"Wonderful relaxed ambiance, romantic and great service. Offering general Mediteranean foods such as humus, we were more interested in the specifically Afghan dishes. Hubby adored the lamb shank with saffron rice. I found many vegetarian choices including Kudu (pumpkin w yoghurt available without meat), Sambosa (pastries with chick peas that remind me of British pasties, my favorite). The desserts were absolutely decadent. I had the mini chocolate cake and hubby had the custard flavored with cardamon and rosewater. Fantastic! I have already recommended Nora to 8 of my friends. We drove 1.5 hours to eat here but we will be back."

"The restaurant had a hired photographer invading the privacy of the diners. We expressed to the manager that we were uncomfortable being photographed or our photo 's being used in their marketing materials. We were told they were blurring faces; however, we stated we were still uncomfortable and do not wish to participate. The photographer then went outside and continued taking photo 's directly at us. We spoke to the photographer directly who again stated that they would blurr faces. We were quite uncomfortable and not enjoying a peaceful meal and asked that he stop until we leave. The photographer said he was just doing his job and then brought the camera directly in front of our table and we could hear the Manager telling him that we weren 't going to like it; however, the photographer attempted to act as if he were taking photo 's the other direction and turned his camera directly on us. We again told them we were uncomfortable and to please stop. The Manager did nothing other than walk away. We immediately paid our check and left. The disrespect of how this was handled and to continue to make us uncomfortable during our meal was very disappointing."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

The caesar salad was awful and full of yellow salads that made it bitter. I haven't been to the restaurant in years and it's clearly gone downhill. I spoke to a friend and he had the same opinion. Service was ok but slow. The busboy actually forgot to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he had given it. It was really a waste of Moey, but more importantly, ruined the birthday party."

"We have been ordering from Kabuki for many years and always tip well on delivery orders. However, on our last order, there was an issue with the website and the tip did not process with the order. We were not aware of this and did not have a cash tip ready for the driver. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the driver yelled "No Tip" at us, waved the receipt in our face, and refused to leave until we gave him a tip. Additionally, our order was incorrect as it did not include soy sauce or wasabi, something that has never happened before. We have always enjoyed Kabuki, but this experience was disappointing. I reached out to the restaurant to address these issues but received no response. I cannot support a restaurant that allows its employees to harass customers."

"I walked in and checked out the menu. The woman at the counter was friendly while I placed my order for chicken wings and French fries. When my food arrived, she was polite and laid-back. The wings and fries were delicious and not greasy at all. The service was outstanding. They also offer seafood, which appears to be reasonably priced compared to other seafood restaurants. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. My first experience was quite good!"

"A real gem in the neighborhood I wouldn't expect to find a decent sushi place. But, sushi here us amazing!!! The fish is very fresh and everything I've had here was absolutelly amazing. My favorite lunch place, gets crowded at night as locals know about it. Nit a fancy place and prices are in the mid-range, lunch runs at about $25-30 if you order sushi rolls. But they also have lunch combos for less. Give this place a try!!"

"It was a random place to eat but it was beautiful it happened naturally.We where seated really quick!The server took a while to get us water or ask what we wanted. But they took care of us quickly and respectfully after. I appreciate the hospitality and acknowledgment after.The sushi was amazing!!! Made my say and gave me energy. "We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. You may need to park in the garage across the street, which was free as of 11/15/2020. Enjoy!"

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and in the words of my colleagues: "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."

"We had dinner here on October 9. Was very excited to try it out because it has such great reviews. The waiter did not ask how I wanted my steak cooked so he just had it cooked how someone else at my table ordered theirs I guess. It took so long for him to come back, I did not say anything about it. I ordered the five cheese mac cheese and I was brought the lobster mac cheese. A very long time later I actually received the five cheese mac cheese and he told me he took care of the mac cheese on my bill. However, we were charged for both. I ordered a cranberry vodka, I received a soda and vodka, he did fix it, but I don’t understand why there were so many problems. Was not impressed at all. Overall, very disappointing."

"Took friends, new to the area, to introduce them to what used to be one our favorite stops in San Juan Capistrano. The place is so adorable and such a nice setting, but our food this evening was way below the standard normally experienced at Sun Dried Tomato. We ordered the Special which one would assume all chefs had been fully vetted and trained on the procedure. We had the Grilled Halibut I put that in quotes because it was anything BUT!! First of all it was griddled not grilled as the menu declared, we saw a totally seared and tough exterior only to be outdone by the way over cooked fish. It was tough, flavorless and and a huge embarrassment for us as we introduced a new California resident to your restaurant. While our very nice and accommodating server did try to have them cook up a new piece of fish for us, it came out seared again to toughness but completely raw on the inside rendering it uneatable. If I were the GM at this restaurant, I would dismiss that cook immediately. Our server did the right thing and removed it from the bill, we had 2 servings, and we tipped him as if the bill was full, it remains one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Just to note, every time we have been to this restaurant, we have had the best meals, might be a while before we give another go."

"My daughter and I had looked forward to having lunch at what use to be our favorite fancy place to eat in Stillwater. She ordered a ribeye WELL DONE I ordered the garden salad with adding the steak to it also cooked WELL DONE! I also included I do not want any pink please. My steak came back still pink. My daughters steak was RED! She is one that prefers it cooked done but can eat it unlike myself. Also would like to include the quality of the salad was not the same as previous visits. Lots of white the ends that are normally disposed of) instead of large tomatoes cut up as previous visits it had some small grape tomatoes. I picked out and left on the side plate a lot of the trash ate the salad enjoyed being with my daughter but The booth we sat in was dusty the sides next to you we could both see the dust standing) I had to wipe off my seat to sit down but I kind of shrugged it off because was still looking forward to the meal. Now here 's the thing OUR SERVER WAS VERY NICE! I think she was possibly one that had not been working very long. She had a difficult table beside us that an older gentleman was being very loud about getting a cup of soup instead of the bowl he wanted. These were OSU people with a donation person. They were very loud So Extra complaints on our server did not seem nice when she was dealing with all of that. But the biggest upset is that our favorite fancy spot is no more And also being a person that never believes in punishing a server for obvious other people having issues housekeeping cleaning the booth seats and surrounding COOK THAT CAN NOT COOK A STEAK enough said about salad. YES I gave ABOVE the highest suggestion because she was very nice!"

"Overall it was a very fun experience! Definitely better than other “igloos” I’ve been in before. Pros: Food and drink minimum was reasonable, and food was delicious. Most of the champagne chalets were very cute and decorated nicely. Our server Jordan was fantastic attentive, helped us with pictures, pleasant to talk to, really enhanced our experience. Keep up the great work, Jordan! You’re killing it. Cons: We were given clear, standard plastic cups for our drinks, not even plastic champagne flutes, which didn’t make sense to me because the “igloos” were on top of turf so glasses breaking shouldn’t have been a concern. Kind of weird to drink Veuve out of plastic, especially when the restaurant marked it up by over 100% (typical bottle is $70, but 1776 charged $150). Also the chalet next to us was given real wine glasses. The food was served in to go containers. Maybe it was in an effort to make the servers’ lives easier, but that coupled with the plastic cups made the experience feel a little cheaper than expected. The “love” themed chalet looked a little tacky and I’m glad we weren’t given that one. A price tag was left on the top of our coffee table and a decorative tray was placed on top to hide it vs. just removing it."
