"**Conclusion: Dine Here Immediately!** **Backstory:** While staying in downtown Dallas with my wife and our teenage daughters, we found ourselves in a bit of a predicament after a long day. Our group was feeling a little cranky as we debated where to have dinner. After searching thoroughly for the best nearby Italian restaurant, we discovered Ravenna. **Our Experience:** As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Steven, our attentive and witty server. This set the stage for one of the finest dining experiences our family has ever encountered. **Highlights:** 1. **Outstanding Service:** Steven is truly a treasure in the fine dining landscape of downtown Dallas, providing service that deserves more than a five-star rating. 2. **Genuine Menu:** The menu offers authentic Italian dishes that remind you of recipes passed down from your Italian great-grandfather, avoiding overly intricate concoctions from culinary school chefs. 3. **Accommodating:** Every small request, especially for our grumpy daughters, was handled promptly and with a cheerful attitude. 4. **Delectable Food:** Every dish was served hot, bursting with flavor, and generously portioned. 5. **Inviting Atmosphere:** The cozy, nostalgic setting helped all our day’s stresses melt away. **Final Thoughts:** When was the last time you heard two teenage girls ask, "Dad, can we come back to Dallas just to eat here again?" That perfectly sums up our delightful experience. And don't forget to try The Godfather cocktail—it truly embodies everything Ravenna stands for. As I enjoyed my drink, taking in the lovely surroundings, I realized it simply doesn’t get better than this. So, once again, I encourage you: Dine here immediately! A heartfelt thank you to Steven for your skill and dedication—your exceptional hospitality is a rare and refreshing find in today’s world!"

"The owners of Ann Tony's Restaurant pride themselves in treating their customers like family, and they do it with aplomb. The atmosphere is comforting and the staff is welcoming and gracious. But the food (the FOOD! is sensational. The restaurant is located in a favorite neighborhood, Little Italy the Bronx. Here, the streets are lined with excellent Italian restaurants, a farmers' market, ethnic stores; locals of all ages speak Italian, and a visitor is apt to feel that they are somewhere other than New York. Ann Tony's menu tells the story of their establishment. Since 1927, the restaurant has been handed down from one generation to the next, and I declare you can feel (and taste the history. When trying a new Italian restaurant, we tend to order at least a sampling of the more traditional dishes (a marsala, a Bolognese, a parmigiana to make a comparison with similar restaurants, and with our own Italian gourmet cooking. Here we enjoyed the cold antipasto (prosciutto, mozzarella, sopressata, provolone garnished with cucumber, olives oil vinegar , and the clams casino (stuffed with bacon and roasted peppers . An entree was the Veal Chicken Rollatini Combo (cutlets of each stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, served in a Marsala mushroom sauce. Wonderfully delicious! (In fact, I'm fairly sure that a little tear rolled down my cheek after the first bite... Fresh ingredients perfectly prepared with just the right amount of gravy. We look forward to dining here again on one of our regular trips to this unique and special borough of Manhattan."
