"We ordered a ceviche tostada, which was just mediocre. It had an overpowering amount of tomato and onion but lacked sufficient shrimp. It wasn't terrible, but with a 4.5-star rating, we expected much more. We also tried the fish burrito, which unfortunately did not meet our expectations. After 20 years of enjoying fish burritos around San Diego, we know the difference between good and bad—and this one definitely fell on the bad side. The fish’s batter was too thick, failing to provide the light, crispy texture we were hoping for. It also tasted like the fish had been frozen instead of being fresh. Inside the burrito, there was an excessive amount of tartar sauce, or something similar, that didn’t quite taste right. Additionally, the filling was sparse, leaving the ends mostly filled with tortilla. I really wanted to love this place, especially since we had such high hopes. When ordering a fish burrito in PB, you expect a certain level of quality, and sadly, this one did not deliver."
