location since they first opened. At that time, it wasn’t bad, food was excellent, and service above average, prices were reasonable for what you got. Today we stopped in and had to check the hours on the door, because there was hardly any cars in the lot. Sign said open till 9:00 pm . So we went in- the place looked empty- one customer. We ordered lunch, my wife got a salad and a bowl of soup. I got a half sandwich and a cup of soup and we got two unsweet iced teas. The check was almost $32.00. For what we got, we think that was very expensive. It’s no wonder their llot was almost empty and the restaurant had just one customer in it. "Enjoyed my first visit to McAlister’s Deli. This location is connected to Castleton Mall so parking is a little crazy on a Saturday evening. Very friendly cashier who was helpful and answered questions. I took my cashier’s suggestion and had the Choose 2 option with half a Savannah salad (with Sherry Shallot dressing) and the Spud Max. Both were very good, but I actually enjoyed the salad the most. I would come back again just to eat a full sized version of this salad and dressing. Pricing isn’t too bad. For three of us to eat and drink, it was just over $30. "Was excited to visit this location for the first time. The cashier (Kristina was nice, patient and helpful. The restaurant was also nice and clean. The kitchen staff were loud and very chatty with one another (about the customers waiting inside the kitchen and walked in and out getting drinks and going to the restroom while there were several tickets up and customers waiting and picking up orders. I heard one man from the kitchen ask why are they standing there? and the guy expediting the orders answered they are waiting on food . The expeditior had several customers orders sitting in the corner instead of passing them out. Myself and others had to walk up to the counter to ask for orders that were ready but being stored in the corner to get cold. I waited for 25 minutes . The manager that was present never came over to assist or try to speed along the process. Looking into the kitchen, several of the staff were looking out into the lobby commenting on pretty women coming in and out instead of preparing orders. I believe this is the culture at this location, so I would try a different location for better and faster service. Food was good but prepared rather sloppy. Kristina our cashier was the only good thing about our visit."

"So I get it's Sunday and everyone wants to go home but closing the salad barover an hour and a half before close seems lame. Maybe it's your policy. I had been craving Jason's salad bar for weeks finally get a chance to stop by and it was completely broke down at 8:20 pm when they close at ten. I never want to be that guy that comes in right before close if I go somewhere and it's almost close I will tell them thank you and leave but an hour and half before close it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the salad bar."

"First worst experience, will not be back. Waited 37 minutes in the drive through, and when I get up to the window to pay the lady says “you had kids meal?” I said uhh no.. She says “ok that lady must have drove off, ok what did you have?” I only remembered that I ordered a half a sandwich and soup but didn’t know the names because I don’t come to McAllisters, so I told her that I ordered a half sandwich and soup and she said “$15.52” I asked if it is usually around a 35+ minute wait as I don’t come here but want to know that way I can plan accordingly in the future since I’ve spent my entire lunch break and then some in their drive thru and she said “$15.52”. I then asked if they always charge full price after their customers wait almost 40 minutes with their cars idling for food, and she said “yes, $15.52.” So I handed her my card and let her know that I would like a receipt. I waited a few more minutes for my card to be brought back to me, as she brought it to the front of the restaurant to run it, and she did return a few minutes later with my card and receipt as well as my half sandwich, soup, and large iced tea (which the ice had almost completely melted in). I called after leaving the drive thru and pressed 3 to speak with a member of management and the same woman from the drive thru answered the call and immediately said “please hold” and put me on hold. She came back to the line and said “how can I help you” and before I could even say a word she hung up. Definitely not an experience that I would say is worth $15.52, and in the future I will not invest 40 minutes in their drive thru for that kind of service. My sandwich was lukewarm and my soup is a gelatinous coagulated consistency- Would not recommend.McAllisters: I know that this review will probably get the same canned-air response that you comment on every poor review, so please don’t feel the need to waste your time!"

"I was really excited when I saw deli, but when I came in, it was another chain closer to a panera brot or corner baker only less character. I ordered the reuben when I had believed one for a few days. what they served was the sad echo of a reub. I hope they don't have ny stands because it won't take long. also a lemon that was pretty good and finally there are chocolate chip cookies. too many chocolate chips. the taste was a bit off as if they did not use enough salt when baking and then it was hard as if it was on the edge of the quiet. I was hoping that would be a regular stop for me, but now I'm going to doubt that I'm coming back."
