"I drove two hours to have lunch with my best friend, and we started with some amazing fried pickles as an appetizer. My friend enjoyed the fish and chips, but I wasn't as pleased with my Rindstroganoff. It lacked aroma, the meat was cut into large pieces, and I only had a butter knife to eat with. While the meat wasn't exactly rare, it was less cooked than moderately rare. I decided to take my dish home to cook it a bit more. Despite this, I would definitely give it another try and have a few more of those delicious fried pickles!"

"We were excited to try out the place! Got there and took over five minutes to get a drink order with maybe 12 people at the bar. We did get on the list for dinner right away. Waited for over 45min still no one came to take our order. Seen many waitresses check the list and never came over. Also asked the bartender, just to confirm we made it on the list and she said yes. we will come back and try again another day."

"The Big Kirk (1/2 lb) is one of my favorite burgers in the world. I like to add cheddar and mushrooms to it. It has just the right amount of grease, making it incredibly tasty, and it was cooked perfectly medium-rare. I also love the Onion Strings, which are super thin onion rings that are hard to find elsewhere. They could use a bit more salt and pepper, but it's probably better to have less and adjust to taste at home rather than have too much. I appreciate that you can get Cajun spices on the Cajun Ranch Fries (you can even order them without ranch for extra crispiness). I do prefer the steak fries they used to use a few years ago, which were more like mojo fries, but these were still quite good."

"I grew up in the great metropolis of Hickory, NC. I have been gone from the area for about 20 years now, so there are restaurants that have opened recently where I have never been. My parents seem to like this place and since they are paying, I am eating. We sat outside on a chilly yet warm afternoon. Temps in the 70's but a breeze and the sun disappearing on occasion made us keep the jackets close. We were there for lunch and we were the only ones there. It was a Saturday afternoon. The service was a little slow at first but became manageable. I ordered the double chicken breast with bacon and cheese plate and the chicken was cooked perfectly. There were a couple of fatty pieces thrown in there to keep my taste buds and teeth active, but it was overall very good. My daughters ordered the same thing and split it and they also liked it. They claim there was too much cheese on their chicken, and I nearly disowned them. Is that even possible? My parents, who eat like they are birds in the desert with little opportunity to eat, split a sandwich. They barely finished it, but they would split a moonpie and not finish it. I enjoyed the food and the outdoor seating was nice. It was a little pricey. My dish was $14 and a salad was $10. Not great for a family of four or six."

"We 've been here a few times, most recently with a group of friends for a weeknight dinner. First off, bravo for being able to make a reservation for 14 people on fairly short notice, despite the fact that they were fairly busy. We were seated in the side room (with the shuffleboard table) which is so much better than the main bar area from a noise perspective! We were at a long table and it was perfect for being able to talk and socialize. If it matters to you, note that the main bar area is very loud! The menu includes lots of traditional Irish pub food shepherd 's pie, fish chips, corned beef cabbage all of which members of our party ordered and enjoyed immensely. The burgers look amazing and we 'll definitely be back for $8 BYOB Build Your Own Burger night on Mondays! I had the chicken caesar wrap which was really delicious. The tortilla was lightly grilled and packed with large chunks of grilled chicken, bacon, sun dried tomatoes and housemade Caesar dressing, and the french fries were well seasoned and crisp yum! Our server Lexi was friendly and accommodating. The decor and vibe is exactly what you 'd expect in an authentic Irish pub. We 've only been here for dinner, so I 'm looking forward to checking out the best damn happy hour in Temecula every day from 3 7pm!"

"2nd time at this establishment. First time was a great experience. This time, service was absolutely disappointing. Asked the girl if it was open seating, and yes was the response. Bar was not at all busy. 2 people at bar, family at another table, then there's the 3 in my party. Bartender/server took forever to welcome us, and she didn't provide menus or even ask if we wanted to order food. Didn't offer water either. Drink order was a long awaited delivery. Food order placed, but waited a very long time for it to be served. She never came to our table to provide status of food, or even ask if we wanted more drinks. She needs more training, that's for sure. We still left a gracious 20% in tip, even though she really didn't provide efficient services to earn it. You want to make better tips? Take care of people so that you have return customers."

"I have loved this place pretty much my whole childhood. If you wanted good irish food this was the place to go. The cottage pie , the meatloaf, the potato soup, anything in the menu was guaranteed to be delicious. This used to be a once a week spot for my husband and I. We noticed the menu expanded and could not wait to come back. The experience was unfortunately a disappointment. The cottage pie was comparable to a can of Dinty Moore. The woman who waited on us seemed more interested in getting back to her conversation with the man she was talking to. There were a total of 4 pieces of semi chewy beef in my meal. I am so sad at the death of this legendary spot in the south side. RIP Pipers Pub."

"Stopped in at The Pub as it was about lunch time and I was driving by... A typical blue collar bar appearance from the outside. Plenty of parking. There was a handicap ramp up to the front door. I sat at a table just off the bar and was immediately approached by a smiling waitress named Racine. I ordered the special of the day (spaghetti green beans) which was delightfully good. The atmosphere was more that of a family restaurant. I was pleased to see that they are supportive of the US military as is clear form their decor. They had ample TV screens for sports but the sound was down so people could talk. I have no doubt they would turn it up upon request. Their prices are very reasonable. Their Wi-Fi was great and complimentary. I will return."

"The old Snickers... located in the Battery Park district is a nice neighborhood haunt. Great place to catch a drink and some okay bar food. The patio is quite nice except pur table was right in front of a speaker, literally inches away from us, making it difficult to talk.Our server, well when we saw her, which was not often seemed to be having some personal problem. A nice and very efficient young man took over our table of 7. He made up for he lack in attentiveness.The food is nothing to write home about, typical bar food, burgers fries, pasta, the menu lacks in creativity and healthful choices.The older gentleman playing host was snarky, as we arrived he asked us if we had a reservation, I said the web site did got give information about reservations to which he said you're supposed to call ahead... I replied with how you supposed to know that if the website and social media doesn't tell you to do so? Once inside, we see 3/4 of the patio is empty, I don't think the guy is very happy with the job, nor is he a people person. Surely he was not welcoming...I was about to suggest we spend our money elsewhere but we decided to stay anyway. I will not be running back here anytime soon."

"Foods pretty good and a decent variety at that, but it 's little bit more expensive than I 'd like. It 's typical for bar food prices though, I 'm just kinda cheap. I 've only been a few of times but it seems there is always a handful of groups inside, so it never really feels empty when I 'm there even at odd hours. It never got too loud when I went, which I have more sensitive ears so I appreciate not needing to use earplugs.My only complaint is that twice now I went and got treated as though I was underage because I don 't look as old as I am (I look 18ish). The waiters would take the beer menu (not that I like alcohol anyways) nearly as soon as we sat down, both times saying something like I don 't think you will be needing these , and on my most recent trip, a coworker and I had our menus taken after we ordered appetizers, which we weren 't sure what to think about that. We remembered our orders though, and when our waiter came back we ordered them, and our waiter seemed a little bit surprised. I could have taken things the wrong way but I couldn 't but help feel a bit insulted. Outside of those 2 experiences everything was great."

"I had cheese curds and a steak salad. The curds were great although they could have been drained a little better after frying. The salad was a wedge of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese. bacon tomatoes and chopped steak on it. The tomatoes were awesome. The steak was slightly overcooked and unfortunately tasted too salty. However I like this take on a classic wedge salad"

"The portions are generous, and the food is authentic Irish pub fare. I ordered the corned beef stack but chose to have my potato cake served on the side rather than underneath the meat. The potato cake was deliciously crunchy, while the rest of the dish was rich and covered in gooey cheese and sauce. My husband opted for the fish and chips; the fish was excellent, but the chips were just skinny French fries. We enjoyed the beers we selected. However, my main issue with the meal was the overly energetic atmosphere. There were four TVs in view from our table, each tuned to a different channel, and a rowdy crowd at the bar. To top it off, there was only one waitress managing the whole place, and she was clearly overwhelmed, which affected the service. This visit was a stark contrast to our last experience, which had been a quiet brunch!"

"We stayed here after riding the canal cycle path looking for good cold refreshments and lunch. The beer selection had a nice variety and the mixed beverage department had some creative concoctions. They also had a contactless menu. I ordered a It's 5 o'clock somewhere and it was excellent, it had a beautiful tropical refreshment taste and I didn't have something that before. For food we got the burgers, the Brewer 's Burger was great and the picked onions on the burger really stood out and gave him a nice taste profile. The did dead were definitely homemade, light and crispy. The onion leaves were also tempting and safe to be good with the fry batter they use. Many shaded seats also in a nice clean walk from the main road!"
