"The Big Kirk (1/2 lb) is one of my favorite burgers in the world. I like to add cheddar and mushrooms to it. It has just the right amount of grease, making it incredibly tasty, and it was cooked perfectly medium-rare. I also love the Onion Strings, which are super thin onion rings that are hard to find elsewhere. They could use a bit more salt and pepper, but it's probably better to have less and adjust to taste at home rather than have too much. I appreciate that you can get Cajun spices on the Cajun Ranch Fries (you can even order them without ranch for extra crispiness). I do prefer the steak fries they used to use a few years ago, which were more like mojo fries, but these were still quite good."

Steakburger. They always enjoy a delicious steakburger where they can pile on the toppings to their liking. I believe I've been coming here since I was born.

what a burger. if it takes 3 serviettes to eat a burger that is a juicy delicious meal. also loved how the meat is cooked over open flame. a must if they are in palo alto.

The Turkey Burger was tasty, but quite messy. The crispy onions resembled thin, soggy onion rings. After pulling a few strands out of my mouth, I decided to just take them off the burger entirely. View menu

Everything was perfect! It completely satisfied my cravings. I was surprised to find regular fries instead of steak fries, but they were still delicious overall. A special thanks to whoever made sure to package my burger condiments separately so they wouldn't get soggy. I appreciate it!

Apparently, they used to have incredibly delicious potato wedges, but they no longer offer them. However, the burgers were fantastic, and the fries were still absolutely delicious! We will definitely return when we visit Stanford. We recommend this burger place for anyone considering where to eat.

I used to eat at the Old Kirks on De Anza and Hwy 85 many years ago as a kid, it was always good eating. I decided to re live some childhood memories by ordering a Big Kirk and Fries. Literally in 20 years nothing has changed and it was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend this great Bay Area establishment!. View menu

"I would give it a slight thumbs up. The burger was overcooked and dry, but it did have a homemade quality to it, rather than being preformed. The meat had a pleasant charcoal flavor. The fresh toppings were available at a self-serve station. The steak fries were average. The service was brusque, and the prices were high—$14 for a cheeseburger with bacon, medium fries, and a soda. Overall, it wasn't memorable and I wouldn’t choose to return."
