"We love El Molcajete! Found this gem in Duncan and we've been multiple times since. I usually get a large margarita at Mexican restaurants because there's not much alcohol in the drink, but every time I've been here my drink is tasty and the alcohol is not watered down and the flavor of the margarita is perfect! Took my Dad out to eat today and as usual the food is bangin! The waitstaff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and I love the friendly atmosphere. Dad has to eat gluten free now thanks to an allergy and our waitress was top notch. She made sure his tacos were corn only. My burrito was delicious and the queso dip is amazing! Never have to ask for refills or napkins. This place is small but cozy inside and very clean. Our waitress was super kind when we placed an order to go to take a plate home for my Dad's girlfriend. She even recommended different quesadillas they could make to help us choose, and when they bagged up the to go order the added chips and dip again too! If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and a chill atmosphere, a full bar with great margaritas and friendly wait staff, this is the place! 100% recommend. Dietary restrictions: Wonderful options for gluten free guests. Parking: Small location but plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spaces up front with plenty of space to navigate a cane or wheelchair."

"We recently visited ANNEX and had a great experience. For drinks, we ordered the House Margarita and a specialty Dos XX, paired with the Toro Loco Burrito, which came with steak. The burrito was filled with rice and beans — it was good, but we had enjoyed a better version during a previous visit. We also got some queso for the chips, which added a nice touch. My wife opted for the fajita burrito, which featured a mix of beef and chicken, and she really liked it. She requested charro beans instead of fried beans, and the waitress was very accommodating, bringing her a bowl of the charro beans. Overall, it was a very good visit, and we took some photos of our food to remember the occasion. We often frequent this restaurant in the Legions area, especially after attending Kansas City Monarchs games. On this visit, we both ordered the fajitas mix burrito, which was generously smothered in queso cheese. It also came with rice and a choice of black beans, refried beans, or charro beans. The burrito was packed with fajita veggies, beef, chicken, and shrimp. Everything was incredibly delicious! It's common for burritos with shrimp to include smaller salad shrimp, but we were pleasantly surprised to find six full shrimp, size 30-40, which were baked and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered a pitcher of Texas margaritas to share, which was enough for about four full glasses. We did have to ask for lime, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment. We were very pleased with both the margaritas and burritos, and we even brought home half of our burritos to enjoy later."

"We never in my life come here again . I’m from a big city . My husband is from this small town. I see why he acts they way he do when coming back home . I came in alone to get a late lunch . Trust me I only came cause my husband say this is a good place to eat if you like food more from my country . I have it a try . When coming I walked in and the place was empty . That’s not a problem for me cause I don’t like a crowd . I was greeted barley but was greeted . I was instructed to sit where ever I liked . I was given a menu after 10 mins of walking in . An couple with 2 children walked in around that 10 minute make . They ordered after me ma some how some way these ppl received they food before me . I only ordered a soup and an side lol . This is where I see why my husband don’t like coming home let’s just say those certain people that they fooled way before me and they were treated very different. I guess I’m just a little too brown for them. Food was cold I was told soup was being made from scratch. This is why my food was being given to me late when I received my food, it was room temperature, so it’s no way it was being cooked in any type of way. It was literally sat there cause whenever you get soup whenever you order soup and it’s lukewarm that means it’s been sitting my brown skin offends them. I guess that’s what North Carolina is about especially this town would never come back here again, nor waste my money to eat here from. Whoever this guy is greeting and serving ppl is very racist . Either they need to hire another person or get the business together. The fact my own Latino ppl would treat me like this is definitely crazy and weird . Hope he enjoyed the good tip I left for him, even though the service was trash and the food was not at all close to home. All I have to say if you have a tint to you DON’T GO HERE!!! You’re better off spending your money where it’s wanted ."
