"The food was amazing! I especially enjoyed the portobello fries with the mustard aioli. So tasty. Steak was also very good and quality. Service was great and all the employees were very friendly, kind, and professional. The place is cute and a great place to chill, have a drink, and eat some great food! I will be coming back"

"Liked the offerings at Happy Hour, though the kitchen was out of Brussels at ???? Received salad before we received our cocktail ???? And, received our pizza before we were finished with cocktail and salad. Seemed a bit rushed, even though restaurant was not busy. Loved the cocktail when we finally received it. The Caesar salad was delicious but a bit overdressed. The gluten free pizza was the best I have had in Sonoma County so far. Nice job overall just needs a little refinement. Wish the atmosphere was a little cozier"

"This restaurant is the epitome of mediocrity. The Pine Grove used to be excellent, but those days are long gone. My wife and I dined there last night, and aside from the charming ambiance and fantastic sauerbraten, there wasn’t much to get excited about, especially considering the prices. The $60 steak was cooked well but tough and hard to cut through. It was disappointing to find that there were no German beers available on a Saturday night—just absurd. The strudel was passable, but again, nothing special; it was overloaded with raisins and walnuts. While that might appeal to some, it wasn't to our taste, and we were not informed about it beforehand. It wasn't a disaster, just unexpectedly chewy. If you have a time machine, go back 20 years to experience the Pine Grove Inn; otherwise, it might be best to preserve your fond memories."

"I visited the Gerst Haus for the first time this past Monday. Enjoyed the atmosphere full of hardwoods and nostalgia. The wiener schnitzel, glazed carrots and German fried potatoes were served promptly and piping hot. The mild rye bread was also delish. What I may have enjoyed most was my fish bowl of Paulaner bier. They had a very jive selection of German geers, Haus beer and some local microbrewery choices. Definitely worth and stop."

"Unfortunately, the roast beef we ordered turned out to be a lukewarm pile of mush that we ended up not eating. Our table ordered three appetizers because they were advertised as being $2 off during happy hour, but when our bills arrived, the server informed us that they no longer offered that promotion. This was confusing, especially with happy hour signs posted everywhere and the information included in the menu. It would have been nice if she had informed us ahead of time or honored the advertised pricing. As someone with years of experience in the restaurant industry, I found the customer service lacking. I even had to remind her to adjust the check for the burger's happy hour price, which is a minor detail but still important since customers often consider special pricing when deciding what to order. On a positive note, my Wild West Berlin burger was fantastic—definitely a 10/10, along with the fries. Update: On July 6th, I returned and had a much better experience. The service was excellent—quick and attentive. I ordered the same meal again because it was that good the first time, and it did not disappoint."

"My family and I have been loyal customers of Schnitzel Haus since they first opened, and it is truly a fantastic restaurant. The staff treats every customer like family, and the service and food are exceptional. Their menu offers something for everyone, including options for vegetarians and those who are gluten-free. We have celebrated many special occasions there and always had a great time. Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates on their entertainment schedule."

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"It was a 40th birthday and that was not even once acknowledged. Made reservations for the roof 2 weeks prior but not acknowledged! Service was extremely slow, food was ok, and then 10min before the 2h are up we get a “you gotta go in 10min!” mind you it took 30min to put our order in and at least another 30 40 to get the food. We did not have a chance to get desert or anything. So if service is so slow maybe extend the seating time to 2.5 3h! And then 18% gratuity automatically included in the check so we couldnt even tip according to service level probably the reason why the service was so bad "

"Good place to get a drink and probably skip the food. Pretzel is not so good to soft and crust is not crispy. I tried better. Place this place is large and can be for big parties. There's a party area in the back, but it doesn't even see it. The tables are huge and can be occupied after 1 or 2 hours. Food is dry and taste is missing. Or that could be like German food, but I tried it in Berlin and Brooklyn. The pork pest is too dry and without taste. You should change the recipe as it is better. Pretzel is a disappointment. We have everything we eat to go for a late evening snack. You make a lot of drunken food. Service is the best part. You're so friendly and quick with the food. I didn't have to wait long for our check. Summary is worth a visit and usually come to be honest for the beer."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, which boasts an impressive selection of German beers. The choices are plentiful, and our server was incredibly knowledgeable. The bartender at the high tables was very attentive, and Carly helped us select the perfect beers to match our taste preferences. The German ambiance is warm and welcoming, and all the food was delicious. I discovered this gem through Visit Philly's list of "11 Pretzels You Have to Try." The happy hour deals are quite reasonable, but be sure to grab a seat at the bar or at the high tables to enjoy the happy hour menu."

"When I go to an ethnic restaurant I expect the decor and ambienance to be also ethnic, wheather it 's French, Italian, Greek, Chinese, etc. I was born in American with 100% German parts and been to Munich several times. Schroeders is supposed to be a German restaurant serving German food. The decor is just a big room with half picnic tables and half tables for 2 or 4. The beer stein collection is imperssive but did little to enhanse teh ambienance. The music playing was the Eagles and not the slightest hint of Germany. The food was 'reminisant of German food. The beer selcetion was fairly good. Over all I 'd rate Schroeders as just OK."

"My husband ordered the scallops and a brie salad, and he loved both dishes! I tried the gnocchi, and it was exceptional. For dessert, I had something that was really delicious, but it took a while to be served because it was quite complex to prepare. I can’t recall the name since it had many ingredients, but I do remember that it included cheddar ice cream."

"This place is disgusting and I should know because I used to clean the kitchens. I bet that pipe full of worms still gets new rags shoved in it every night. Try and come for me, Allen, I was 17 working nights on your cleaning crew where you regularly paid me incorrectly, that nda was signed by a minor who was working for you illegally and you knew it so try to come for me. This place is a disgrace to true German heritage. The food is all frozen and canned. That sauerkraut? Canned. All of the brats? Frozen. The only fresh things here are potatoes and onions which btw are constantly crawling with roaches which we had to pray for every single night because he would rather pay us $8 an hour to clean the entire restaurant including the kitchen and catering as opposed to paying an actual wage and hiring an exterminator. Go here if you want food poisoning, I remember more than 5 times when I worked here that the sewer backed up into the entire restaurant and customers were told it was just dirty water lol yeah it was dirty, dirty with sewage. Disgusting and disgraceful, the entire hanselman family should be ashamed of themselves."
