"The old Snickers... located in the Battery Park district is a nice neighborhood haunt. Great place to catch a drink and some okay bar food. The patio is quite nice except pur table was right in front of a speaker, literally inches away from us, making it difficult to talk. Our server, well when we saw her, which was not often seemed to be having some personal problem. A nice and very efficient young man took over our table of 7. He made up for he lack in attentiveness. The food is nothing to write home about, typical bar food, burgers fries, pasta, the menu lacks in creativity and healthful choices. The older gentleman playing host was snarky, as we arrived he asked us if we had a reservation, I said the web site did got give information about reservations to which he said you're supposed to call ahead... I replied with how you supposed to know that if the website and social media doesn't tell you to do so? Once inside, we see 3/4 of the patio is empty, I don't think the guy is very happy with the job, nor is he a people person. Surely he was not welcoming...I was about to suggest we spend our money elsewhere but we decided to stay anyway. I will not be running back here anytime soon."
