"We had a lovely dinner at Tavolina Ristorante last evening. Service, food, all were excellent. Only wish they had more service people so more reservations could be taken. We had to settle for but wished to reserve for and there were many empty tables be We realized they only reserve the number of tables for which they have service. That's commendable of them and no one was denied good service. It will be great when the area returns to normal and people return to work This is not a fault of Tavolino. We were very pleased with our dining there"

"Seems to be under staffed. our server came within few minutes after being seated, and he preemptively apologized as he has to settle a bill for another table. Fair enough, and I actually appreciate that he came to greet us and introduce himself. However, after waiting 15+ minutes, we then spotted him taking orders for another large (12+ person table), then he went to settle the bill for the table he originally mentioned, then he came back to our table. Meanwhile, I see other servers walking around. if I was the manager, and I knew about an overly busy area, I would most definitely reassigned another server to take care of the table. In the situation I was in, customer of the restaurant was definitely NOT a priority; the rules of the restaurant were. Disappointed."

"I love this restaurant the first time was amazing that why i went again i repeat the plate i ate the first time the pasta you made in the cheesebut this time was super different the tasting and was cold. The weather was good so we decided seat outside the server a girl never said the name she was a kind cold never went to ask about food she didn’t offer cheese for our pasta she take a long time to bring the bill she was worried about the table in the back where was seat a group of people they works there in the restaurant I think was a days off that day plus another girl dressed with your uniform so I guess she don’t has any time at that moment and she was chilling i understood the people seat outside can be a little noise but they working there or they knows the servers there and all the table was dirty my experience was horrible..."

"The tricolor salad is excellent if you like arugula and mushrooms. It is large enough to share with two people. My wife had the tagliatelle della Nonna Laura and the bolognese sauce was very good. A larger portion and my wife took the remainder home for another day. I had the Spaghetti allo scoglio which was wonderful and a generous portion. Lots of clams, mussels, calamari and a few shrimp with spaghetti in a nice red sauce. I highly recommend this dish if you like and can eat shell fish. Finally the wine from Sardinia, Cannonau Di Sardegna was also excellent and a nice alternative to wines from Tuscany and Piemonte regions of Italy. Overall, a great dinner and the restaurant was not crowded as we went on a Tuesday evening. This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Denver. We go there regularly."

"NYC is known for great Italian so the bar is set pretty high to deliver. This spot isn't that. Yes from the decor and the deceiving amount of staff, it appears to bring a sense of class and appeal, but this restaurant is the equivalent to a California pizza kitchen, but with seafood on the menu. Pizza was the only thing I liked outside of the grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked. The Artichoke dip was more creamed spinach- didn't see any artichoke, the baked clams is a signature dish but it didn't do anything for me, and the burrata prosciutto was disappointing. It May have been older but the center was not creamy. The sangria was too strong for my taste buds so I stuck to the Sangiovese wine and drank that with a smile till we left. Much better restaurants to explore and had our main courses elsewhere."

"Treated like cattle. Long wait to be seated despite a reservation. Table was almost in corridor next to the waiters service station. Felt like a table in the staff area. Asked to change table and were treated as if asking the world. Decor like a service station. Wine prices laughably expensive. "Ordered on Slice while I think they probably do have phenomenal food my experience has been less than stellar. Chicken Salad, Quattro Fromage pizza and cheescake. The cheescake had mold on it. The fries were raw (cooked them in the air fryer so it was fine) on the salad and it was not bad. The pizza was so raw that I put it in the oven cause it did look yummy. Needless to say it didn't cook from all the liquid and it is not edible. Hope others have a better experience. To say i'm disappointed would be minimizing it I had high hopes after the reviews. I was refunded for the cheescake (which there is NO way they didn't see the mold) but they won't refund the pizza. Supposedly they are going to deliver a new one and pick up this soggy mess. Will update.UPDATE: Got a new pizza delivered and I will say it was very delicious, I agree there was a salty factor to the crust but not bad at all. Very generous toppings and great sauce. I appreciate your comment and that you sent me a new pizza."

"Absolutely delicious Italian food. My wife and I found this place while in town for a concert and gave it a try. It was a stifling 116 degrees and as we poured our way through the door looking for relief from the heat. The place is tucked away in a corner of nice little shopping center. The staff is friendly and the place is cleananf kempt (minus a fidgety front door ? with an Italian/sports bar feel. It presents itself as an Italian place without all the stuffiness one might expect from a high-end place. The menu was pretty big with what seemed like a lot of authentic Italian dishes. I settled for the homemade beef short rib ravioli and my wife got the tried and true chicken parmesan while starting with some garlic flatbread. I 'll be honest, I was concerned because sometimes when local restaurants claim everything is homemade, it can be difficult to live up to that promise, especially when the place isn 't super busy, which this place wasnt, on a Friday night at 5 pm. The flatbread came out and within just a few minutes it was gone. Remarkably flaky dough, thin and crispy but soft with just the right touch of garlic and butter. It was absolutely delicious and it makes me regret not getting a pizza if that 's similar to how the crust is. My ravioli was fresh, had amazing flavor and perfectly cooked vegetables. My wife 's chicken parmesan was exactly the same. The food was so good! Great flavors with an obvious nod to being homemade and authentic as they didn 't taste as one-dimensional like typical american-italian places we are used to. We aren 't in this area often, but will for sure go back just to deep dive into that menu. If your in the area, you need to give this place a go, the food is fantastic!"

"I was hungry after refereeing some rugby games at Catholic University, so I decided to stop in to see if the pizza was good. Unfortunately, on weekends, they don't sell pizzas by the slice, so I had to order a small pizza. I ordered the Portobello gourmet pizza for $14.99. Unfortunately, I thought that because that pizza was below pictures of Sicilian pizza that the pizza would be a Sicilian pizza. 15 minutes later, I found myself looking at a regular round pizza. The pizza was very tasty and had a lot of ingredients on it no tomato sauce, but a garlic herb sauce. The only issue was that it was a little salty.Regarding the atmosphere, this is a pizza storefront with no tables, so not much atmosphere. The one person working was very nice and polite.Vegetarian options: Lots of different vegetable combinations on pizzas.Kid friendliness: Takeout only, so better order ahead or you could be stuck with a screaming kid in a very small space."

"I know an Italian might be upset with me for saying this, but I can't help but feel that the food here is reminiscent of what I'd find in Italy. I absolutely love their sandwiches; they’re my go-to indulgence when I want to treat myself to a special lunch. I did have one unfortunate experience where my sandwich took an hour to arrive and was burnt and not great. However, I'm glad I decided to give them another try because I haven't been let down since. I highly recommend giving this place a chance!"

"Exceptional. I ordered entrees for take out. The food was delicious, well seasoned and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Villagios understands the balance between flavor and ingredients and how to prepare a meal. Their tomato sauce is fresh and tasty. The garlic and oil pasta was fantastic, not “oily” with excellent balance of flavor from the garlic without it being overpowering. Very nicely done. The price appropriate for good food. I highly recommend you give them a try."

"We had a large party of 16 people, and Numero 28 was more than happy to accomodate this in the middle of Manhattan which can be difficult. So qudos to them! They were proficient in taking orders, however, could have been more friendly when doing so. Understandably did not split large bills, so spent a lot of time at the end of the night collecting cash around the table. A simple annoyance rather than a negative note. The food was good, no one had anything to complain about. All in all, a good night."

"I placed an order for a large, 16” arugula pizza and when I got home the amount of arugula it was sent wasn’t even half of the pizza. I was very disappointed. Worse was when I called to tell them about it. Whoever the girl on the phone was, she heard and asked me for a moment… when she was back on the phone she asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager. Well… i want someone to give me an answer about what they did. Because the arugula was not crunchy or seasoned like when I ordered at their place… and this girl was like “so do you want to speak to the manager or not instead telling ing me all if this. if she can’t hear and offer a solution what is she doing there???"
