"I brought my daughter here for a steak to celebrate her graduation. We ordered onion rings, a petite filet (cooked medium) pasta. Her filet came out ****. We sent it back only to have it come out still rare! We sent it back again it finally was cooked as ordered. By this time my dinner was getting cold. We finished our meal when the waitress came over to apologize. She then offered a free dessert for our trouble. Really? Since this place is a steakhouse, I thought they could have done better. How about comping the steak? The rest of the food was good but we won't be returning."

"This restaurant is one we don't frequent often since it is a bit of a ride for us, but we do love the food here. My wife I visited for a late lunch and found it to be as good as ever. Our server was very helpful and answered our questions about the lunch menu. Our starter was their fried calamari and it was very tasty and lightly fried. My wife decided to have their lunch special with a Caesar salad and spaghetti with tomato sauce while I had their Salmone al Pistacchio dish. We were both extremely satisfied with the meals and the amount of food more than ample. We still decided to try the dessert a special one which was a cheesecake made with ricotta cheese. It was excellent!"

"I’m a bit of a pizza purist.I live in Easton, PA and have been known to drive to Brooklyn, NY, simply to pick up a fresh pizza pie.So when personal business took me to Bangor, PA and having worked up an appetite, I did a Google search for Pizza near me.The owner of Giordano‘s, Pietro, is in my view, an ‘old school’ pizza guy.I believe he’s been in business since 1982, and if the quality of the pizza he madeis any measure of the rest of his menu, I give this guy three thumbs up, unreservedly!Go out of your way to try his pizza. You’ll be glad you did.And if you want the freshest experience, ask for it to be par-cooked, and finish it in your own oven at home!"

"The food is pretty good here overall, however, the service while OK was very detached. Portion sizes are pretty good. The pasta was served in a very tiny bowl so it was a little difficult to eat without spilling on the table top. Also, they have a great bread there, but for some reason they came and took it in the middle of the meal with several slices left. We asked for more they said it was coming. We waited and we’re almost done with our meal and asked again. They said it was coming, but it never showed up. I love bread with my pasta and felt disappointed that it was not brought back to us so I could soak up leftover sauce. It was not very crowded so I didn’t quite understand what the difficulty was."

"We’ve tried a variety of appetizers and entrees during our many dinners at Villa Maria’s. Each of us have our favorites but the one thing we all agree on is that they are all good and the portion size is very generous. When we can’t decide, we order different dishes and eat family style. For example, the steak is one of my favorites while my husband loves the seafood combo over spaghetti. The waitresses go out of their way to provide great service. The last two times we went, we were 7-10 people. They went above and beyond to take care of us all. I was very impressed with how they wrapped up the leftovers so nothing leaked. No place else does that!! We’ll be back there again in a few days to celebrate another family occasion and we’re bringing along a few people who haven’t eaten there before. We are confident that they will enjoy it as well. Buon appetito!!"

My husband asked if we could be seated in the back which seemed dark and intimate to set the ambience for our date, however he kept saying no. My husband saw empty tables and he kept saying no. We left but my husband wanted to come back because he was set on this place. Came back and there was a server at the door, my husband asked for a table at the back and to our surprise there was about 3 tables available so we felt it was discrimination from the other person who looks like Rick Moranis.Let’s get into the food I didn’t likeHUANCAINA SHRIMPS to me it lacked flavor and I found some hard shells in one of the shrimps.My husband ordered BRAISED SHORT RIBI personally Felt it lacked flavor and was bland. I don’t expect it to be high in sodium but I was expecting some robust flavors. The short rib was tender I give you that.I really wanted to love this place since I am a local. But I guess it will serve great for tourists.One last thing $14 for a 20oz bottle of water is beyond ridiculous!"

"We ordered the arugula pizza with prosciutto. It was a perfect pie hot, fresh and delicious! The server was warm and inviting. When he confirmed that our choice of wine was not available, he made a terrific recommendation for a replacement and offered for us to taste two others. Highly recommend this cozy, welcoming place!"

"This place is amazing! I can't stop dreaming about their calzones. They have a sausage patty sandwich that many people absolutely love. Their medium pizza is massive and delicious! I ordered a veggie calzone, but the cook mistakenly added pepperoni. They promptly removed it from my bill and gave it to me for free. Their marinara sauce is incredible. I definitely make an effort to come here!"

"The plaza where it is located has a dangerous and steep staircase in the lower levels of the parking lot and the elevator was not working. There is a musty smell in the parking lot. The parking lot is very expensive, but the restaurant is well situated and beautiful. The waiters are friendly, but the service is very slow. The food was between mediocre and bad; I don't know who told them they serve gnocchi, they are not gnocchi. All dishes were reheated, the house wine and hot coffee for dessert. We ordered a chocolate cake that was supposed to have a molten chocolate center, but we had to send it back twice because it was never heated to melt the chocolate; the accompanying scoop of ice cream was the size of a lemon. I do not recommend this place because the relationship between price/quality of food/service makes no sense."

"I was looking for a special restaurant near the Pantages Theatre for our anniversary dinner. I waited too long to make reservations and many of the area restaurants were booked. As my good fortune would have it, The Barish was able to get us in with just a few days notice. When I made the reservation I let them know we were celebrating out anniversary and would be attending Hamilton at PM. From the moment we were greeted at the front door, every person we came into contact with understood our evening plans and worked to keep us on schedule and made the evening special with good wishes for our anniversary. The waiter started the evening with champagne (nice touch, we didn't even have to ask). Thank you to our charming waiter, David, for graciously answering all of our food questions and for subtly keeping us on schedule so we would not be late for the theatre. We had the rigatoni with goat cheese and curry, grilled mushrooms and eggplant with bone marrow. Every dish was full of flavor and the bread roll was worth the carbs! We skipped dessert but the ice cream sundaes looked delicious, we will definitely go back and bring friends so my husband can have someone to eat steak with (I am a vegetarian so he went veg with me). Highly recommend, great ambience, amazing staff and delicious food"

"Our server was friendly but inexperienced. Even though she served it in a plain glass on ice and we ordered “club soda,” she charged $5.00 for a Pellegrino on the bill and never showed the bottle to the table. Found out at home. Twice, we politely asked “Coleen” to confirm our OpenTable table—she never did. Arancini was fine. Pizza was a disappointment. The middle was soupy, thin, and completely fell apart whether we ate it with a knife and fork, or not. Octopus dish was one lone tentacle in a plateful of salad. Chef can just make it an insalata on the menu then. Tasty tentacle. Margaritas were nice. Convenient corner location."

"For the location, it definitely feels a bit sketchy, like a spot where a serial killer might hang out. However, hidden inside this little dive is a gem that serves surprisingly delicious asada burritos and freshly made chips! If I find myself passing through again, I would definitely be tempted to stop by. I recommend paying the guy who was working today on June 3rd more than $9.50 for his excellent service; he's definitely worth it. And the green salsa is fantastic!"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. I ordered delivery from a location that is only 2 minutes away due to work constraints. However, I was told to wait for half an hour. Two hours and twenty minutes later, I drove to the restaurant and found out that they had just sent the driver to deliver my food. I had to wait for the driver to return with my food and then had to take it from him myself. When I finally attempted to eat my food, I found that the pizza was overcooked and the cheese was dry, and the wings were also overcooked to the point where I had to throw them away. Although the staff were friendly and accommodating, the quality of the food and the delivery service left much to be desired."

"We have been coming to this restaurant for years, but tonight will be our last visit. Ever since the previous owner passed away, the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant have deteriorated. It seems like they never learned how to properly make a Margherita pizza without the old owner's guidance. The pizza we received was just dough with a pool of tomato sauce, and the meager amount of basil provided was disappointing. Overall, the place has become dirty and unsanitary."

"The mozzarella sticks were nothing out of the ordinary, but they were tasty (I added some Parmesan cheese from the picture). The Greek salad was enjoyable, although I’m not a fan of garbanzo beans, so I had those removed. As for the wings, they cooked them perfectly to my request, and I tried two sauces: buffalo and Old Bay. The Old Bay was just okay, but the buffalo sauce had a wonderful flavor with just the right amount of heat. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down by the jalapeño poppers. They didn’t match the picture we saw, and the two women at the counter were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food arrived very quickly, but the poppers and mozzarella sticks were only warm, not hot, suggesting they had been prepared earlier and left under a heat lamp. I would have preferred to wait a few minutes for them to be made fresh. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and look forward to visiting again in the future."
