"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"This past week we drove to Myrtle Beach for our anniversary and dined at Sea Blue on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The moment we walked in, we found this tastefully decorated, inviting restaurant to be exactly what we were looking for. The star of the show was Chef Kenneth. Having had a late lunch we went straight to the entrees. My husband had the Australian Rack of Lamb which he said was one of the best he has ever had. I had the perfectly prepared Duck Breast. Jennifer prepared an amazing Manhattan for me. Wine with dinner was another winner. The pastry chef prepared a hot lava cake with caramel gelato which was heavenly. I would be remiss if I did not mention the impeccable service thank you Shannon. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant in the future. Being a food snob, we plan our trips around great restaurants. There are other restaurants in the area we would like to try based on the recommendation of other foodies. They are Bistro (Longs, SC) and the Aspen Grille at N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. At this point in time it is so important to support our locally owned fine dining establishments. For many of us who eat to live, it is our key form of entertainment. Please give these restaurants a try"

"We came for my friend's birthday. It was extremely disappointing. The food was awful and overpriced. There was also a limited choice. The Caesar salad was awful and full of yellow salads that made it bitter. I haven't been to the restaurant in years and it's clearly gone downhill. I spoke to a friend and he had the same opinion. Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forgot to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he had given it. It was really a waste of Moey, but more importantly, ruined the birthday party."

"My husband and I ate here before seeing a show at the Majestic Theater. We both had the Pan Seared Red Snapper. It was the best meal we’ve ever had. The pearled cous cous and nopalito salad made the dish. We were also happy that half portions were offered. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning!"

"Celebrated hubby's birthday. Food and service were excellent. Space was small and dark. Our 2 person table was so close to the one next to us so it was uncomfortable and I had to turn my body to walk between the two tables to get into my seat. We were sent an email saying to park behind the restaurant but when we drove down their driveway, cars were in the way so had to back out and park the other street behind Tempo. The night ended not good because our vehicle was broken into while parked at the street behind their restaurant."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."

We requested the fan turned towards us a bit and waiter refused, then after hour, the fan was turned towards some other tables and we were even hotter!!! very matter of factly and cold, would practically look at us like yeah, ok!!!! Cant really explain it. Very unlikeable person! waiter was like upset when we asked for the Miami Spice Menu. He even asked oh, you want the Miami Spice menu? That was a very derogatory comment/question. out of of us ate Miami Spice and our bills totalled over $ anyway!! Also, why a tip ON THE CHECK???? Tips are NOT MANDATORY!!!! They are a reflection of service, we did not argue it but ITS ABUSIVE AND MAKES WAITERS NOT TRY THEIR BEST AS THEY ALREADY MADE THE TIP!!! NOT UNDERSTAND why your restaURANT WOULD NOT GIVE OPEN TABLE MEMBERS THE POINTS EARNED BY MAKING A RESERVATION WITH THEM! I dont even understand this attitude!!! Would not recommend this place at all just because of the service we received. Food moderately good, not the very best for the price"

"The food was overall pretty good but the ambiance was a bit frenetic. The wait staff was not attentive. We finished our appetizer before the waiter brought appetizer plates. The staff walked through the dining room with a basket of dirty laundry. We weren’t offered fresh pepper for our soup or meals and had to wait a good 5 minutes after being served for salt and pepper. The time between courses was too long. We did enjoy the lobster bisque and scallops. The ribeye steak was underwhelming for the price. For the price I wouldn’t choose to go back again."

"Fresh oysters on Tuesday Oyster Night. We came in a bit late but were seated quickly at a lovely outdoor space. There were six different kinds of oysters to choose from, and I love that when we got our plate, there were numbers on the flags to help us differentiate them. We ate the oysters with fresh lemon juice, cocktail sauce, and Mignonette. They were absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have is with the duck liver mousse appetizer. It was a bit dry, similar to the texture of nut butter, and not served with enough bread. The bread wasn’t like a traditional baked baguette either. It was a bit soft and mushy. It would also be an improvement if the dish is served with more varieties of picked vegetables."

He made our anniversary dinner special. The food quality was very good as well. "Pierre’s has such a good reputation that we decided to go even though we were told it is pricey. The rooms are beautiful, with a great view of the water. For an upscale restaurant you expect excellent service. It was lacking. We ordered cocktails which didn’t come and the staff brought out the appetizers, no drinks. While we were still eating the appetizers the staff started to bring out our entrees. My husband ordered the scallops and the portion was three scallops, for $62! Our friend ordered the rack of lamb, which consisted of only two pieces of lamb on the bone, for $75!! The dessert was crème brûlée which was unflavorful. The maitre’d (spelling) apologized for the poor service and comped us for the drinks and dessert, which we appreciated. It was a disappointing and very expensive experience."

"It was the slowest service for a nice restaurant that I have ever had. We have been there several times but it has never been this slow. It took us 2 1/2 hours to finish lunch, not because we lingered, but because of the slowness of the service. When we order dessert, it took 25 minutes before the desserts were served. After we got home, we received a call from a lady at the restaurant, claiming that someone in our party had paid with a gift card that had insufficient funds. She asked us to find out who it was at the our table did that and to fix it. Otherwise she threaten to put it on my tab. We contacted everyone in our party and none of them paid with gift cards. My wife called the restaurant this morning to to report that, and only then did the lady admit it wasn’t anyone at our table. It was another party. But no one had called to tell us that, and no one apologize for accusing us. Very amateurish and very rude. On the plus side, the food was delicious as usual."

"So let's talk ambiance. A nice, clean, simple French restaurant. The have outdoor seating as an option. How about service? The waitress we had was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Now food. We ordered the fondue which consisted of very small unevenly cut bread and apples, overcooked broccolini and shaved radish. Firstly, I expect anything French to be visually beautiful and appealing. This looked like they handed a knife to a preschooler and asked them to cut the items. I ordered the Legumes Au Vin. The menu description is, roasted vegetables, burgundy and potato. What came out was basically a base of mashed potatoes covered with gravy with a few onions, mushrooms and garnished with two overcooked baby carrots. It was sad to say the least. When you go to an upscale restaurant you expect more, right? I will add that the experience wasn't completely negative. The cocktails were absolutely delicious. They got that right! I definitely would not return or recommend."

"When we arrived that evening, we were excited to see that someone had gotten engaged on the beach. We started off with drinks on the beachfront porch before heading upstairs for dinner. However, shortly after being seated at our table, the newly engaged couple and their group joined a table nearby and their celebratory noise made it difficult for us to converse. We asked to be moved, and the manager promptly relocated us to a quieter area and checked on us throughout the evening. The rest of our meal was fantastic, with delicious food and excellent service."

"This place met all expectations and exceeded them. Service and food were all exceptional and the value is very fair against comparable experiences. I have a single criticism that is less associated with the restaurant itself, which should be addressed if possible. The entrance to this restaurant has a ramp of Whitney road that is so steep that if you have a low to the ground car or with many normal cars, you will scratch the floor at the entrance and exit."

"This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in Colorado, not just in Colorado Springs. I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants in California, and I have been craving food like this since returning to Colorado. While I have found ok to good food in the Springs before, I have never experienced something as spectacular as this. I had heard great things about this place and finally went to try it tonight. It was the best meal I have ever had in Colorado. Even though the Michelin guide recently came to Colorado, they did not visit the Springs, which is a shame because this restaurant is worthy of consideration for a Michelin star. I ordered the boneless USDA prime ribeye with a white aged cheddar fondue added to the green brandy peppercorn sauce, and it was amazing. The bread pudding dessert (and every other course) was also fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"The environment and service for this restaurant was great! However, the food was not great, I had the salmon and substituted the spinach for mashed potatoes and it was very bland. The salmon was crusted, so I was expecting some flavor there, but unfortunately my food let me down. My boyfriend had the chicken Alfredo and his food was also very bland. The portions were reasonable, but slightly overpriced for what you get."
