"Our experience at the restaurant was disappointing due to the slow service. After ordering drinks, we had to wait for them to be made and delivered one by one before we could even place our food order. The kids' drinks were served in wine glasses, which was quite risky. Our children were quite hungry, and when we asked if we could quickly order a side of sausage or some berries, we were turned down. The menu lacks options for kids, and the prices for sides are exorbitantly high, making it easy to rack up a $25 charge just for a plate of food. For instance, at other restaurants, we might pay for pancakes and sausage for the kids, but here, the price for pancakes with a side of sausage and berries came to $25. We won't be returning for brunch. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for one child, only to discover later that they were made with espresso beans instead—definitely not the surprise we were looking for. Our usual spots, like Jacks and Lot One, offer similar prices but with much better service and a wider selection of food."
