"This was my second time dining here with my friend. Upon a bad first experience (our food was incredibly salty and the customer service was poor), we decided to try them out a second time, as inexpensive Indian restaurants are few and far between. Immediately after we sat down, we noticed a difference between how the servers treated my friend and me. I am African American and my friend is white-passing. They continuously placed all of the dishes on her side of the table. I can’t even comment on their customer service, as it was practically non-existent. After my friend paid the bill, we left and went our separate ways. I was almost two blocks away from the restaurant and in another establishment, when I saw a man waving at me through the window. It was an employee from the restaurant. He accused me of not paying, however, as I mentioned, I wasn’t even the one who had paid for our lunch. Furthermore, my friend was given a receipt after they presumably charged her card. I told him that my friend had already left, however, he made it clear to me that he was not going to leave. I came back to the restaurant and paid for my meal. My friend checked her bank account and the server did not charge her card, however, to track me down and insinuate that I had intentionally left without paying, is absolutely unacceptable. The bill was $38 in total. Please spare yourselves the trouble and dine somewhere else. I recommend New Dehli Palace, across the street."

"I booked this location for my son's third birthday and had 150 guests. I was absolutely amazed by the level of service and quality of food. The owner Tony was great and very accommodating and took care of all the details. We had a very detailed menuand Tony took time out to make sure that every thing was taken care of. I have had India and Pakistani food all over NJ andthis was by far the best experience. Better then any restaurants in Edison or Jersey City. I have no idea where is the negativecomments are coming from, seems like the person had a personal problem with the owners. As far as I and my family areconcerned. We loved the food and the service. I recommend Raangoli 100"

"We really enjoyed this restaurant. As soon as you walk in the spices light up your senses. We met both the owners who are very friendly. As you can see from the picture it has a festive colorful environment. They had some very nice electronic menus to order from that popped up images of all the food items. Their son develop this for e menue. It was nice to find they had lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We had several appetizers of eggplant okra cauliflower and vegetable samosas. In addition we split the Chana masala and dal takda along with basmati rice and tandoori roti wheat bread. I told my wife we need to learn how to do Indian cooking, until then we will be coming back here!"

"I had a wonderful time at Naan Bawarchi Biriyani Indian cuisine, a BYOB Indian restaurant in Austin Texas. The food was delicious, authentic, and fresh, and the service was attentive and friendly. I loved the variety of dishes they offered, from chicken and mutton dumb biriyani and paan. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I also appreciated that they allowed me to bring my own bottle of whiskey, which paired well with the spicy and flavorful food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine or wants to try something new. I took another chicken dum biriyani to go. That's how much I love this place. Naan Indian Bawarchi Biriyani Indian cuisine is a gem and I can't wait to go back!"

"Prices are too high for the small portion sizes and quality. Shame on me for not ordering online so I would have seen the prices and total but we ordered two entrees, naan, and two appetizers and they charged us $95.We only came here because our usual place (Curry Leaf in Harleysville) was closed. We found out the hard way that Taste of India’s Chicken Tikka Masala entrees are twice the price with half the chicken compared to Curry Leaf.My family usually eats all the food when we do Indian but the night we ordered from here the food went 80% uneaten. Even the naan seemed like it was from a freezer. Yet, despite the price gouging and food quality, the main reason I am writing this review is how smugly the person handing me my food was when he said “by the way, I made sure to give you two things of rice.” I asked, “right… because I ordered two entrees?” And he clarified, “no, you only get one rice when you order two entrees but I gave you two” (as if he was doing me a favor giving me rice with my entrees, something that is a given any place I have ordered from). In other words, their rice policy is that you either get a half order of rice or no rice at all if you only order one $25 entree. That kind of policy is consistent with the food we unpacked at home. The quantity of chicken between the “two” entrees was about the amount of one proper dish. I suspect they are making one dish and serving it as two, charging $50, and telling you they’re doing you a favor."

"There is so much on this menu, it 's incredible! If you 're vegetarian, you can have it all! No worries there! If you 're vegan, there are some things you cannot have, like dishes with paneer. However, any dish with ghee, they are happy to have made for you without ghee! Just ask. This is the most vegan friendly vegetarian Indian restaurant I 've been to, and I will be back. They have dosas and idly, which are Indian crepe thin pancakes with savory fillings and steamed bread you eat with soup or chutneys. They also have some soups, which I love the sambar and mulligatawny are so good! The menu is filled with so many dosas, it 's crazy, but then you get to the entrees and are also delighted to find so many potato and paneer options. If you 're vegan, obviously skip paneer. There are still many choices, like chick peas, as well as dishes like eggplant. Try some rice dishes, beyond just biryani. They have some Indochine stuff, too their take on Chinese flavors. The food here is so good, and the veggies are not disappointing. The flavors are complex, though there is definitely spice. If you don 't like spice, don 't come here. If you like heat/ hot spice, you 'll also be happy here! Oh, and check out the buffet!"

"Excellent dosa selection, perfect for vegetarians! Whatever you order, I assure you that it will be good. The restaurant has fast service and no frills. It is always crowded and vibrant but thankfully we did not have to wait for a table. Seems to be popular among the locals too. We had butter masala dosa and it was fantastic, and the portion is big enough for sharing. We also ordered other appetizers and the price was reasonable."

"Recently, I went for lunch buffet. I had really bad experience. First, there was no soap for washing hands in Gent 's toilet. I was casually told that they ran out of it. Secondly, I am a vegetarian. In the buffet, there was a chicken biriyani but they had written Kodi Biryani which means Chicken Biriyani in Telugu language. So, they assumed that everyone understands Telugu language. This is racism according to me. I almost ate it. Luckily I checked with the staff and then he put a new sign card. The buffet price of $22 is too high for the quality of the food that they serve in Buffets. Naans were like rubber very hard to chew. They use foam bowls for hot soup. I have seen them using foam plates for parties too. So cheap and unhealthy practice. Also, owner attitude is very bad and he does not care."

"The Annapurna Cuisine was chosen by us,for, we wanted to have our favourite South Indian dishes including dosa and idli for our dinner. I must say we were not disappointed. I found an interesting variety of dosa on the menu, which was spinach dosa and I did order that and found it indeed very tasty. Overall I can say one must make a visit to this place at least once."
