"The front room of the restaurant features a casual appetizer station with an assortment of items such as lettuces, Italian meats, vegetables, hot meatballs, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, and one soup, all outlined on their online menu. The concept is to help yourself to these appetizers before settling in for a series of small plates that are chef-selected and served at your table. Each dish is plated by the waiter from a large serving bowl, and they continue to bring out new courses until you’ve enjoyed seven small portions. You can request additional servings of any dish and revisit the appetizer station, although desserts and coffee are not included in the flat fee of $35. It’s still a BYOB establishment.
As for my thoughts on the experience, I must commend our waiter; he truly put in a remarkable effort, functioning as the only employee we noticed during our visit. However, the food itself was just average. It felt as if everything had been prepped ahead of time, cooked previously, and simply reheated before serving. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. I’m disappointed to see this restaurant take such a turn. It was a miss for us, unfortunately."
