"A pretty solid place for take out and standard Italian dishes. Good gluten free choices and the GF broccoli and cauliflower crust options on the pizza are also pretty tasty. I’ve also had pasta and wings here. Both are always pretty consistent. The staff here is pleasant when you call and they have your food, mostly, ready on time. I’ve been to the west Seneca location as well and the food is pretty seamless which is nice to know what you are getting. The portions are pretty big and a fair price for the price. After eating here I can look forward to having leftovers for lunch the next day. I just did a take out order and picked up a small pizza and Tuscan salads with chicken. The pizza was for someone else but it looked good and was hot when I picked it up. Overall the salads were nice. Lots of chicken and it had a decent amount of toppings and what seemed like a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. My only call out is that there were hardly any apples and they were a bit flavorless and brown. They had probably been sitting around awhile and they looked a bit sad. If I ordered this again I’d hope that there would be more fresh apples. Other than that the spring mix was fresh, the chicken was cooked well, and the blue cheese, apples, walnuts and dried cranberries went together nicely. I was happy that they didn’t put piping hot chicken in the salad like a lot of places do because by the time you get home the lettuce wilts. If you are in the area and need a decent meal, check them out!"

"we have booked an early birthday dinner for six and sitting and served immediately. we were immediately informed that several elements would not be available on the menu, as a personal shortage in the kitchen. we were disappointed without pizza or calzone, manicotti, lasagne options to leave, but there were enough other menu items that we did not harass. we ordered appetizers for the table, not knowing that our escapes will be enormous. the calamari was only rings, no tentacles, some of us disappointed, as they were both clearly listed on the menu. the pork were ok, a little soggy, but with a beautiful marinara sauce. the artichoke hearts were larger than the hearts and so tasted in lemon butter sauce that the brot was soggy but tasty. the salates were not remarkable. the brot was very good and was served warm. all pasta entrees were huge and usually filled with pasta. the 2 meatballs on spaghetti were also very large, enough food for 2-3 meals. the ny strip steak was nicely fed and grilled a bit more medium than medium-sized (for no sauce cost), but the enormous amount of steakries were too much. maybe a quarter of the pommes plus a damped veg or kartoffel would have been nice. good wine selection and the service was good, although a bit hurried. we could have taken more time between the curses to relax. when the musician began to sing, we all noticed that he played country and folk music instead of jazz, which was strange for a restaurant that has jazz bar in his name. all this was a relatiw pleasant culinary experience, but not stellar. a for effort; c for the version."
