"Picked this place by accident due to I had reservations somewhere else up north and due to traffic, There’s no way we’re gonna make those reservations. What a pleasant surprise and I’m happy that we detoured to Goat and vine Arrived on Valentine’s approximately 8 o’clock. place was fairly busy and they had a private party of approximately 20 people on the far side of the restaurant, they were loud and on the verge of being obnoxious. For appetizers, we had bacon wrapped shrimp which was delicious and for entrée eggplant Parmesan, and also short rib pasta. Both of them were very good. The amount that you receive is a lot, so you better come hungry. Service was good, but not excellent. At approximately 9:15 the manager came over and asked us if we wanted to put our entrée meal order in due to the kitchen is closing soon. Cording their website the restaurant closes at 11 so I was caught off guard by that a little. She was pleasant and nice about it and I understand if it closed at 10 o’clock They usually have carrot cake, but they did not have any carrot cake left, which was a disappointment. Did not get any dessert Overall, I would definitely come back here again when I’m in the area. Leaving the end of the evening they give you a pasta to go either regular pasta with marinara sauce or eggplant. It’s part of a deal that they have at the restaurant and everyone leaves with something. I’ll be having that for lunch this week. The thought was very nice, but we left with a lot of leftovers. The interior decor was pretty cool, major wine selections. It looked like they had an outdoor patio, but due to the snowstorm it was hard to tell the exterior view of the restaurant. It’s kind of hidden away off the main route. If you’re in the area fully worth the trip if you’re on a date or doing a celebration Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Underwhelming, dining experience. Non-busy time. 4 PM on a Friday. Started off with water, they do not serve tapwater. Only bottled. From there ordered cocktails and we were asked to order dinner. Had to explain three times that I was ordering a salad and a salmon dish. Not a salad with salmon. Salad was tasty. Large. Not overdressed. Arrived basically at the same time as the cocktails. Felt Rushed. Empty restaurant so no need to rush. lots of staff, but not engaged with picking up the cues from clients, but instead on their electronic devices, every moment they could. My biggest complaint is I ordered a $38 salmon dish that was supposed to be with a lemon butter sauce. The vegetables and potatoes were delicious. The asparagus was grilled properly. Still crisp but cooked. Combination of roasted, sweet and regular potatoes that were very tasty. The salmon, however, was over cooked and dry. Salmon typically is moist and pink in the center but this was white and dry and flaky. Not sure what the lemon butter sauce was, but it might’ve gotten burned up in the overcooking. Food was dropped off and our server didn’t come back till after we were finished and the plates were removed. Did not ask if we wanted dessert, but just wanted to know if we wanted the check. I said sure bring the check, but I wanna give you some feedback on the meal. Told him that the salmon was dry and over cooked. He did come back and said the manager wanted to offer us either an after dinner drink or a dessert. At this point we were kind of over the experience personally, so I just went ahead and paid and left. Would not return again."
