"We really love this place, but just got home from what was the longest Prix Fix ever for Valentine’s Day. We walked in at 6:45pm for our reservation and we were signing the check at 9:43pm. It was an hour between courses. 3 hours total of just sitting there, chatting with the tables on either side of us about who will get served first. Everyone was chatting about the speed of service.Listen, the food was fantastic. Incredible stuff, but the service was pretty lacking. Zero communication on why it was taking so long. Rare visits from staff to refill water, and tables were being served out of order non stop. We were even told by one waiter when I pointed out that other tables were being served before us and that we had been waiting for 2 hours at that point, that the manager would take care of some of our check. It was an actual lie. When we received the check it was certainly full price, but I just had no energy to fight it. A refill on wine was not the fix they thought it was. If the staff had been more communicative it would’ve been a little better.Definitely come here for the food, just never on a holiday unless you want to spend the WHOLE evening there. The wait was not worth the $240 check."
