"NYC is known for great Italian so the bar is set pretty high to deliver. This spot isn't that. Yes from the decor and the deceiving amount of staff, it appears to bring a sense of class and appeal, but this restaurant is the equivalent to a California pizza kitchen, but with seafood on the menu. Pizza was the only thing I liked outside of the grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked. The Artichoke dip was more creamed spinach- didn't see any artichoke, the baked clams is a signature dish but it didn't do anything for me, and the burrata prosciutto was disappointing. It May have been older but the center was not creamy. The sangria was too strong for my taste buds so I stuck to the Sangiovese wine and drank that with a smile till we left. Much better restaurants to explore and had our main courses elsewhere."

Very friendly atmosphere and good Italian food. Lots of space for large parties or just drinks at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. I wish we didn?t have an event after dinner, so I could take the leftover artichoke pizza home!

We questioned one item on the bill. This sent them into a frenzy. They made us wait 20 minutes and then reluctantly took a few dollars off instead of sending a manager over to try to understand the situation. They lost a frequent neighborhood customer this way.

We dined at the restaurant this evening and the food was terrible. It tasted like something you would find at a low-quality diner. I had visited a few times before the pandemic and thought the food was actually quite good. It's disappointing to see the quality decline. View menu

Always top rate with cocktails and pasta, I have missed dining at the bar of this fun neighborhood restaurant. The other night my friend and I found ourselves starving..... being vegan, I love their vegan pizza and my friend agreed to share one with me. It was yummy, as always, and my friend enjoyed it even more than I did, which is hard to do!

We tried this place for the first time tonight after having walked by many times in the neighborhood. They were friendly and clearly doing their best to make outdoor dining work! We got seated right away and had a good experience. Both my husband's Baramundi and my chicken parmigiana were very tasty. This was a good meal! If you are looking for a place that is casual and tasty on the Upper East Side, add Petaluma to your rotation.

My husband and I were in town last week visiting family when we stumbled upon Petaluma. It was such a delightful and tasty surprise! The salad we ordered for dinner was incredibly fresh and crisp, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We also tried several pasta dishes from the menu, and each one was more delicious than the last. The wait staff was friendly and kind, making us feel like we were longtime friends. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and we had a wonderful time. This restaurant is a perfect spot for a date night, with its romantic ambiance. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give it a try! View menu

Blah Sadly that is the best world to describe my dinner. Bland is another word. I had chicken parm (my favorite and how I judge an Italian restaurant) and it tasted like all they did was throw tomato sauce on the chicken. ZERO spices same with the pasta. I took one bite of each and was done. My boyfriend 's dinner was the same. He took a bite and said , Well, we 're never coming back here. He had chicken Marsala. We did take the food home so we could add our own spices. Two stars because the young waitress was very nice. (No we didn 't say anything as it wasn 't worth it) The place was pretty empty and should have known from that as we went during prime dinner hours.

Had dinner with girlfriends here. Cute place, very spacious. Loved the Christmas decorations! We started with the burrata and prosciutto. It was so fresh and delicious! The balsamic was perfection *chefs kiss* I was craving pasta so I went with the classic spaghetti meatballs. It was the perfect portion. The sauce and pasta ratio was also perfect! Not too much but not too little. It was delicious. My friends had the shaved Brussels with salmon and shrimp scampi, both looked great! For dessert, we shared a tiramisu order it! You won't regret it. I believe it is house made! The wait staff was super friendly and checked in a lot which was appreciated! 10/10 would come back to try the rest of th...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
