"30 minutes in drive thru. I'm driving at 2035 on the road. there's 1 car in front of me. the car needs forever to tell his order before me. When I get to the menu, someone comes out and says they need to reset the microphones. that takes about 5 minutes. if it's repaired, I'm not asking for a cheese on my tacos. I come into the payment window and see how a hired red salsa pours into small cups. it takes 10 minutes to get my order. I have reviewed the order (they have messed it up in the past, and there is cheese on all tacos! even after I asked a few times for no cheese! After they needed another 7 minutes to revoke my order, I ask for red salsa. after I told the casser how I put the kerl in the back pour red salsa, he goes into the mini fridge and gives me red salsas. (he lied to me! When I arrived, there was a car in front of me. when I left, there was a line to san mateo. taco cabana, you have to reach your team directly. terrible service!"

"I ordered the chicken taco salad. I thought it was really good. I had to add a pinch of salt but I really enjoyed it. I don't like salad dressing on any taco salad so I add fresh lime and some sour cream. And have gone back several times for that salad. I have noticed some Mexican food is bland they add a lot of spices but not salt... But that's on you to add what else you like to your food. They have the best shredded beef hard tacos. Service is amazing and every time I have to call in my order everything is exactly what I asked for. Thank you all for your hard work."

"We absolutely loved this place! We sat on the back patio overlooking the park. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was incredibly delicious. I would definitely dine here again. As for vegetarian options, the veggie quesadilla was amazing, loaded with carrots, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, and served with guacamole and whole beans."

"Wow. When their food is made properly it may be very delicious, but please do not give this location business. I cannot believe this place. Several times recently they have put bacon in my order, and the last time we took it back they simply removed the bacon from the burritos and did not remake them, so they still tasted like bacon. I cannot eat bacon, and this experiences make me physically ill and very upset. Today, I took our burritos back in and I explained the situation, very kindly. I asked if they could maybe look into their quality control, because bacon is an item that many people have problems with. The lady at the register was lovely. The manager did not apologize or act like a manager at all. She was rude and abrupt. She did have them remake the burritos a quarter of the size of the original ones! Seriously? That is what I get for politely trying to talk about a concern?? I am absolutely appalled. I understand that it is hard to work in customer service. I promise I was not mean, and I was very polite. These might be breakfast tacos? Not burritos. And no chile. I asked for Christmas. Amazing. These guys DO NOT want your business."

"Makes me sad to only leave 2 stars on a New Mexican restaurant but.....After a friend's recommendation and reading good reviews I decided I wanted Carlito's for Mother's Day. I'm a simple gal. Maybe it was an off day because it was slower for them but the food wasn't great. My son's tortilla sliders were dry and clearly reheated, my enchiladas with Red Chile lacked flavor and my husbands chicken was dry. Only 2 things were great, the sopapillas and the lady working the front. I hope this place can up their standard of quality because I'd love to return if the food gets better."

"This is an excellent spot for a quick bite of delicious Mexican food! It's definitely superior to most fast-food Mexican chains. They've also expanded their menu to include more options for vegetarians and vegans, featuring cauliflower rice and Beyond Meat, which is fantastic! This change allows more people to find healthy choices at a family-friendly restaurant, and I really appreciate that. I ordered a large quesadilla along with a large queso and chips, and they included a side of sour cream and guacamole! I also picked up some salsa from the salsa bar and enjoyed everything for around $13. I love the convenience of the drive-thru, but there's also ample seating inside!"

"This place is really cool! It's a little hole in the wall and seems to be an authentic style. Their tacos are amazing (I'm not even sure if they sell anything else). My friends and I have gone several times and always order way too many tacos. We've gotten at least two rounds every time."

"This is good in a pinch. Tacos are okay, nothing to brag about, the easiest menu item is the Quesadilla , however most of the time I've had to pay extra for sour cream, guac, salsa, and sometimes the meat is cold or cheese isn't melted at all in it. I mean, come on, how hard is it to make a quesadilla correctly? This place isn't cheap either, the best item there is the simple bean and cheese burrito, always hot, and to be honest, it is next to impossiable to screw up. You'll pay about $14 for three items, meh, haven't been back in a while. At least their competitor gets the order right and the food is hot. Three stars because the kids at the drive-up window are usually nice, it's not their fault, it is a lack of communication with the kitchen/cook/staff."

"I have eaten several times at jose and that was the worst. my favourite dish, afteros were so crowded with jalapeños that the juice was all softening. the server finally asked if I needed a refill after the person who had supplied the food had already taken care of it before. she never asked again and my companion was never asked or received a refill. at the end I gave her my reward number to get credit for the meal. she returned and told me I had points so that there was no discount. I checked before we got out and I had this point. she didn't give me the reward statement that I got every other time to complete the transaction. When I came home, I found out that I still had the same points. this visit was undoubtedly my worst experience at joses."

"Deleted my 5 star review from two years ago. I've been coming to this location off and on for years. Lately and even tonight the service has gotten bad. Rude customer service in drive thru. "On my second visit, I dined in with my sister and her boyfriend, and I also took an order home for someone else who wanted a Chicken Quesadilla Supreme, which should include lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, beans, and rice. When I opened the order, there was no chicken—only cheese, along with just beans and rice. I called again to speak with the manager, only to find out they weren’t in and would call me back again. As you might have guessed, I never received that call either and I’m still waiting. I refuse to spend my money at a place that can't get orders right repeatedly or that overcharges customers. Make sure to keep an eye on your receipts, everyone!"

"I visited Albuquerque for the first time during the Balloon Fiesta and decided to check out The Sandwich Shop, which came highly recommended. I have to say, the handmade burger served on a grilled bun was the best I've had in ages. The fries were hot and fresh, even better than McDonald's. The meal also included a delicious homemade soup, and the clam chowder was particularly impressive. The restaurant itself was tidy and clean, and I definitely intend to return if I get the chance. I highly recommend this place!"
