"I had lunch at this restaurant right after a visit to Costco on a Sunday. They opened at 11 AM, and since we were a party of three, we were seated immediately in a cozy booth with a pleasant ambiance. We arrived quite hungry and were eager to indulge in some good sushi, as options in the Phenix City-Columbus area are limited. After spending $177, we left feeling completely satisfied with both our meal and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or traveling that way. We tried a variety of dishes including the Pink Lady, crispy spicy tuna roll, soft shell crab, uni, and fried calamari. Our favorite sushi was the Foxy Lady, and the trio tartare was also very good. The sashimi selection was excellent, featuring octopus, tuna, yellowtail, and salmon."

"We ordered to-go but I don’t think I would be returning…. I would five this place 2.5 stars..Agedashi is not what I expected. I don’t think this place knows how to make a proper agedashi tofu. This was just a dish that you would see at a Korean restaurant as a side dish. Extremely disappointed.Shrimp and vegetable tempura was okay. The veggie tempura was good but the shrimp tempura’s batter was awful. It was hard and very difficult to chew without cutting up inside of my mouth. They should have used the same batter as the veggie tempura.Next we ordered 4 different rolls. They were okay. The rice seems like it wasn’t properly marinated, the amount of rice on the rolls were excessive, and lastly the rice was over cooked. The rice was very mushy. Hopefully it wasn’t old rice they microwaved as it tends to make the rice extremely soft and loses a lot of the rice vinegar flavor.Overall, I would not recommend this place nor would I go back a second time."

"We were able to join the waitlist through the app while we were driving over. Seated within 5 minutes of arriving during dinner rush on a Friday. Our server Amy was incredible and served our drinks and app so fast. Service overall was so quick from start to finish but not rushed. Family atmosphere with great lighting and not too loud. Fantastic dinner!"

"Tried to eat lunch but we were completely ignored and not seated. One couple walked in right in front of us and they were seated right away. The hosted then disappeared and never came back. There were more empty tables then occupied ones. Hosted came back out and bright several tables drinks and still never seated us. After 10+ minutes I finally stopped a waiter and he gave us attitude. One other couple leaving also said they received horrible service as well."

"Except for the best-I 've-Ever-Had chocolate cake, I didn 't care for the food. The birthday girl, who always chooses Paul Martin 's, loved it, however, and that 's what counted. We both had the same thing: fish tacos, one salmon and one shrimp. Because we each chose the combo instead of all shrimp or all salmon, we were charged an extra $2 each. She had french fries as her side while I had green beans; both costing an extra $2 for the upgrade. the extra charge, in my opinion was insulting and out of line. Besides, our food was cold. One other diner said her pasta primavera was very good, but the fourth diner, who had the crab cake, said nothing. The outdoor setting, in spite of the traffic noise, was lovely. I 've been to Paul Martin 's several times with my birthday friend, but I would never choose it. Well, maybe just for the cake and a cup of coffee. I don 't know how they ever get the ratings they do."

"not sure why reservations are needed as it seems like large “family style” tables. Maybe it was just a slow night. eating was very good, they order at the bar, then they bring it to them. typical BBQ food, ripening, brisket was delicious. side (mac n cheese, maisbrot were ok, not great. salat was not very fresh. place was very cold drafts, but I would look for them casual good bbq meat then this is the place!"

"This was my first time eating at Carabba’s Italian Grill, again not got my significant other. We started off with the bread and olive bread. I requested butter. The bread was good. He drank a sweet tea and I had a blackberry lemonade because they were out of raspberry. The appetizers we started off with were zucchini fritte and tomato caprese with fresh burrata. The zucchini was so good I could eat it all day. The tomato caprese with fresh burrata was also very delicious. My significant other had the chicken Marsala with a house salad. He said both were excellent. I had the 10oz Tuscan grilled sirloin with grilled asparagus and a side of penne pomodoro. The penne was okay. The steak and asparagus were pretty good. The dessert we shared was a cannoli cake for 2 but they ran out of cannolis. It was really good. Taylor was our server and he was excellent, he was very prompt with our requests! He swiftly removed empty plates and always gave us refills before we even noticed we needed them. The restaurant was quite and gave off a very romantic feeling. I would defiantly come back here."

"Food tasted good. Party of 4. Cost was high I thought. $97.58 plus tip. I ordered the Never ending Pasta . Our waiter was slow to respond. Drink refils were slow. My granddaughter ate 3/4 of her meal with no drink. No one to refill. Seems when someone orders a Never ending Pasta, then the waiter just does not come by as often. I am guessing Olive Garden does not want to keep your never ending pasta full. Others around us received quick service on drinks and breadsticks. But we did not. Hard to say.....waiter? Or not wanting to keep pasta plate full. Keep in mind next time you visit."

"We decided to take advantage of the Thursday 29-cent wing special and chose to sit in the bar area. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were really impressed by the beautiful wooden decor and friendly staff. Right after we were seated, we were treated to freshly baked bread served with olive oil and herbs. I ordered the bone-in teriyaki wings for 50 cents each, while my roommate opted for the nachos, which featured thick and crispy chips. To complement our meal, we enjoyed $5 drinks, including a peach bellini and a strawberry margarita. Overall, it was a delicious and delightful dining experience."

"Amazing menu with a large selection of bourbon. We visited for dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations but the restaurant did not appear overly busy despite it being prime dinner hours. For drinks I had the Caramel Apple Martini (yum! and my husband had a Bourbon flight. For starters we tried the Bruschetta. The Bruschetta had good flavors the house made bourbon balsamic reduction glaze really was amazing, but I thought the bread was too hard to bite through. For dinner my husband had the 10oz Sirloin with Roasted Red Potatoes and I had the Prime Rib on a toasted baguette with Onion Rings. All the food was delicious. The bread used for the prime rib was perfect for the sandwich and for dipping. And the kale pesto with the roasted red potatoes was an unexpected surprise. Service was friendly though a little slow."

"This was my first visit to this restaurant and I had the carne asada and egg, which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. We dined in for breakfast and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person was between $10 and $20. I would highly recommend trying the fries, Steak and Eggs Breakfast Plate, and Toast. There was plenty of parking available, with free parking options in the parking lot."

"This used to be our favorite spot to visit whenever we were in town. Both of us grew up in La Verne and have been dining here for 30 years. However, we’ve noticed that it hasn’t been quite up to par during our recent visits; it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. The service remains outstanding, and our latest visit was an improvement, but I truly hope it can return to its former greatness!"

"I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Chili's in Grand Junction, Colorado! From the moment I approached the host, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming for me and everyone around. The bartender, Andrew, was outstanding—quick, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He truly hit all the marks you’d want in a bartender. I was also impressed by the server in the adjacent section; he engaged with his guests and trained his team beautifully. The managing partner, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was a delight to speak with. As a woman in the industry, it was refreshing to connect about the restaurant experience. If I could recruit any front-of-house team member and bring them to my restaurant in the Midwest, I definitely would. My lunch was exactly what I was hoping for in a chili experience—delicious food, a great atmosphere, and wonderful people. Kudos to Team Grand Junction for a fantastic job!"

"I had a free meal for my birthday so my daughter took me for dinner. It was our first time to have dine in. Our server was the only one there except a manager (I think). She had a large dinner party in the other room so she warned us that things could be slow but she would definitely take good care of us. We had some drinks and appetizer and entrees. All very good! Yes, we were patient with the slower service but honestly it wasn't too slow and we were enjoying our evening so we didn't care anyway. She was a fabulous server and it seemed the manager was genuinely trying to help take care of the customers. The drinks and food was amazing. We had a wonderful evening for dinner and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend!"

"I’ve been ordering here for a few years and most times it’s been great. I usually buy the special, 2 pizzas and a bottle of soda usually ordered at night. Ordered today for pick up and the pizza was seriously awful. Undercooked, not cut, thicker crust on half the pie all around awful. After trying to eat it to the point we just gave up. Pizza has to be awful in this house not to get eaten but this one was beyond that. I decided to call and see if we can take it back, 3 slices were taken out and I would have paid for that. When I called the girl kinda knew what I was talking about pretty quickly and put me on the phone with someone who said they were the manager and they made the pizza. He said “sorry” and then we had 20 seconds of silence I asked can I bring them in to show you, he said no, he’s not going to do anything about it because he felt we held the pizza vertically for some reason but there’s no way he made a mistake. Even if I decided to hold my pizzas like record albums, what does that have to do with it tasting awful and bland? Guy was rude and if that’s the manager I now understand why the pizza was awful. This place is good if you want to spend a little over 20 bucks and get two pizzas maybe treat your crew on the cheap but as far as customer service, taste and quality it completely fell off. When you guys decide to respond to this with your fake excuse like the other bad reviews here, PEOPLE see through it. Bad pizza, bad business, never ordering from here again. You get what you pay for."

"It was an awesome full filling dinner everything was hot cooked deliciously with great tasting flavors. The extended salad, breadsticks and soap is belly filling by the time we got our lasagna a couple bites and the carry out box it is. The waitress Christina was attentive, friendly and definitely went out her way of explaining the tasteful soups. We only got 2 try 2 the Italian one is the best ! The environment clean. There health inspection restaurant score is 99% I shall visit again whenever in that area. I must say I forgot my expensesive sunglasses and had to turn around to get them they had them ready for me at the host desk. Thank you for that honesty to get those sunglasses back?"

"For a white table cloth dining experience, I expected more. Service was average at best. There is nothing to write home about but not the bottom of the barrel. The restaurant was not busy, yet our water glasses ran empty, plates and silverware not cleared from the table, and wine glasses for the table were not given. (We had a bottle of wine for the table) The restaurant was humid and very warm. I am not sure if the AC was working. Then there were flies and fruit flies that we were, pretty consistently, swatting. Wine selection was descent while the spirit selection was lacking. However, the experienced bar tender made due and crafted excellent drinks. I was disappointed, overall, with the food. The bread and pasta were fantastic, the elk was over seasoned, octopus was overcooked, bruscetta pieces were so large that they had to be split into thirds. Our vegetables with the elk were leftovers from who knows where. The presentation of our plates looked as if the chef had just come from their first job and decided to cook for the evening. For a $400 tab, with 5 guests, I would have expected a dinner salad or soup before our entre. Overall, extremely underwhelming for a white table cloth dinner. It was definitely an experience."

"The service at this restaurant was noticeably slow and lacked the professionalism expected for a place of this caliber. While not overly expensive, spending $150 for two people is not considered cheap. Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing on both occasions we visited, with last night being even worse than the first time. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. We were seated in the bar area, which had more of a casual pub atmosphere with a child present, who appeared to be either a staff member or a friend of the bartender. My partner ordered the filet, which was unimpressive and could have used some improvement. Despite its flaws, the restaurant is situated in a great location."

"I recently relocated to the area and received a voucher in the mail for a complimentary cheesecake to try at this pizzeria. I finally decided to use it today and ordered a cheesecake, zucchini sticks, garlic knots, and a house salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pizza was hot and flavorful, very fresh, and the salad dressing was fantastic. I'm really grateful for the voucher, as I might not have discovered this pizzeria otherwise. I can't wait to return!"
