"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"Amazing food for an amazing price! $20 each despite huge portions. I ordered a deluxe patty melt and it was probably one of the best meals I've had so far in 2023. The waiters were attentive and my fries were crispy despite being thick-cut. My friend got an omelette that she loved. We went at 10 pm and it was busy but the service wasn't slow. Perfect for 2 starving college students after a full day of studying."

"The pancakes were fantastic! The strawberries were fresh, the pancakes were fluffy, and I absolutely loved the maple syrup. The burger was good, though I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had. It was still tasty, but we were surprised to find that it came with just the patty; the tomatoes and pickles were served separately, along with the fries. It seems that if you don’t order the "deluxe burger" or add extras like cheese, that’s what you get. We found the burger quite good with just a slice of tomato and ketchup, but keep in mind that if you prefer a burger with all the fixings—including veggies and fries—you should opt for the deluxe version or check the burgers listed on the right-hand side of the menu. I do need to mention that I wasn’t a big fan of the fries; they could have benefited from a little more time in the fryer. Overall, though, I’m glad I chose this diner for my American diner experience! Compared to other restaurants and diners, this one was definitely on the more affordable side, and I would recommend it."

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant and used my newly activated debit card. I had activated the card just before placing the order. Later that night, at 1:30 a.m., someone attempted to make a $250 purchase with my new card number. Thankfully, my bank recognized the transaction as fraudulent. It seems likely that the fraud originated from an employee at the restaurant, as they were the only ones with access to my new card information."

"Really surprised to find this diamond in the rough. Under a permanent structure of scaffolding, and certainly not what I would call an enticing decor, the food and service at this diner was especially good. I was looking for a good place to sit while waiting for someone at the dental surgery clinic next door. The table cubicles were strewn in a most un feng shui fashion, seats ripped and needing repair, I was desperate and sat. The waitress was pleasant and accommodating. I actually got skim milk for coffee, the toast was unbuttered, the eggs hot and runny and best of all the home fries were crispy and flavorful. I?ve been so used to horrible undercooked home fries I?d forgotten they weren?t supposed to be that way. When finished I confessed why I was lingering and she made me even more welcome with an invitation to sit as long as I would like. I sat and watched NY1 for a while until summoned next door. I will be back."

"We spent the morning at the NY Aquarium and then walked around Coney Island. When it was time to go we stopped at the Parkview Diner for lunch. They asked us if we had been vaccinated, which is fine — and yes, we have been. We were seated in a booth and our server was great and checked on us several times while we were there. Food was good and coffee was refilled consistently. My wife had an omelette and my daughter had some kind of chicken sandwich. I had the beef gyro and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and our time there. Glad we found a diner to stop at on our way back to Jersey. We were beat and didn't need anything fancy. The parking lot is small and a bit tight so be extra careful getting in and out of your parking space!"

"This was my first time using Door Dash. Very impressed. My food was excellent. The Flounder Oreganato was hot and delicious. It was a very big portion. "Great sandwich shop/corner store! Love the selection of vegan menu items, though meat items are sold alongside. I ordered the tuna melt, which includes Good Catch tuna, vegan Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and three slices of Follow your heart cheese, at least on a sub can also choose hero). The tuna is grilled after ordering so the sandwich comes nice and hot, great for a winter day! My only complaint is the price on the menu $7.99) was not what I was charged at the counter $10 flat). There are signs around the store saying apologies for the price increases , but I wish they updated the actual menu prices, as it is otherwise very misleading. Still, will likely be returning to try other menu items!"

"Honestly I only ever get the bingsu, the mango and strawberry (twice) to be specific but I definitely don't think it's worth the service. I'd rather get the shaved ice cream from Grace street which is right there and it's cheaper, which by the way I hate how they don't have the price on the menu. The waitress looks as if they have an attitude all the time and every time I went. We barely get a few minutes to settle down and already asking what we want. I don't know if it's the waitress but they are always changing the rules on dining in. First you had to buy drinks to dine in. Then everyone has to buy something to dine in. Let's just say it's all over the place. One time we asked if we can go upstairs to dine but they said it was for groups only which I get sure why not but then the next few customer who were only a pair were able to dine upstairs. Honestly if I can not tip anything I wouldn't have at least not for this service. They really need better workers if they already going include 18% tip. Would I go again? NO THANK YOU!"

"As soon as you walked in there was nothing inviting about this place. There was one person sitting at the end of the counter but yet the young lady behind the counter was rude. We placed our order but because she was even more rude to my friend we left. He was very upset as was I because I Googled this place for us to eat at and convinced him we should stay despite it being empty. I hope whatever this young lady is going thru she works it out. It cost nothing to be kind. You're in a field of service so trying to be nice would be great or change jobs."

"I visited Ritz Diner to give it a try, and I found it to be quite decent! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with a side of fries, and I really enjoyed it—the fries were excellent! Other dishes ordered at our table included the chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and a pastrami sandwich. The fish and chips and pastrami sandwich were served as lunch specials that came with a side of soup and a soda. I tasted the matzo ball soup and thought it was rather bland. The chicken pot pie had a tasty filling, but the crust was so thick that it felt undercooked and overly chewy, which was quite off-putting. Our server was friendly, but we were seated in a spot where the sun shone directly on us, making it uncomfortable at times; I would suggest they consider getting some shades. Overall, I'd definitely return to try something new and to enjoy those fries again!"

"the workers don't wash their hands. more than once I have personally observed, touch nose/face and hair, circumstance money, coughing and wiping hands on seat of the pants before salat and pizza. it's really disgusting. we were regular, but it went so much downhill. Last time we ordered food from here that my wife really got sick. it is not hygienic and not clean. eat them here on their own risk, as the personal does not glove or wash and they treat all salad and pizza ingredients barehanded. let me repeat that the salat benches are used again and again in the same night and the staff does not wash their hands or glove when they dim deep into the benches with unwashed hands and fingernails. the health department must really visit. it is particularly lively when they wondered that they wash after using the bathroom?"
