"I planned a recent trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, and the one piece of advice I kept hearing over and over from other travelers was to go to A Little Taste of Texas. I found this intriguing since it's not even super close to the park, but figured multiple travelers couldn't be wrong. We arrived on a Saturday night and were told we'd have a 30 minute wait for our party of four, but we actually got seated within 15 minutes. Our server Cody was one of the best servers we've had at any restaurant--he was so kind and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Cody's efforts made this a 5 star meal for sure, but our food certainly played its part! Delicious steaks, sides, and other dishes like the fried fish--you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Well worth the trip if you're near the park!"

Food is really good. It is pricey but I have never been disappointed yet. The grilled asparagus with cheese is my favorite side item.

This place was great as usual, a goto on my birthday! The NY Strip was perfectly cooked medium with 2 sides! But the real surprise was how delicious the Mrs fried chicken was and such a great price!! View menu

One of the best steaks we've ever had! Cooked perfectly and expertly seasoned. Sides were delicious. Our server took great care of us. Definitely a Glasgow gem! We're from out of state and will DEFINITELY stop in again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

I had a pulled pork sandwich and fried okra. Both were very tasty. Our server was very friendly, and our food was delivered quickly, which was a good thing because we were in something of a rush. We asked immediately for our check, and the server offered to put our drinks into to-go cups for use and returned them refilled as well.

Greetings at the door was very nice, service was amazing. Food was ok but our order wasn't what we asked for and the steak special came but wasn't very warm. They were really busy and since our server was so nice and pleasant we just ate. We were traveling and found them on Google. If we're in the area again we might try again when it's a bit less busy. Beyond great service! Wonderful sweet tea. Awesome Tone. Many locals during our visit. Nice mom n pop restaurant, more of an upscale feel when dining. Bathrooms are Ada accessible and entry way is not too bad. Try the appetizer with fried onions and jalepenos.. big portion.. fried okra is good too. They have frying down to an art, crispy and not dripping in oil. Will definately visit again!!

Had my Birthday dinner at A Little Taste of Texas and they did not disappoint. Totally frozen that steaks cooked at such a high level could be found in small town Kentucky. Ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and the fried green tomatoes. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection with great flavor and the fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had. The steamed broccoli was plain which is the way I like it. To top it off my wife got me a surprise desert of blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Kim was our waitress and delivered a 5 star performance for service as well. Earlier reviews and issues with medium well steaks are ordering steaks that will scientifically make them tough. Anyway, everyo...
