"Top notch across the board. Complimentary chips were warm like they had just been baked and the salsa had the perfect amount of spice. Maybe it was the fatigue after a lot of driving, caving, and hiking but the food was wonderful, quick, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and efficient. Our food tasted home cooked and we were in and out in under half an hour. Just a great experience and I would easily drive off highway again for another meal here."

"I planned a recent trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, and the one piece of advice I kept hearing over and over from other travelers was to go to A Little Taste of Texas. I found this intriguing since it's not even super close to the park, but figured multiple travelers couldn't be wrong. We arrived on a Saturday night and were told we'd have a 30 minute wait for our party of four, but we actually got seated within 15 minutes. Our server Cody was one of the best servers we've had at any restaurant--he was so kind and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Cody's efforts made this a 5 star meal for sure, but our food certainly played its part! Delicious steaks, sides, and other dishes like the fried fish--you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Well worth the trip if you're near the park!"

"Ordered and asked for something to be grilled. Another person comes by and asks, a third person (to confirm? , and about three minutes later, poof! There's our orders. Now, I gotta say that as soon as we got our food that quick, I got that feeling. Food was cool... not even warm, my taco, after verifying hard shell came soft shell, my food was like eating a salt lick. My gals food was cool and we asked for the shell to be grilled, but it came back in three minutes is telling that we received, without verbiage, that you get what we make you. Her food was like eating a salt luck. Finally, the black beans were absolutely terrible: cold, mushy and no taste. Good luck."

"We came around 11:30am with a party of four. We had Jennifer (it said 179 on the ticket if there?s more than one) as a server and she was handling our section of about ten tables plus. She was super fast, friendly, attentive, and really nice to mynephew! She was really busy but I noticed she gave all the tables including ours the best service. The food was delicious! Iforgot to take pics of the mozzarella sticks but they were piping hot and gooey good. I had the chicken Alfredo and it wasincredible. My sister, mom, and nephew tried the sampler cake and they loved it! The restaurant was busy but it was clean andeveryone was doing such a great job! We used to have a Gondolier in BG, but it closed. This was a wonderful experience, and Ihad missed it so much!"
