"We thought this was a unique place to meet friends, but turns out it 's one of several locations, mostly in Arizona and Texas and a few opening in the East and South too. The menu is slightly Italian (mostly the meats and cheeses available) but more so elevated American. Overall the food was good and prices were fair but the food quality was just average, with a wedge salad that was just torn iceberg salad (I guess that 's why they dropped out of culinary school, hehe) and a homemade lasagna that was the wrong texture (very firm) and aren 't all restaurant lasagnas homemade, so why put it in the title? We 'll give the server props though because every time we asked about a dish or said what we were going to order, she recited back what the dish was composed of, as if to confirm we were making the right selection. She also pushed dessert very early, like 50% into our entrees, and she won because we took the bait, but unfortunately they were oversold and again the flavors and textures were just a little off. The service was good but we 'd say a little overly attentive and of the type to butt in. The space was pretty cool/open/high ceilings, big space not on top of other people, with an open kitchen in the back. The music was a little too loud for the space for us to hear each other easily but it wasn 't impossible. Overall it was a good experience, we just wished the food were a little higher quality."

"This place was such a disappointment. I ordered the Chesapeake crabcake sandwich that came with coleslaw and french fries. My guest ordered the fish and chips. The fish and chips were pretty good and the crab on my dish was really tasty as well. However, the bun, the lettuce and the tomato that accompanied the dish was just a little too large to go with such delicate crab meat. Another terrible thing about this place unfortunately, is the staff. We had a waitress that was really inattentive and rude. I ordered one beverage and on the menu it said that it had fresh lime juice in it. However, it did not have fresh lime juice. They put roses in it and they overdid it. I informed the waitress that I wasn 't impressed so I sent it back. I ordered another and they muddled the cherries in the bottom of the beverage, which is a big no-no. I also sent that one back. The waitress told us that they are a pooled-house which means waitresses and waiters are supposed to work together meaning that they all can help each table when individual guests need assistance. I think this was her way of saying, why don 't you talk to somebody else. One thing that also really makes this restaurant different than others is that when a customer is unsatisfied with a certain part of a meal or drinks, service or staff, the management should come over to the table and make sure that everything is OK and say, we would love to have you back again, and make sure that your experience is better than this one. So, please don 't allow this first visit to be a reflection upon the rest of our service and commitment to our guests. So I will say this, we will never come back here again."

"My party of 2 decided to make reservations for a Saturday evening. Our reservation was for 7:45pm, however, they didn't have a table available when we arrived. After about a 20 minute wait we were offered a high top even though we booked standard seating. There was no way we wanted the high top that was literally at the front door. Then they offered us another high top which was pretty at the front door and at the opening of the patio area, which also politely declined. We were finally seated in the patio area. Now this may have been nice on a summer evening but it was a November night in northeast Ohio! It was quite chilly and our table was placed very awkwardly, kind of in the middle of the floor. The fans were also on. Even though the table next to us was empty, and in front of the fireplace, we were told it was reserved. Our server, Stewart, took quite awhile to even acknowledge us, but we were able to order drinks. My companion enjoyed the expresso martini and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The bread was good but I found the butter much too salty. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and waited at least 30 minutes before they arrived. Our server walked past several times, as he was very attentive to his other tables. Finally he apologized for the wait and said the oysters would be coming out. It took almost 45 minutes and it honestly makes me think he forgot. The two of us had barely finished 8 oysters when our food arrived. I had the crab cake and lobster Oscar which was phenomenal and the reason for my stars. The lumps of crab meat and lobster was delicious. My companion ordered a ribeye and said it was cooked just as asked. The asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes were good also. The service is what was disappointing. We watched our server be very attentive to everyone but us! It was so bad that we asked another server to box our leftovers and get our check. Not to mention, not getting the seating we requested. Also the patio was so dim I could barely read the menu. We noticed that every table, but ours, had the small tea light but ours. While the food was great the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming."
