"Placed an online order, and noticed a delay in the delivery. Gave the restaurant a call and was told there was an issue with the online order and some confusion over what specifically was chosen from the menu (not blaming the restaurant for this as I am notsure what triggered the error through the online ordering process). Unfortunately as I attempted to clarify what the ordershould have been I was rudely told that the restaurant did not have time for this (likely an additional 30 seconds) and washung up on. It 's a shame because we typically enjoy their food and usually have a great experience dining in/placing orders.Almost all of the staff have been very friendly but this one gentleman has ruined the restaurant for us and we will not bereturning. Perhaps a lesson in customer service would suffice. Even a polite version of the same message would have sufficed andkept us as customers."

"We loved El Paraiso, but our experience was far from pleasant. The food was terrible, the noise level was unbearable, and the waiter’s clothing was quite inappropriate. We were very disappointed. To make matters worse, he opened the doors, letting in a cold draft."

"The customer service was excellent; I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was. He frequently checked in to see if everything was okay, kept our drinks refilled, and demonstrated great manners throughout our meal. He definitely earned a well-deserved tip! As for the food, it was good, and I would likely return. The only downside was the noise level from the music—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. But, given that it’s a Mexican bar-style place, I suppose that's to be expected. Just be prepared for a hefty bill if you’re planning on having a full course meal! Dinner for two came to $84 plus tip, and we didn’t even order any alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, my husband left satisfied!"

"This place exceeded my expectations. The chips always comes out warm and fresh and the salsa and queso are fresh also. The entree portion sizes are huge and extremely filling. The margaritas are made perfectly. You get more than your money’s worth here. I’m glad I tried this place. It’ll be on my list of restaurants from now on. "I stumbled on this place out of good luck. I loved the theming and decor. The staff was perfectly attentive without bothering me once. Everyone was polite and professional. I’ve had a million quesadillas all over this country and this one was remarkably good. The free chips and salsa was flavorful and thick. Check out my other reviews if you think this is fake. I just went in with no expectations and was shocked at how happy I was with every aspect of my experience."

"I completely understand that management doesn’t have full control over how customers behave, but the young male waitstaff was lingering around their booth, practically engaging in lap dances with these women. There was no effort from management to address this situation; instead, the staff seemed to encourage it. I hope the owners or management take note of this review and take appropriate action. We will not be coming back. As for kid-friendliness, this place is definitely NOT suitable for children, given the customers shouting obscenities and the waitstaff's inappropriate behavior."

"I’ve ordered takeout from here for about a year since I’ve been in Hamilton mill. Their staff is always friendly, food is always ready, and the chicken soup is always great. This is my go-to place for authentic soup when it gets cold out. Prices are also amazing. Love that the chips and salsa come complimentary."

"The food was bomb! I got the burro with birria meat made chimi style! Best decision I made that day other than getting gas before it went up. You will wait for food, but you won't be disappointed! Whatever they're doing here is noteworthy! It will run you about 15$ a plate but you will either have leftovers or you need a nap b/c you're so stuffed! No complaints other than needing more napkins, but that you can get on your own. You also may want to bring your own drinks if you prefer options...they may not have what you want to drink, but they most certainly have what you want to eat!!!!! Know that!"

"Start with free chips and salsa. Food is always fresh and sometimes sizzling when it comes to your table. They have an extensive menu, almost overwhelming, but they have something for almost all. Waiting was always acceptable, and to be honest, I wouldn't be upset if I had to wait a little more, the atmosphere is happy. Beef/steak, chicken, shrimp/fish/scallops, vegetarian, children's menus, lunch and dinner, desserts, soft drinks/hard liquor, TVs, fish tank and a .25 rubber ball machine. The staff was always good for us and the children. Remember to increase your tips a few dollars, these servers deserve it."

"We’ve had El Toro quite a bit over the past year, 50% of the time doing a take out order. The price for the Burrito Ruletta according the takeout menu they provide is 11.95. We put in our regular order of 2 of those to go. My husband returned home confused as the total price was 33.69. That’s 16.84 per meal. We thought well, with inflation and everything maybe they increased their prices, but yikes that’s a big jump. Well I hopped on door dash as they do use that service and lo and behold, the B.R. Is actually only $10.24 on there. We could have had it delivered for a total of $23.09 and saved $10.60!! So we had planned to call about the pricing tomorrow. BUT then we opened our meals and find out not only were they missing ingredients all together, but the burritos were about a 1/5 the size as they’ve always been. Their burritos in the past have made you full before you eat even half. In this case, the burritos were limp and empty. They had maybe a couple pieces of chicken in them all together, mine was basically all green pepper and my husbands all onion. They were practically empty vegetable burritos. We’ve loved eating their food, but to pay a significant increase and get 1/5 of the food, disappointing is an understatement."

"El Loro Mexican Restaurant provided a fantastic experience for my family and me. The restaurant's interior is clean, welcoming for families, and beautifully designed. We chose to enjoy our meal outdoors. The complimentary chips and dips were average. The Pozole was a generous portion and truly delicious. The Enchiladas Verdes were incredibly tasty. The rice on the side was enjoyable, and while the small salad was decent, I would have preferred a greener option over iceberg lettuce. The cheese quesadillas were outstanding! The chicken and cheese quesadilla was also good. The burgers and fries were excellent. The service was exceptional! We left very happy and are already looking forward to our next visit to El Loro Mexican Restaurant."

"We found this restaurant during the pandemic and quickly became regulars, loving their excellent food and service. Unfortunately, our recent visit was disappointing. Both the food and service fell short of expectations. We’ve always enjoyed this place and might consider giving it another shot, but our latest experience was so different from just a few months ago that we’re unsure. Prices have gone up significantly, and when dining out, I expect at least the food or the service to be satisfying. While I understand staffing shortages—having worked as a server myself—that doesn’t seem to be the problem here. I sincerely hope they can turn things around!"

"Just moved near by and have been there three times now. The first time was date night with my wife and loved the Fajita Chimichanga. The second time we took our children and they liked it as well.
