"Some good pizza! The layout of the restaurant is very open and efficient for a rush of customers! There are a lot of well maintained and organized tables with a soda machine in the middle of the restaurant being the cherry on top for me. The servers are extremely nice and always serve you with a smile and a working attitude. In terms of pizza, they have a good size variety and the pizza itself is almost perfect, a fluffy crust, crispy yet soft base, stringy and tasty cheese"

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"This review is not necessarily for the food being served here (which is average, at best) but mainly for the attitude of the ‘manager’ of this establishment. I live in the neighborhood and I generally stroll around Burlingame Ave with my wife and my 2 little ones in the evening. These guys took over the entire sidewalk making it almost impossible to get through, especially on weekend evenings. Last night I was trying to cross the street and I literally couldn’t get on the sidewalk because of their table arrangements that occupied absolutely every single inch of the crosswalk entrance (see the picture). I went in and politely asked to talk to the manager, and politely told him that’s not cool, and that they should make some space for the people trying to cross the street, and the first words out of his mouth were “We need to survive” and then started raising his voice with a bad attitude at me and my wife going on about how that’s normal. Needless to say, I’m never coming back here. Better food across the street at Delfina or next door at Rise. Most importantly, way better attitude!"

"You know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally transports you to your grandmother's house when you were a child. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I have not found anywhere but in my grandma's kitchen. That soup, by itself, was worth the trip. The sword fish appetizer was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know, pisco sour is not Mexican, but in any case, it was very refreshing and perfectly mixed). Price wise, well you are in NYC ... 'nough said."

"If you have freshly caught fish, I would highly recommend bringing it here to have it prepared for dinner.We brought in fish caught and generously provided to us by our water taxi captain. He recommended Apollo as the only restaurant in town that would prepare fish brought to them. An excellent recommendation! With the Catch of the Day menu option, half our fish was fried and the other half was grilled. The fish was served with salad, potatoes, and pasta. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service top notch.This dinner was the perfect end to a wonderful visit to Seward."

"Decided to stop by Fresh Wood Fired Pizza and Pasta in Black Mountain on our way home this evening. Ordered two to go meals. We ordered, told to wait 25 minutes. Walked across the street to “Lookout Brewery “ for a nice cold one. Went back after our 25 minute wait. They could not find our order. Waited another 20. Got home, only two exits down. Pasta was cold and was missing the side salad. My wife’s salad was missing the pita bread. Put my giant CLUMP of Pasta Carbonara in a bowl to warm. It was cold!! And found 30 mls of a buttery oily substance in my bowl. It was HORRIBLE and unpalatable !!!! Honestly I’ve had MRE’s that tasted better!!! I Literally measured 30 cc of an oily substance when I moved the pasta to the side. I Could not enjoy even two bites!!!! Gave it to the dog!!! Pics available on request."

"After reading the reviews, we decided to make a pit stop at this restaurant on our way from San Francisco to Cannon Beach. One of my daughters opted for a smoothie while everyone else ordered a small pizza. Unable to make up his mind on toppings, my husband took the server's suggestion to split his pizza half and half. We were the last customers in the restaurant, but the manager went out of their way to provide excellent service. The highlight of the meal was definitely the delicious pizzas! We couldn't finish everything, but both my daughters insisted they would have the leftovers for breakfast. Everyone agreed that the pizzas were better than Mod and on par with Pagliacci. I highly recommend this place!"

"I have been wanting to try Krispy Kruncchy Chicken for a while now, ever since it first opened. Finally, I had the opportunity to sample their food yesterday and I was very excited. My father and I were in the area, waiting to pick up food, and had some time to spare, so we decided to give this place a try. I opted for the chicken tenders meal that was displayed at the counter, as I didn't want to wait too long for my food. To my surprise, the tenders, fries, and biscuit were not just warm, but hot and crispy. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The meal also came with a spicy ranch dipping sauce, which added a nice kick to the flavors. For around $12, we got 4 pieces of tenders, a honey biscuit, fries, and a drink. I didn't want the drink, so I asked if we could substitute it for another side, but unfortunately, our request was denied. The seating area was mostly clean and empty on a Friday afternoon, but I deducted one star from my review because I found a chicken wing bone on the floor, which was a bit off-putting. Considering the restaurant was not busy, I believe the staff should have paid more attention to cleanliness. Despite this, the food was the highlight of the experience and I thoroughly enjoyed what I tried. I am looking forward to returning to sample more items from their menu in the future. God willing."

"The food was absolutely fantastic! Every entree we ordered was cooked to perfection, including the sweet potato fries. I believe this is the freshest salad bar in the area—so delicious! The baby back ribs were the most meaty ones I've ever had; they smoke the ribs right on site. The menu is extensive, featuring everything from burgers and sandwiches to traditional supper club dinner entrees (available all day) and pizzas as well. Although I haven't tried the pizza yet, I'm looking forward to it. A special note for those with gluten intolerance: they offer gluten-free buns and pizza for an extra charge. The service was exceptional as well. We’ve been attended to by three different waitresses so far, and all of them were genuinely friendly, cheerful, and very attentive. Dining here was a truly enjoyable and satisfying experience. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in the area!"

"Doughboy 's is a long time favorite here on the Central Coast! They were pioneers of gluten free pizza, setting the bar high for others to try and imitate. They also have vegan cheese for all the vegans as well as for those who have lactose sensitivity like my youngest Daughter (a life saver let me tell ya!!! Haha) Their pizza crust has just the right amount of fluff while holding onto a perfect hardiness. Sauce, cheese and toppings finish off the pie just how it needs to be, delicious! They also have an assortment of appetizers, pastas and other eats that are also top notch....OMG, the lasagna is AMAZING!! Definitely one of our favorites! The crew are always friendly and on it and the atmosphere is chill, they are set up for takeout or delivery."
