"We were disappointed with our experience at Hooked. We had high hopes for the fresh cocktails and small plates, but unfortunately, none of the dishes lived up to our expectations. My Watermelon Cucumber cocktail was bitter and had to be returned, but the mojito I replaced it with was good. The grilled Pimento cheese appetizer was oily and unappetizing, with a tasteless crust on top. The grilled cauliflower was dry and limp, while the focaccia bread was stodgy and undercooked. The shrimp carbonara had tasty sauce and pasta, but the shrimp was overcooked and lacked seasoning. However, we did enjoy the compressed watermelon salad, which had fresh and sweet watermelon and tomatoes, flavorful dressing, and perfectly balanced feta cheese. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was decent."
