"I have to start off saying my meal was absolutely delicious. The beef brisket was very moist and tender. I soaked part of it in the Carolina Mustard sauce, and the other half in the Habanero Bourbon sauce. Both sauces were flavorful, but the kick of thespice in the Carolina Mustard sauce made me want it even more. The Collard Greens and Zucchini Tomatoes sides were verydelicious. So much so I couldn't stop eating them. To top off the meal I had a slice of Bourbon Pecan Pie. So divine and sinfulthat I enjoyed each and every bite. The pecans had a nice crunch, the custard was sinfully sweet, and the crust was flaky.Unfortunately, I can't say that my wife and son had the same experience. The pulled pork was good, but the potato salad and coleslaw sides weren't that good. The potato salad looked and tasted like dry mashed potatoes, and the cole slaw had a very strongtaste of cilantro. The chicken was very wet a bit more than moist, and the Mac cheese was creamy, but wasn't sure if it was abeer or cheddar cheese. For dessert my wife had the peach cobbler. She found it to have too much cinnamon. The space is far toosmall for the seating and waiting areas. If it isn't the people in line to order who are far too close to half the tables, itfeels as if there isn't enough room to wait because one is backing and/or bumping into something or someone. The restroom is sosmall that there isn't enough room for more than one person. There should be a sign to use the foot pedal to pump the water towash one's hands. Next time we will order takeout. Also, would have preferred rating 2.5 because pur experience was between okand dislike."

"I had previously reviews this when it was Dan Diegos. I drive by it regularly and saw the name change to The Pub and kept telling my husband we needed to go to see what if any changes had been made. We came by on a Saturday, in the early evening. We sat on the patio and saw the QR codes to get the menu but when looking at the menu thought that surely there was more? I saw menus at the hostess stand and grabbed a few. Sadly there was just not the selection there once had been. I ended up getting my old standby fish and chips and my husband got the same but with shrimp (shrimp were breaded and fried . Kidlet got chicken nuggets with fries. The nuggets came with ranch (is this a thing people dipping nuggets in ranch?! . I asked for bbq and was given some which my kid proclaimed the best bbq sauce ever. Come to find out it is her favorite bbq sauce Sweet Baby Ray 's. Was disappointed when I looked at the itemized receipt a week later to see we were charged .25 for bbq. It is a quarter but I would have appreciated knowing it was an up charge. Or why couldn 't the server have asked it comes with ranch for dipping is that ok? I would have said no requested bbq sauce and saved some money and ranch that no one ate. My favorite adult beverage the craic punch was gone (insert sobs here so I had a rose. Husband had stromalo cider. We used to get the bread pudding with whiskey sauce but after seeing all the changes we decided to leave. Total $61.15 (cider $7.50, fish and chips $18 x 2, kids meal $5, rose $8, bbq .25 . While I can 't say I will never be back, I can say that it won 't be the go to place it had been for us for years and I will have my memories of Dan Diego 's and all the family and friends we brought there."
