The Frog is hands down the best diner in Oklahoma City.
Now a lot of you won't remember, but the area around 10th and Pennsylvania used to be hoppin (no frog pun intended). I remember so many Saturdays heading down to breakfast at the Frog, shopping at AMC, and grabbing a bottle over at Linwood Package Store. Times were good.
When I moved back to Oklahoma City a few years back, I was thrilled to find the Frog's doors still open with Jack still manning the grill. And yes, the food is as good as ever.
I won't go too in depth about the menu, since it is your basic diner dishes; however, there are two things you gotta know. When I grade a diner's breakfast, I base the grade on how good the sausage is and how good the hash browns are. The Frog capitalizes on both.
What else do you need to know?
Go give a classic Oklahoma City diner some business, and enjoy some hot coffee and delicious grub at the Frog.
