"If you want to pay $18 for 4 chicken tenders and no fries this is the place for you! Atmosphere was fine until some woman (i assume the manager) came in and started whispering orders to the bartender and looking around giving people disgusted looks. Also do not buy credits to play music on touch tunes because they will completely turn the machine off if they dont like what you play. I asked the bartender what I should do since i lost money on touch tunes and her reasoning for turning it off was that a business party was coming in… did not see one person come in for said “business party”. Only good thing is she refunded me in cash for the touch tunes credits i bought.. This place Definitely only caters to regulars."

The food was so good. I love the way they do their fries. Our waitress was really sweet.

Kind of dark and divey. lots of beer options, not much else though. Kitchen was closed when we got there

The bar manager wouldn't play the Boston Red Sox game. It's hard to believe that a restaurant in Faneuil Hall wouldn't be showing the Sox! View menu

Came here for the drinks. They told they close 10 pm and not serving drinks anymore, even tho the bar is full of people and it says online they close at 12pm

Walked in at 9:30 PM with my friend. Immediately told the bar was closed. It was full and the bartenders were serving everyone but our group. We were told to leave. We left confused and feeling bad.

Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful staff. This place is a hidden gem in the Quincy Market area, nestled away in an alley off the main path, making it a bit hard to spot. It has an old-fashioned pub vibe with a bar, and it seemed like mostly locals were frequenting the place, which contributed to a friendly and welcoming experience. I usually steer clear of touristy restaurants whenever I can. View menu

I ordered two salads for myself and my colleagues, each costing $20, and I wish I could say it was worth it. The salads arrived without dressing and contained just some pieces of lettuce, corn, and very dry, old chicken. There were no utensils provided and the packaging was awful. The staff at the bar were rude and dismissive. My friend's salad came with just a piece of mozzarella, a few arugula leaves, and most of it was spilled out of the bag.

We ordered the combo appetizer to share, but it was clear that everything was made from frozen ingredients. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid. The bathroom situation was quite bad; there was only one toilet and the door was difficult to lock. To make matters worse, there were no paper towels and the soap dispensers on the wall were empty. There was a bottle of soap, but since there was no counter by the sink, it was precariously balanced on the plumbing. On a positive note, the bartender was friendly and efficient.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
