"We waited a long time before someone came out to seat us. It was not busy and only about 5 others there. Most of the tables needed to be cleaned/ cleared though a few were clean, but not offered. And they stayed dirty throughout most of the time we were there. Food was basic, burgers were dry, ordered onion rings, but was brought fries. Waitress never offered drink or coffee refills, we had to ask. Slow, slow service. We had to ask for the bill after a long wait. Dessert was not offered. Staff was polite, but need basic training. Won't visit again."

Love VIP's small home town cafe vibs with good food at reasonable prices. Usually isn't much of a wait and the service is pretty good.

I had a big ham and cheese omelette with a double side order of pancakes. The omelette was cooked perfect and tasted great. The pancakes were light and fluffy and tasted great also!

$17 for this sandwich? They don’t even put cheese on it or offer an option? Meat was not great but the sauce was horrible. Seriously… $17 for bread and 3 slices of meat? Never again

Great food with a great staff. I can't remember her name, but she was an awesome server/host. Their side salad you get with a meal was massive. Doesn't look like they do Skimflation, less food but for more money. Always love eating View menu

The service was lacking; we walked in and were barely acknowledged before sitting ourselves. After that, we were mostly ignored until we asked for something as basic as water. While the food was quite good, the unwelcoming first impression overshadowed the overall experience.

I ordered take out meals for a family after traveling and this place did not disappoint. We are semi-new to the area, and love eating locally, so finding this spot was great! We order breakfast and lunch food. I recommend their kitchen sink omelette, crunch French toast, and blueberry muffin. Everything was freshly made to order, and was full of flavor. I am disappointed that I didn’t try it sooner. I will definitely be a regular at this place. We went about lunch time, so there was a bit of a wait but totally worth it.

"We entered through the bar area, immediately greeted by friendly staff – all of whom were absolutely lovely. The bar itself is cozy, with a few tables and bar seating, and it had a nice dim ambiance that suggested it would be a great spot later in the day. The hostess seated us in a booth in the main dining area, and thankfully, there was no wait at that time. The décor was quite nostalgic, taking me back to the 90s with shades of my youth, including memories of wearing dickies and my initial belt buckle. A picture from "Mi Vida Loca" added to the wave of pleasant nostalgia. The music complemented the overall theme perfectly. Our server, Arleen, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making our experience even better. Both my fiancé and I are pescatarians, and we were pleased to see plenty of options on the menu, including various plant-based and vegan dishes. We started with complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and had the ideal amount of kick, while the chips were light and crispy, though they could have used a bit of salt. While there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, we still enjoyed the chips immensely. For our meal, we ordered tuna empanadas with chimichurri dipping sauce and a chili relleno plate that came with rice and beans. The three empanadas were incredibly light and flaky, filled with moist, flavorful tuna that wasn't overpoweringly fishy. They paired beautifully with the chimichurri. We polished off every bite. The relleno was perfectly cooked, featuring a thin egg coating with a juicy, succulent poblano pepper stuffed with Oaxacan cheese, all topped with a delicious tomato sauce and Mexican crema. The beans and rice were well-cooked and seasoned too. Next, we tried three mix-and-match tacos: lobster, Baja fish, and blackened swordfish. Each one was fantastic, but the lobster taco, topped with crispy fried leeks, was my favorite. Although there was an enticing drink menu, we kept it simple and opted for horchata instead, which was delightful – not overly sweet and had a delightful homemade taste. A few days later, I’m still reminiscing about how incredible the food was. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return soon. Don’t miss out on La Unica!"
