"I traveled to Harrisburg for business and found myself on restaurant row. Bacco pizzeria and wine bar is located on the corner in a beautifully grand, 200 year old building. Upon entering we were immediately seated and given waters. The decor and ambiance are relaxing, modern, and inviting. The gigantic wall behind the bar is easy on the eyes, as were the staff members. Our waitress was very professional, accommodating, helpful, and offered perfect suggestions. She was working quickly taking care of her guests while simultaneously assisting her coworkers clear and clean tables, running food and drinks, and she did it with Grace. I can not remember her name, but she has maroonish colored hair, and lipstick to match. We ordered a Margarita pizza, chicken parm, chicken picatta, and Gnocci Carbonara. All of the menu items were tastey, filling, and presented nicely. The gnocchi carbonara was delectable. We drank espresso martinis and they were PERFECT! Kudos to the bar manager for stepping in and making them for us because the bar and service bar were busy!!! He was a very kind, handsome young gentleman dressed well, with glasses, and brown curly hair. The entire time we were there he was working hard helping guests and his staff alike. Our experience was wonderful and the three of us agreed we would all love to return! The food, service, and overall presentation were fantastic!!!"

"Stopped at this place on a Saturday night without a reservation. It was the two of us so we figured we'd chance it. Great call because we were seated as soon as we entered the building. We were greeted by the waiter who had on his mask. And was able to take a seat at almost anywhere in the restaurant. there was not too many other people there which was great for us. as soon as we sat down the waiter brought us water and gave us a menu. The other waiter came in and let us know what the specials while we ordered our drinks. I had originally ordered a prosecco but then when I took a second look at the menu I saw a cocktail called Montego Bay and I had to have it. Great call on my end! That drink was super delicious; so much so I had to have one more before I left the restaurant. For an appetizer the waiter suggested a shrimp appetizer. it was a shrimp with a reduction of white wine sauce with garlic and red pepper flakes and it came with toasted bread. It was really delicious we almost finished up all the sauce. The waiter provided the specials for the night which was a paella and a rack of lambs and that's exactly what we ordered. We did not regret it at all. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The rack of lamb was cooked really well and the paella was delicious without being too overdone. I believe towards the end of our meal the chef had came out and asked us how it was and we had to give him his praises. if you're in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, definitely stop by this place. the ambiance was really interesting with a whole lot of statues which seem to be African statues all on the walls. Very retro artsy decor. The staff was great service was really well done. And again do not go without trying the Montego Bay cocktail. I may just come back just for that cocktail. Yes it was that good."
