"I heard about Skipolini 's prego pizza during my last pregnancy but never made it out since my son arrived early. Fast forward to present times and I wanted to try it out in hopes of getting this baby to come out! About 5 hours have passed since we ate and no luck so far, but will definitely update my review if this famous pizza actually does the job haha. We had our son with us so I was called hoping to order ahead so we didn 't have to wait too long for our pizza, but they said they couldn 't do that. But much to our surprise when we drove up, there is actually a playground on the outdoor patio! It 's pretty small and according to my husband it would be crowded if even two kids were in it because of how it 's designed, but luckily we were the only ones so it helped kill some time for our little guy. They also gave crayons and kids coloring pages, so this is definitely a kid friendly place. The wait wasn 't too bad, took about 15-20 mins for our food to come out around 3pm on a Sunday. My Prego Pizza was pretty tasty but not nearly as spicy as I hoped! I added a lot of chili flakes and Tabasco which added some more kick to the extra onions and garlic on the pizza. The ingredients on the pizza itself are all your standard meats (salami, pepperoni, ham, linguisa, sausage, ground beef) and veggies (olive, mushroom, bell pepper, garlic) that you would find on a combo or supreme style pizza. Not my first choices but I 'm here with a goal in mind! As far as taste goes though I enjoyed my husband 's Bettega pizza. It 's listed as a favorite on the menu also and I love a white sauce pizza! The spinach and tomatoes go really well with the white garlic sauce too. We each got a small size and were able to bring half of each pizza home still so the small is a very generous size for one person. Service was okay, nothing memorable or spectacular. He got us what we needed and when we needed it, and nothing more. The interior of the restaurant gives me Macaroni Grill vibes, like it hasn 't been redecorated or remodeled since it first opened up. They had a great 80s/90s music playlist. Although that didn 't go with the restaurant or atmosphere, it was enjoyable to listen to at least. Just seems like a restaurant that has been a staple in the neighborhood for years and has its regular customers keeping it going. Not sure if I would necessarily come drive out of my way again to return, but it was a pretty solid pizza with delicious crust so I don 't have anything bad to say. Here 's to hoping this Prego pizza kicks in when I eat my leftovers!"
